I literally thought the game was a losing game already for Lyon. But, Lyon equalize the match 5 minutes into the second half. And the match ended in 1-1 draw. Although, they later got 2 more yellow cards. Lyon indeed performed well. But they have played 8 matches, but only won 3. I think they have to work on their performance. While, Lorient has also won 3 matches, but currently at the 4th position on the standings.

PSG maintained their win streak and it is 8 games now! They had a home game against Montpellier and they got another decent win by 2-0 here. Messi was still having a knee injury. And unfortunately we don't know when he will be able to bounce back from it. So, this means that he won't be able to play against Manchester City too. Even though he is still having difficulty in adapting to the team, he is still Messi and we don't know when he will start playing better.

Messi still has a lot of time to recover from his injury and start showing his skills, because it's only the beginning of the season. Moreover, Paris Saint-Germain is still steadily gaining points in the championship even without the direct participation of the Argentine, so this is not so important yet. However, Nice and Marseille still have matches in reserve to get closer to the leader, although of course the gap continues to grow. Yes you are right. Last year, when they finished the league champions ahead of Paris SG, I thought the expectations were higher this year too. Although they kept the main team squad overall, Paris SG's great signings this year seemed to herald that they would not be champions for Lille this year. I thought they would be second though. Lille has not been able to maintain the continuity of performance this season. My guess is that the Champions League is more important than Ligue 1 this season for Lille. They want to do a little better in the Champions League. There is no stronger team in their group in the Champions League. If Lille performs a little better, they will be able to go to the next round. So maybe the Lille team is now focused on the Champions League.

Not get good service and support for Messi faced difficult how to make assist and goal for PSG, but I think he can do anything when get chance, I am not really miss with Lionel Messi performance but waiting when my favorite player Sergio Ramos back on the field and play for PSG again, most waiting when his first match for PSG on this season because longer time not see Ramos playing again.

So far what's for me interesting about watching PSG is Lionel Messi, I can't watch Ligue 1 because I don't find local television that can broadcast it here, but I can watch it when PSG play in the champions league, Idk how bad his injury when he joined on a practice session, possible he going to be a starter next wenesday.

There is no doubt that they have made great additions this season. To be a successful club, PSG fans must make use of their biggest stars in the same squad. I wouldn't consider that as a good performance, they have conceded a lot of goals against weak teams and have had a bad time when playing against weak teams, look at the match against Lyon. they would almost lose, look at the game against Metz they would almost lose too, in my opinion they are in the top because they have been very lucky to score goals in the 90 minutes and also because the opponents are extremely weak

I wouldn't consider that as a good performance, they have conceded a lot of goals against weak teams and have had a bad time when playing against weak teams, look at the match against Lyon. they would almost lose, look at the game against Metz they would almost lose too, in my opinion they are in the top because they have been very lucky to score goals in the 90 minutes and also because the opponents are extremely weak

Payet already read your comments and now already done first goal for Marseille but still they are down by 1 - 2 against Lens but most chances they will do some more goals and take back their second spot because they are good in this season and most competitive side after PSG in French Ligue.

PSG's strategy is good for this season but their Champions League's win dream is not going to fill again in this season because they are not good in this as they have to win now this week they are going to face Manchester City which is also looking for first title in this competition, and they are some better than PSG specially after a good win against Chelsea in away match.

He is a good player and he will contribute to the team once he is back on his form. The actual season is just in the beginning and there is still so many opportunities to come. The main point is to avoid being injured.
For today, Lens blocked OM from chasing PSG which is leading with solid 9 points advantage from the rest after just 8 rounds which is shameful..

According to transfermarkt (this doesn't mean it is %100 true) the value of the players they sold was 74.6 million euro and the value of the players they got was 29.80 million euro. That is nearly a 45 million euro difference. When you lose so many valuable players and do not replace them with the equally talented players, you do start to get worse and worse.

I mean yeah it wasn't expected to be this bad, but it should have been expected for them to drop to second even third place after losing these players anyway, so we should have expected them to get worse, just maybe not this worse. We are still early in the season so we could end up seeing them get a little bit better in the long run as well. However PSG is definitely done, they are definitely the champions and it is obvious even from these early games because they are playing like crazy no matter who is in and who is out.
