Is still problem with the field? because this game was postponed on 14th august ago. I just guess Lyon is still unconfident because of that problem. But, so far when we look at the game, Lyon look don't have a problem with that because have 68% ball possession while Lorient seems just wait for a counter-attack. Furthermore I feel that being the underdogs allowed Lorient to escape the pressure, and stun Lyon who I believe were over confident heading into this fixture.

The results of the lorient and lyon matches clearly surprised us all including myself personally, indeed I expected that the match would be difficult for both teams but to be honest I doubt if lorient managed to win the match especially with a score of 3-1, my doubts against lorient are none other than because their unstable performance, while lyon came with an unbeaten record of course being the favorites in that match, but indeed that is football that we can't predict at all, lyon which was previously in 2nd place in the standings was actually destroyed by a team that had inconsistent performance in the league .

But I won't risk anything by betting on Monaco as their performance is unreliable for now. I'd prefer both teams to score @1.45.

They need to learn about their weakness and with this consistency is also very important for them because they lost badly in last season and downed with this now their start is again good and have 4 wins with first lost against Lorient, but this was terrible now they are going to have another challenge Monaco is also good even having bad season start, but now they are improving performance which is surely going to be good for them with just few hours back they won their first match in UEFA Europa Cup which is good for them and their confidence which is going to be improved their performance in coming matches.

But here Lyon is surely needed more stability as their few quality players are able to give them better results, but they also need to work on consistency which is important for them for their stay at the top of table.

Yes, I agree with you. There is no point in playing beautiful football if you cannot win the game. All that matters is the result at the end of the day. Lyon tried to make a good buildup from the back. But they had been unsuccessful in the final third. In contrast, Lorient did what they had to do in order to win the game. They played fast build-up football. It was often the case that they caught Lyon off guard, as well. Meanwhile, overconfidence is also one of the problems that can affect them from time to time.

Anyway, Lyon will have to improve their performance in the final third. Keeping possession in the final third can be key. And they will also have to work on the finishing.

I mean PSG is this great because they have that kind of amazing team, whereas when we are talking about the current lineup of Marseille, they are not that great and even though they are better than almost all the other teams, they are not better than PSG.

All fans definitely want the Champions League title even though they failed in the domestic league. But their journey will not be easy, now many teams are starting to slowly rise from adversity. They are the favourites, but there are many other favorites that I think are more favorites than Paris Saint Germain.

Lens's performance this season has been pretty consistent. They haven't lost a single one of their 6 matches. And they scored 15 goals in 6 matches. They have very stable performance. On the other hand, the performance of Troyes is not stable. They have won only 2 out of 6 matches.
The important thing is that their defense is very weak. Against a team like Lens, points are not possible unless the defenders perform well. I am willing to bet on Lens to win this match. If they don't make any big mistakes in the match they will win 2-0 today.
