Lille fluffed their title bid with a home draw tonight against 7th placed Montpellier; the draw means the title race is wide open; Awin for PSG tomorrow means PSG would be level but first on goal difference; what are your predictions for tomorrow Ligue 1 ties?

It was a really interesting game. Montpellier got ahead 1-0 and managed to keep the score like that for a very long time. Lille tried everything they can and barely secured a point. There are only a few weeks left and they should be better to be able to win the title.

It was also a very interesting game considering that Monaco got the three points now!

Nobody would have expected I believe that Monaco maybe playing for the championship. A couple of weeks they were quite far behind, but they benefited from Paris being weak here and there and now Lille starts to be losing points as well.

Although I don't like the French Ligue as much, it still nice to see a close race at the top now. Makes it more exciting.

Paris was too dominant over the last years, wasn't really worth following what's happening.

Do you guys think Mbappé will be in Paris next year? What if he leaves, where does Neymar go? OR Messi to Paris?

After seeing the score was 2-2 in the 91st minute, I was also thinking that it was going to end in a draw. But Icardi had the last word in the match and made a huge contribution to his team by bringing the victory.    Now, they've closed the gap more with Lille and it's only 1 point.

PSG seems to be on fire these days and it seems to me that everything they touch turns into a goal, because first they secured that game in dying moments, and now winning the game against angers 5 - 0. It’s pertinent to note that a lot of credit goes to Icardi for his match winning performances, and I wonder if he can fire PSG to the league title too?.

In only 3 days, we are going to be able to watch a great and very important game between Lyon and Lille. Both of these teams have a similar form recently. There is only a 3-point gap between them and it's a golden opportunity for Lyon to close it. In their previous head-to-head, they barely got one point. But this time, I feel like Lille are even closer to a win on these critical weeks. It won't be easy for sure and it's very likely to see both teams to score. In my opinion, Lille will beat them also and guarantee their lead for this week too.

Lyon may slightly get to the top, but it reckon on them winning against Lille, which is leading the table. Am certain, Lille will have to win their next  match in order to maintain their position on the table.
Lille has not lose their last five matches. Lille's last match with Lyon ended with a 1-1 draw, which I don't think will repeat again on the 25th. Lille have so far won 20 matches this season, while Lyon have won 19 matches. I wait for 25th to decide who wins.

PSG also have a huge chance to even take the lead this week while Lyon are hosting Lille. They are going to play an away game against Metz before that big game. And if they become victorious, they will take the provisional lead until the Lyon-Lille game. Metz have a really really low chance for qualifying for any tournaments so I don't expect them to be very ambitious in this. I think PSG will beat them with a decent score.

PSG didn't surprise anyone and got a very solid win. Mbappe was in fine feather really and scored 2 goals. It should make him really motivated for the City game in the CL in a few days. Now, PSG have taken the lead with 72 points. They've started waiting for the result of the Lyon-Lille match which is tomorrow. They may end the week as the leader depending on the result of that match.

I see Lille as the favorite side in the Lyon - Lille game. Lille got a surprising draw in their last game vs Montpellier. They wouldn't like to lose any points in this game to take the lead again. According to the odds, Lyon seem like the favorite but I think Lille will manage to defeat them somehow.

jakdanyel : you might be onto something as Lille will have a well rested team, whereas Lyon played Monaco on Wednesday, so that could play a role. Lille's defense is very strong, also.
