if anyone is still missing coins i found a fix. Open up the console and type in checkwallet. It will tell you an amount of coins in question. Than type repairwallet. It should give back the same number but amount repaired. Close and reopen the wallet. If this has helped you in any way please donate. Trying to finally take my wife on our honeymoon.
this worked to get my coins back, but now I also have the visual c++ runtime error! tried to update the visual library but that didn't help. please some help with this wallet problem.

deleted everything but wallet.dat and the runtime error happens. In the background the wallet syncs up but my only choice is to close it. i can't interact.
Exact same thing. Only error I find in log: ERROR: CSyncCheckpoint::CheckSignature() : verify signature failed This is the window: Also, can you please make the different version, like 1.04.x So we know what file w'r at and to figure out what version people use, for error tracing. My wallet worked for a while but I am now also getting this same error. I now can't even open my wallet as it crashes immediately after loading.
Zach - this is a bigger problem than the wallet had before! Please kick your new developers in the ass and get it sorted!!!

We're also stuck on block 29747. Using latest linux wallet source.
EDIT: Managed to get past that block to 37k ish then wallet crashes.

Hi! My Windows Wallet is working perfectly fine. It makes me wonder, did the guys who are having problems follow the dev's instructions? Yes thank you, I did all that. The blockchain downloaded fine and the wallet worked for a bit. It then crashed and now every time I open it I get the following error at which point it crashes.

Our pool was on a different fork, which is what led me to try resynch the wallet. And now stuck with a wallet that won't load.

Never happened on any of the previous versions. If it means anything to you, the last line in the debug.log file after each crash is this: ERROR: ConnectInputs() : tried to spend coinbase at depth 23

Yes I have new wallet at home on windows and on the linux pool server. Pool is finding blocks and paying them. Home isn't getting them but is minting away. Block explorer shows the pool is paying out. Pretty bad when I can't get my payouts from my own pool

Block explorer shows the pool is paying out. Pretty bad when I can't get my payouts from my own pool I suggest you try running “getinfo” on the pool wallet or daemon and compare block height and difficulty to what you see from other pools and wallets. From the looks of the number of blocks the pool is finding and the hash rate, I would guess the pool is working a low difficulty and is likely on a fork. I think these values should be the same if everyone is on the same fork.

I think these values should be the same if everyone is on the same fork. Personal (windows) wallet: 16:42:11 { "blocks" : 38804, "currentblocksize" : 1000, "currentblocktx" : 0, "difficulty" : 6.36955424, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 283199038, "pooledtx" : 0, "testnet" : false } Pool: (linux) { "blocks" : 37710, "currentblocksize" : 1492, "currentblocktx" : 1, "difficulty" : 0.06509793, "errors" : "", "generate" : false, "genproclimit" : -1, "hashespersec" : 0, "networkhashps" : 881859, "pooledtx" : 1, "testnet" : false } So which is forked? The low diff is the pool, but that matches block explorer transactions. Is it on a bad fork too? I'm going to disable the coin on the pool again....
