The team that end at the 18th place are going to play against the victor of Toulouse - Grenoble game to be able to stay in the league. If they lose, then they will say goodbye to this league also and we will have another new team in the Ligue 1 in the next season.

Bad season for Dijon, they are out of the Ligue 1 and won't be able to play in the League next season. Dijon lost many of their matches this season and was only able to win 3 out of the 37 matches they have played, Dijon probably had a tough time in the Ligue 1. Their last match is against St-Etienne, which will  be tough for them to win. Although, the match is not an important one for Dijon, because winning it won't change their position. I think St-Etienne will win.

Besides Dijon, Nimes is also certain to be relegated this season after only being able to collect 35 points, even though in the last match Nimes won but still their points difference is far behind the 6 clubs above which are currently also competing to avoid relegation playoff, in my opinion, the last match bottom table in ligue 1 this season is quite interesting because there are still several teams that might accompany Nimes and Dijon to be relegated next season, of course the 6 teams will play like a final to avoid relegation, while waiting and Brest will be the same facing the team strong enough and Strasbourg vs Lorient will really destroy each other in order to secure their respective positions.

I only bet on the favorites as well (90%+ of the time) as well and I have been gambling for like 15 years now. Just because you have a system doesn't mean that you are a noob, some people like to purely gamble on the possible winners, if a favorite is a favorite for a reason then why not gamble for them. Sure if you see the favorite at 1.1 and the underdogs at 9 and you think underdogs has a better chance than 9.00 then you say "this is a good bet", I am not against that logic and I understand why others would do it, if you feel like it should be more like 1.7 to 2.9 instead of 1.1 to 9, then you go for that 9 and that makes sense.

However that doesn't force me to bet on the underdogs, the favorites are still favorites and I can still bet on them, even if it is not a good bet, and most of the time I will be right. That is how I have gambled for nearly 15 years now.

Everyone has his own style and methods but finding value in low odds takes more time with smaller ROI on the long run IMO. It's just more easy and quicker to find it in higher odds I think. But you missed my point, hayhay said it was a challenge to bet on the underdogs while it's a very common practice among bettors that's why I said it looks like a pretty rookie comment.

Nantes - Montpellier, a home win is possible indeed, odds are way in favor of Nantes.
Lorient - Strasbourg, at least one of them will end with 42 or 43 points which means that Nantes are required to just win its game to get away from relegation play-offs.
Besides, Brest has no chance vs PSG imo so again, Nantes has a chance to pass even with a draw.
Bordeaux will play vs Reims so max points for 1 of them will be 42-43, Nantes has to win to be classified above them.
Overall, for Nantes, win = escape relegation; draw = wait for Brest or Strasbourg or Lorient defeat. Even in case of losing its game, they have to play relegation play-offs which means they have so many chances to survive in Ligue 1

Absolutely. It has been a really interesting season so far. Following the competition between Lille and PSG for the title and these teams for staying in the league is really great. Absolutely. It has been a really interesting season so far. Following the competition between Lille and PSG for the title and these teams for staying in the league is really great. After many seasons, a team has fought hard for the title with PSG. We've only seen PSG dominate Ligue 1 for so many years. Other teams were far behind PSG in the points table. I think that the PSG leadership will offered a very good financial remuneration for Angers, that they would defeated Lille. But all in the hands of Lille, they are obliged to win. You can do, express bet at victory of Lille and the victory of PSG.

Maybe Angers have had good results against Lille so far. But now, Angers have no aim. And Lille are going to play the most important match for the championship. So I don't think that the head-to-head matches will have much importance here. Lille should be able to destroy them.

Regardless of those head-to-head statistics between Lille and Angers, I have a strong feeling that Lille will prefer even though they're playing away against Angers. Tomorrow's game isn't a regular Ligue 1 fixture for Lille, they have more at stake now and would do everything in their power to ensure that they win the title. Anything other than a win would hurt their title aspirations especially now that they're this close to winning the title that has been heavily dominated by PSG.

I also have no doubt that PSG will win brest with the hope that Lille would drop points. I don't see that happening.

I wonder which team among the six teams (Bordeaux, Strasbourg, Brest, Lorient and Nantes) will play a relegation playoff match against Toulouse. I see Brest as most likely to play in that game. Because their opponent are PSG.

Champion is determined this evening in France League 1. Lille will be Champion if they beat Angers. If they lose points, they will expect Paris SG to lose points. Tonight Paris SG does not lose points. I think the same for Lille.  That's why I think Lille will be the champion. They do not lose the Championship with the last game.

Well, after all the last stage matches became exciting matches like in other previous leagues. I didn't miss it to bet on these finals for Lille, PSG, Monaco, Lyon, Marseille and Rennes. I'm just sure they will continue to do well and the result of winning this final game is something that has to be achieved. Previously I thought that in the final match it looked like they would not play well but the fact is from the other leagues before, it turns out that they still have high spirits and with that, I am sure the Ligue 1 teams will continue to play aggressively in these final matches.

Lille is taking it seriously, they are leading with 2 goals vs Angers with 20 minutes left. PSG is leading also with 2 goals so it is early to say anything.
For the other games, Lyon's one is weird, Nantes temporarily out of the relegation play-offs
