Intel Core i7 3930k stock = 1875kh/s
Could you please post your settings?

He prob used Yamminer. http://www.groestlcoin.org/pools/

No settings to speak of. Just edit .cfg file with your pool info and comment out the lines you dont need.

It should end up looking like this:
Quote
threads = 0

mining-params = grs:av=0&donation-interval=50
#mine = stratum+tcp://FnBbSE57cpCkEdu2eu38eNRVwkFLxMn4Lz@erebor.dwarfpool.com:3345/grs
#mine = stratum+tcp://FnBbSE57cpCkEdu2eu38eNRVwkFLxMn4Lz@moria.dwarfpool.com:3345/grs

#mine = stratum+tcp://yvg1900.grs_1:x@grs.cpu-pool.net:3650/grs
mine = stratum+tcp://user.worker:password@grs.suprnova.cc:5544/grs
#mine = stratum+tcp://yvg1900.grs_1:x@cryptohunger.com:3333/grs

#proxy = socks4a://127.0.0.1:9150
#proxy = socks5://127.0.0.1:1080
compact-stats = 1
print-timestamps = 0

threads = 0 means it'll use 'em all. Hope this helps Smiley

Hey everyone,

I would like to kindly ask the miners out there to please switch from dwarfpool to one of the smaller pools.
The reason for this is to avoid monopolization problems such as a 51% attack.

By no means am I accusing dwarfpool owners of anything. I have had a good experience with it myself.
It's just a reminder that, for the network to be healthy, we should go with the way of the precautionary principle.

Here are the best options, in a subjective order:
1. CryptoHunger - pool admined by the coin's dev, srcxxx. https just added / multi core server, DDOS protected / 0.8% proportional fee - fees and donations go to GroestlCoin promotion (!!).
2. CoinMine.pl - the smallest pool, but, from what I understood, with a friendly staff. Give these guys a gand!
3. grs.suprnova.cc - one of the "oldest 3" pools. I have used them without any problems untill changing to cryptohunger.
4. CPU-Pool.net - another big player, part of the "oldest 3". Did not test, but reckon that the ~300 miners currently on the pool are satisfied. They have the second hashrate overall, so they would not need any extra miners.

Happy hashing! Cheesy

just wanted to vote for coinmine.pl
it has little hashrate on grs but is a huge player on other coins like drk and src, super stable (never been down since I've been using it), zero problems and helpful staff.

In this post on configuring BAMT link to sph-sgminer dead, please fix as introduces misleading. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525926.msg6030892#msg6030892

Step 0. Download precompiled sph-sgminer from https://mega.co.nz/#!AQxnlBTB!tTDIYnsIL4NyBhe4A7nK63S9FREhCkmkSpsih64pIRM  <-dead

Just this faulty instructions to lead the way from the main site http://www.groestlcoin.org/pools/ and a lot of people come and break your head (You can follow these instructions to modify your BAMT to allow mining GroestlCoin.)

I love this coin, but best to mine is now KimoCoin and Im leaving thisone and start mining KMC. There is now such a great block reward!
srly, kimocoin is a scrypt-N copy/paste coin.
