Hi Guys!

I think that it would be great to get an article about our coin highlighting its unique features (CPU/GPU friendliness, moderate number of coins, 6% block reward decrease, etc). CoinDesk, Bitcoin Magazine, etc.

I'm ready to pay 10,000 GRS for it. Perhaps somebody would like to join in paying the bounty.

What do you think?

Difficulty is not increasing (see http://dwarfpool.com/grs), so it means that less people are actively mining it. We need to raise awareness about this great coin.

PS: I've set up a public trello account with some of ideas on what to do next. Please feel free to edit and add your own recommendations. Perhaps we can vote on todo items later. Here's the link: https://trello.com/b/EUl5cwEz/todo. I think it is easier to track items using trello than in this thread, but of course we can keep the discussion in this thread and/or PM.

Thanks,
Dmitriy (srcxxx / CryptoHunger)

Edit: offering 10,000 GRS for professional-looking design of the main website, not just any design. See details here: https://trello.com/c/wbc01pbL/2-re-design-the-website. It should be on par or better than other coins. If 10,000 is not enough, perhaps others could help fundraising?

Some interesting action regarding hashrates, doubled since you posted: difficulty is now 130 even though price has not moved. I would say more and more miners are realizing the potential of this coin. Usually you see a diff increase when there's a price increase - miners adapt to price hikes and not the other way around.

In a nutshell, this is a good sign, let's see if it's a temporary hashrate boost though.

Edit: Not sure how difficulty is calculated as fluctuations are very wide within a very short timeframe - there may be calculating issues

Ok, lets be clear here. Nobody in their right mind is buying this crap. Everyone is mining with a hope of dumping their coins once the price is high enough to get btc/fiat. Nobody will mine it after some time because the block reward will just get too small and the network will slowly die. This coin will be dead within a couple of months.

Its my right to show people my view on what this coin really is. A few early miners might benefit from this in the short term but in the long term the community will suffer. People will see that they invested in a scam and will avoid risking their money with cryptocurrencies again.

It's your right to have a different opinion. Wanting everybody to adopt yours is trolling. There is a lot of altcoin threads you can troll on, please choose (another) one.

Spending so much time replying and replying to this thread only shows something, you had some interest in this coin, but you decided not to mine/buy it (probably because others started earlier and got better chance), and now you see other are still mining and buying it. Then you want to convince everyone not to mine/buy it, because otherwise you will feel dumb after some weeks when you see this coin success.

Now it's up to you to decide, people thought they were late when BTC went for $4, and again when it went for $40 .... it's up to you to decide if you are late, and feel free to pump the thread Wink

I know my account is completely new but I am buying as well. The main weakness of the coin so far seems to be promotion and it looks like that'll be addressed very soon. Otherwise, the coin has nice features & an appealing overall package. More people will get involved as awareness of the coin grows and they see that now is a great time to mine/buy.

In a market where 99% of new coins are pure hype this quiet coin is intriguing.

The white paper for the coin is rather impressive. I have little idea what it means though. Does it suggests an encrypted blockchain or offer other levels of anonymity? The word "diffusion" is used in the paper several times. Is this a discreet way of describing anonymity? Somebody with smarts can perhaps parse the paper and get back to me on this.

diffusion is a desired property of a hash function.

No relation to anonymity whatsoever
