I really enjoyed the PSG - Monaco match first of all.

Both teams had good performances. Monaco's goal came as a result of a bad choice of pass from Veratti to Messi and the defense couldn't do much against the counter-attack. After that Monaco still found some chances so the score might have been really different than this. PSG newly started to be more dominant in the second half. Messi and Mbappe missed an insane goal by targeting the goal post during the same attack. Later, Monaco even missed the chance of scoring against an empty goal. After Neymar's penalty goal, this time Hakimi aimed the goal post which would have been the winning goal for them. It was a really unlucky day for PSG.

I'm glad for not betting on PSG otherwise I can't even imagine how I would watch this match.

PSG vs Monaco became the fourth week of the French league 2022-2023 which resulted in a 1-1 draw. I am very happy to see Lyon at top of Ligue 1 again. They are used to be a giant like PSG now. They dominanted Ligue 1 in many years before this current dominating period for PSG.

It is good enhancement for their club but beating PSG in this league is a big difference and Lyon is mostly impossible to achieve that.

It isn't a very surprising thing to me. Maybe people are surprised with PSG's drawing with Monaco because of being used to seeing PSG win most of the time. But when we examine the head-to-head games between PSG and Monaco we can see that the results are not much absurd. Because Monaco are still not a very weak team against PSG even though there is a visible difference. Messi was not good at all in this game by the way. I didn't see his contribution much and the goal they conceded came after he lost the ball as well. Mbappe could have been the hero by the way if he didn't miss a big opportunity to win the game.

I would say they're yet to live up to their expectation , Do you know what it means to have players like world best player Lionel Messi,  Neymar, and Kylian Mbape as team mates and have the trio playing in one match, infact other clubs should be finding them very difficult to defeat.

Imagine when they start living up to expectation and you have each of them start scoring at least 1-3 goals in a match, their opponents will surely struggle and hence find it difficult to defeat them in any given match regardless.

imo galtier as usual made the best strategy for PSG, but luck was not on PSG's side, many PSG opportunities did not become goals and also the Monaco defense was quite solid in yesterday's match

All three attacker have a talent but it's not just PSG who are unbeaten this earlier season, there's still Marseille and Lens which have same points. PSG last match with draw was against Monaco but Lens didn't a draw, previously this team managed to beat Monaco, one thing for sure that is a problem and I think Christophe must be able to think of a way to break through the defenses of a strong team like Monaco in next or another match.

Playing selfishly is not per se a bad thing. Messi did the same for quite some time and it was outstandingly amazing. The issue is that now three superstars need to get along and that is Neymar, Messi and Mbappe and that is quite uncommon.

Messi has proven that he is a good scorer in any case. He can be a great player without scoring the important goal. It is more interesting to see whether Mbappe can do the same and that is where I have my doubts.

PSG is good more because of the individual players, not because of teamwork.  It was obvious in that match, that's why the players are still the same as selfish even though they've been on the same team for a long time.
Mbappe repeatedly forced kicks from distance even though his teammates got empty space.  It's the same as Nuno Mendes, who dribbles, it's not clear where he is going and he has too much control over the ball, which should be passed directly to his partner

Mbappe, Neymar and Messi should be a good trio in order to bring CL trophy to Paris. Otherwise they won't get to the finals. Their chance isn't weak, they should learn to exploit the maximum of that power..
PSG upcoming games aren't that hard until facing Lyon in September, 18 so they have to avoid such bad situation by making that trio in harmony.
