It looks like Lille has the highest chances to win the Ligue 1 this season.The win 0-1 against Paris really improved their position at the top of the table.Since Lille is one of the most consistent team during this season I believe they will win the title this year.

Lille has the highest chances to win the Ligue 1 indeed but it doesn't mean they will succeed. They are only 3 points ahead of PSG and once PSG will be kicked out from the UEFA Champions League (maybe this evening), they will be able to focus on the rest of the Ligue 1 championship and their 6 last matches. So be careful, the contest is not all over before the final whistle.

there is going to be a Lyon-Lille game in the coming weeks. It'll be a very tough one for both teams but Lille are the favorite side of course. And there is also a Monaco-Lyon game. One of them could be more advantegous depending on the result. But it seems like the title race will go on more between PSG and Lille.

Honestly Lyon needs to win every single game they are better than the other team. This is not just Lyon winning teams that are obviously worse than Lyon, this is Lyon basically winning every single game that is not monaco or lille, they should win every other game. If they do that, they have a chance to be at the third spot, I am sure monaco could slip up and lose a game, and if Lyon ends up winning that game as well they are guaranteed third, if not that means monaco will have to lose or get a tie and that could happen as well.

I just think that Lyon has a very stressed situation at their hands, but even if they fail they will have a chance to go to europa and that would be more than enough for them, they are already not good enough for champions league anyway, at least in europa they will have a chance to go further than they could with champions league.

You make a good point because the Lyon side is currently doing pretty well cause they have clinch up the fourth slot now after their game against the Angers which I consider to be an easy to win game base on the record and the last time I checked Angers never for once beat them. But football games can be unpredictable sometimes and I hope they keep up the winning energy to overthrow Monaco.

We will see which side is better on May 2, Monaco or Lyon? The home team are Monaco in that game and it's an extra difficulty for Lyon surely. I remember that Lyon destroyed Monaco 4-1 in their previous head-to-head also. So, it will be a very interesting game certainly.

I know the game between Lyon and Monaco will be like a game of fighting for the throne because Monaco won't like to lose their current slot while Lyon on the other hand wants to move up on the table but judging the current performances, I also believe Lyon will outshine Monaco. However, football can be hard to predict sometime

Lille lost one of the most important matches in their fight for the title. They lost at home and have a couple of more difficult matches ahead of them soon.
While PSG dosent have difficult matches and will probobly win them all. I think paris will take the title yet again. Lille i dont think have the guts to wins all

@ILuckyGuyI indeed it was a engaging contest but unluckily for Lille, they were unable to secure those valuable 2 more points. Furthermore I feel that PSG will be pumped up knowing that a victory can bring them closer to winning the title, hence I feel that we should bet big on PSG to win tomorrow.

Anyway, I am very disappointed with the Lille result yesterday. Indeed, I have no desire about a target who will get the title this season for Ligue 1, but just because I feel Lille still have dominance I bet on him but the result is a draw. Then, I made a bet on Marseille @2.10 and that's enough for me to pick up what I lost in the Lille match. But yes, with a result like that it looks like PSG still has a great chance of getting the title this season, even though PSG will still play at UCL but that will not be a barrier to consistently chasing 3 points.

The players of Paris Saint Germain should be high in morale at the moment after they successfully progress to the semi finals in the Uefa Champions League by eliminating Bayern Munich, I think Paris Saint Germain should be able to beat Saint Etienne relatively easily today.

I agree there is no other choice but must win against Saint-Etienne, in order to reduce the difference in points with Lille. If PSG fails to win 3 points
against Saint-Etienne it will make Lille further away and can make the morale of PSG players go down. So PSG do have to win if they are serious
about defending the Ligue 1 trophy, should see the difference in the quality of the players, PSG can beat Saint-Etienne easily. But in football
nothing is impossible, so PSG have to be careful.

A PSG win is a very good bet for today. I don't like small odds for bets, but when the outcome is so obvious for me, you can play with a larger amount. Neymar will not play today because he went over red cards, but PSG already have someone to score. I think PSG will score 2-3 goals today.

This is a golden opportunity for PSG but we know that sometimes big teams lose to smaller teams very unexpectedly. St. Etienne are at a safe place in the league table actually. So, I guess there will not be much problem for PSG.

I agree. Let's say PSG won this. Their next game is vs Metz while Lille are gonna be playing away vs Lyon. PSG could even take the lead after that week.

Looks like PSG game is slowly heading towards a DRAW and you can't blame PSG after the huge effort with bayern from UCL and by lille making a draw on friday they certainly don't need to push for a victory here and risk more injuries. I must admit that this is a bad game for making bets but you can pick for the last minutes of the game some corners or some yellow cards.

Other predictions : BREST - LENS = BREST TO SCORE / DIJON - NIMES = UNDER 2.5 / REIMS - METS = Both to score.

Yeah lol, I expected to see many goals in this game but certainly not 5 at the end!
Anyway PSG made the gap only 1 point with Lille again and next round will be crucial for both.

Lyon are aiming for the national title, which they are competing with Lille, Paris Saint Germain and Monaco: such an exciting fight for winning the Ligue 1 title, really. Tonight, I have no doubts Lyon will get three points in Nantes. By the way, Rudi Garcia, who has been in charge since October 2019, has managed to do a splendid job: nevertheless, his contract - which expires at the end of this season - has not yet been renewed. That would be very stupid IMO

Lille honestly taking their hard path for sure. They managed to beat PSG and then got a tie against Montpellier just so PSG could get closer again. Now there is only 1 point difference when it could have been 3. In any case they are doing well and this was just a mishap but I think they need to recover a lot better and keep winning games for a while, go on a winning streak for example, if you get like 4 winning streak, league is basically over and they will become champions most probably, but they end up winning the hardest ones and losing to easiest games, it is really weird.

In any case, if PSG ends up winning the league I will not be shocked, it is obvious that they are the better team in the league, haven't been playing proper football in the league this year, but at the end of the day it is PSG and no matter how little they cared about the league, they could still win it.

It was also a very interesting game considering that Monaco got the three points now!

Nobody would have expected I believe that Monaco maybe playing for the championship. A couple of weeks they were quite far behind, but they benefited from Paris being weak here and there and now Lille starts to be losing points as well.

Although I don't like the French Ligue as much, it still nice to see a close race at the top now. Makes it more exciting.

Paris was too dominant over the last years, wasn't really worth following what's happening.

Do you guys think Mbappé will be in Paris next year? What if he leaves, where does Neymar go? OR Messi to Paris?
