EG with the lead after map one. I felt like Beastcoast drafted a bit out of their comfort zone here, not used to seeing Dark Mago on Lesh but I am not following them that closely so I could be wrong.

They were out drafted in the first map. EG banned almost all the best heroes of K1. On the second map, I think Beastcoast drafted well but still, EG is way better than them. Beastcoast is now eliminated from the game. EG will move on to face Aster next round in the Lower Bracket.

Next game will be PSG.LGD vs Team Spirit. I was expecting these teams to be the favorite but one of them will have to go home after this series. I think Team Spirit is a better team but we cannot deny how dangerous PSG.LGD can still be. Another exciting game coming up.

Those that are eyeing for Team Liquid, we're all thinking the same guys. It seems that Team Liquid is going to be the champ of this Lima major but still too many things can change.

Hopefully, it goes smoothly for them as I have an outright bet on Team Liquid making it to the finals.  

Less than a day that we have to wait until their match starts against the Shopify Rebellion (Former EG).

That aghanims shard, I think if BC's magnus took that there can be a lot of good plays that might turn the game against EG. But yeah, that's it the game ended in favor of EG and moving on the next bracket.

I guess what they lack right now is communication and adaption to the current meta, which teams like Liquid is currently utilizing. Between Spirit and PSG.LGD, it's basically a coin toss, but Team Spirit is somewhat showing their form and their plays far better than what PSG.LGD is offering right now. That over 2.5 seems really inviting, but there might be a surprise along the way if Collapse steps up and make insane plays like he just did in the previous days.

You're right it seems like the meta is somewhat the issue for them but thankfully NTS dominated with his Storm Spirit in the second game. 

In the third game though it was a complete 360 as Team Spirit really made good use of their power timing with the Drow and NP.

For the next set of matches later today, i'll be betting on Team Liquid -1.5@1.78, SR showed up against Team Spirit but I don't think they have a chance against Team Liquid.

Many thought that the other Chinese teams are the ones to dominate after Ame, Faith_bian, and XinQ aren't playing with PSG.LGD anymore. How I wish the team was complete in this Lima Major. Not saying Old Eleven is that bad, but the roster that was able to have great teamwork during the Chinese qualifiers would've fared better. Hopefully, in the next majors, we cannot see teams that are incomplete, especially visa issues which is too weird knowing these players had been playing in many different places for a long.

They still put up a fairly good fight and made it to game 3 against Team Spirit but LGD doesnt seem to have the same edge like they used to. Maybe the new kids on the block will mature quickly and get to a similar level that they previous LGD had. One can only hope.

The first match of the day in esl pro league group b matches will be played between mouz-furia. Both teams are strong and both teams will give everything to win this match. This match is actually important for both teams separately. I can't distinguish who will win, but my heart wants mouz to win.
The second match of the day will be between SAW-Imperial. I think Imperial will win.
In the Heroic-Big match, I don't think big has a chance. Heroic will win the match comfortably.

Yeah, they won't be the same again. I think if it's for the first game, have you seen the great combo of what happened at the bottom tower with the Treant OGing and then being followed up by the wrath of Nature and then other ultimates from spectre and dawn breaker?

That was one of the best combos that I've seen on this tournament and it was such a lovely moment to see.

It just so happen that the spectre didn't became the carry for that game and its presence wasn't really felt because of nature's prophet. Well then, Team Spirit advances and they'll be up against Talon Esports.

Did not expect a clean 2:0 sweeps today, seems like favourites really decided to prove their worth today. Only Liquid left, best team in the tournamnet so far but I feel like at least one underdog will manage to take a map today. Shopify Rebelion is a good team and I am taking over 2.5 maps @2.5.

Damn thats a better odds, I got the same bet at 1.65 but as long as Team Liquid ended up winning this then its still great. Its risky but I'd love to take a shot on this. Worst case scenario would be Arteezy pulling something crazy like he did in the previous game against Team Spirit then somehow SR ended up winning that clutch game

Overall in the Heroic-BIG match, people's thought that Heroic would easily win the first two maps. There are positive changes in the BIG game and the hyped has adapted to the team and is contributing for now. Teams lost on maps of their own choosing. Actually lost on the BIG nuke map, also BIG was also very close on this map. In the ongoing game, the decider map Vertigo. It's a head-to-head fight on game.

I want LGD to still perform but it really is painful to see them lose some games that could have been theirs. The roster is quite good mechanically but not fully in sync. Yeah, this is just the first major and there are still lots of tournaments between now and TI. They have a lot of opportunities to improve their team chemistry. I expect them to be better on the next Major. Hopefully, they will be complete and no visa issues that could cripple their team.

Team Liquid has shown their dominance in the first match. Once I saw Lina on Team Liquid, I was thinking it is an automatic win. Maybe SR was thinking they can counter Lina but that is just not true. This patch, Lina is just too strong to give to your opponent. It is either you get it or you ban it. And true enough, team Liquid dominated the first map. It is now 2nd map and SR banned Lina on the first ban round.


Earlier, Gaimin Gladiator made easy work of Entity. I think Entity is quite strong in this tournament, but Gaimin Gladiator made it look too easy to beat Entity. Quinn is just too strong and confident with his new team. They are now guaranteed top 3 and waiting for the winner of Team Liquid vs Shopify Rebellion.

Revenge arcs, I like it

Hopefully EG pulls through. I want to see Arteezy and the squad to go all out against the org that let go of them that easily. From a business standpoint, it might be the best move, but there could have been a lot of options for the organization before releasing the roster. But yeah, Aster and EG is a coin toss atm. Both have their high points and have their low points. Between the two of them, Aster is more likely to qualify given their momentum and their capability to completely remove the defending champions from the tournament, though I'm still rooting for EG just so the face-off can happen.

+2.5 maps is a good and quick bet for Aster vs EG. Both fighting for tournament life, so both teams would surely give their all.

Placing a parlay on the favorites for the two EPL S17 matches today.

I'm impressed with BIG performance last night. BIG taken a map off of Heroic, lost Nuke in overtime, and all three maps almost went to the full 30 rounds, so that was an impressive feat. Tonight's match against SAW should be an easy one.

Movistar riders played very badly in the heroic match and made simple mistakes. In the complexity match, they played better and won the match. Movistar riders managed to win 2-0 in the match where Mopoz showed his difference.
One of the most important matches of the day was the match between Mouz-Furia. Mouz managed to defeat furia 2-0. Mouz was better than furia as a team and we can already see this as a score. But in furia kscerato is wasted. I think he deserves a better team, he is a special and talented player and the igl of the team is dragging him down.

Yeah I thought that SR was going to win that 2nd map because at some point it reached 17k gold differences. Its a pretty huge lead though and most of the time, there isnt really any comeback out of this huge differences but yeah glad our bet pulled that one through

I dont really have any favourites on lower bracket but Im taking this underdog for sure. They hold Team Spirit on group stage for 1-1 draw so there is a good chance that they could win against them

They really will be matching as Team Aster have been beaten by EG but we don't need to wait until tomorrow as the match will happen after the series of Talon and Team Spirit. If you want to bet for that match guys, my tip is that Shopify Rebellion has got the upper hand on this match. Why?
Because Evil Geniuses just came from a tough 3 matches against Team Aster and that has probably drained their minds already. Whilst for SR, this is their only match for this day. I wonder why the scheduling is like that but well, since it's in the lower bracket, all of the favors and toughness are in there.
