Let's just wait about the new DPC season while Valve is just setting the timing of it. Whilst for the ESL Kuala Lumpur, we will see teams that are already composed with their roster.

For now, most of them aren't seen yet and I am just waiting for them for most of the regions there. This is interesting as we're going to see the debut of those teams that have a new set of roster.

I hate to say that the game might continue dropping down in numbers but maybe there are new ideas and innovations next season that will provide a much-needed boost.

I am optimistic about the next season. Although this past one is disappointing but thanks to Team Spirit for saving the hype and making more players and fans still interested in the game.

We do see tons of changes specially on roster changes and with those breaks and retirement after TI which is something that becomes standard and this is why its not
already that shocking if we do see changes because teams will really be finding up their ways on making  that powerhouse team and to those who had been in long
time on dota 2 career would really be likely having that kind of break or would really be totally retiring.

They have already prove out enough about their greatness and it is really just that sad that they're leaving the pro world but still the memories that they have

I mean I would understand if its still TI so they might want to stretch it longer to get the best peak views that they could get but TI is over so there is actually no reason to drag this anytime longer. They could have made atleast 2 games per day for the quarterfinals but they didnt which is kinda sucks because I gotta wait for 1 more days to see Faker play 

I agree it sucks, plus the gap between the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals is a week apart, which is unnecessarily long compared to TI, where they squeezed the main event within an entire weekend.

The last four matches of the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 are being played today and tomorrow. Heroic and Virtus.pro are playing first for who goes into the semi finals, where they are going to meet Monte. Virtus.pro is the clear favourite here, even though Heroic had a good tournament so far I don't see any chance of them winning. My money is on Virtus.pro reaching the semis and they will likely win against Monte too. The two teams already meet during another tournament 3 days ago where Virtus.pro won 2-1 against Monte. I think they are going to do the same today after beating Heroic. Monte had much easier teams to play against each other so far except losing 2-0 against FaZe. The second semi finals match today is going to be Cloud9 vs FaZe, where FaZe is the clear favourite. They already won the last big tournament IEM Sydney 2023 last month and will likely reach the finals again. The grand final is tomorrow, I would expect FaZe to play against Virtus.pro, where FaZe is going to win. And even if Monte manages to reach the finals, FaZe is the clear favourite this weekend.

If Tundra and Team Spirit aren't changing their current roster till 2024, your excitement and my excitement won't last that long because there's a possibility that they're going to be TI favorites again. Still excited on the new roster changes on these teams though, I love to see new teams dominating and more players having a synergy with other players from their new teams because I feel like that's what's stopping these teams from playing in a way that's much more competitive than they can ever be, the synergy of the players on that team.

33 is a good offlaner but will he be allowed to buyout with his contract by Team Liquid? I'm sure that he's got a huge and expensive contract bind with the Tundra Esports.

This is where actually the real money comes from esports organizations when another team wants to buyout a contract from them just to get their player.

It's all about business and this is lucrative for such that are into this type of deal and that's probably not a problem since Tundra has already achieved a lot with him if ever, he'll be taken.

But knowing how rich the region is, some teams can afford to sign good players from different parts of the world just like what Saudi is doing in soccer. I also read the news earlier that a Saudi team wants to create a super team.

Yeah, a TI without OG, Nigma, and Team Secret probably has fewer fans than the previous TIs. But thanks to Team Spirit a former champion which is already familiar to most TI fans. GG, Liquid, and LGD also made that event competitive and exciting.

Fully recognizing the MENA region pretty sure will boost DOTA 2. Maybe more events hosted and sponsored by the countries in that region.

Ame is expected to return to the DOTA 2 scene this season. It's crazy though when he said that Valve should merge NA and SA since they only deserved a single slot.

Saudi or that region is known in wanting to dominate even in the esports scene. There's gonna be likely an Olympics for esports soon as they want to organize one.

I agree it sucks, plus the gap between the quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals is a week apart, which is unnecessarily long compared to TI, where they squeezed the main event within an entire weekend.

I didnt even realized this before I read your post, it totally sucks that they gotta drag it for a full month. Even having two short breaks on TI was sucks already and yet LOL gotta drag it even longer. Anyway, I think having long breaks like this totally makes the game unpredictable as I guess all the teams would be using all those breaks to come up with a new strat huh.

There is not much time left before the ENCE - TYLOO match, as part of the CIS ASIA Championship 2023 with a prize pool of $500k. I have always been interested in Chinese teams in CS, I remember from ancient times when TYLOO played CS 1.6. No one could even compete with them in the Chinese pro scene.

TYLOO is the underdog in this match, but I will definitely watch it, despite the fact that the difference in their world rankings is quite big. Snappi is the weak link of the ENCE team, he is 33 year old and his KD leaves much to be desired. With a odds above 3, I will bet, but just a little.

Congratulations on your win my friend.    It was a really good choice. Because T1 were way ahead of their opponent in strength already and I didn't expect T1 to lose even once.

However just as you said it is going to be a quite difficult matchup between T1 and JDG. But I would still bet my money on T1 for this matchup to tell the truth. Because T1 are playing quite different when it comes to Worlds. By saying different I mean stronger. T1 play Worlds much more seriously than they do in MSI. JDG are one of the toughest opponents but I think T1 would still beat them by 3-2 at worst.

747 is a sports betting site within the Southeast Asian region. I regularly use this site to bet on the NBA and other local games, though I don't know that they have an interest in creating their own esports team, and some veteran players at that. It's good that they are expanding and making a name for themselves. Perhaps they might consider it as an investment in marketing rather than an actual move to dive head first into esports.

Also, seeing Karl in this team somewhat feels weird. He's got the raw talent, just not the consistency. I don't think such a team could hone that for him, especially a new one.

I'm not that updated to shuffles but I can see sometimes players that are leaving the organization, I'm excited for shuffle for Chinese teams, they need to reorganize or have to broaden their horizons and join up with other teams, they always fumble when the matches are crucial.

Nine and Stormstomer are already out from their respective teams. Nine chose to leave the team because he's taking a leave and it's understood what he wants for now, to take a break and have some rest after all of the consecutive years of playing Dota 2. That's mentally stressful if you're going to ask me. If they didn't just take Topson on their roster and if Saksa is just healthy, I think this last TI would have been a different result for them. Nine is one of the best and most versatile mid-laners in the entire Dota 2 professionally. We've seen a bunch of unusual heroes that he has played in the mid-lane and managed to win games. If he didn't just transition and gave way for topson and made himself a position 4, it's really going to be a different story at all. While for Stormstormer for Entity, he's an inconsistent mid. Sometimes he's strong and sometimes he's not.

Also, the roster of Talon Esports has been released but I think this squad is likely going to stay and will play with a different organization since they have been released by their organization.

Going with the ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. There are already the 4 invited teams and they're the grand champs to top 3 from recent The International.
