Unlike you, I'm not sure at all about Enrique being successful in PSG. In fact, PSG had many superstar players in the last season they could help the team like Messi but they didn't have a good coach like Enrique in his team, Now when some players left PSG for the other teams, Enrique started working there but still I don't think if Enrique is enough to help PSG improve the team.
I think PSG still can't earn achievements in the Champions League.

I think the most important reason for Enrique to start working in PSG was the good performance he had before when he was working at Barcelona because other than that he couldn't have good performance during all these years. After Neymar's feud with Mbappe began, Mbappe made the club agree to sack Neymar and appoint Zinedine Zidane as manager. Luis Enrique is best as Zinedine Zidane's next choice. He has proved in several matches that he is a great manager. I don't think this team would have improved so much if any other manager had taken charge of this team in the situation of PSG team. Clermont is currently too weak a team to beat Nice, Struggling at the bottom of the table with hopes to leave the relegation zone before the league ends is a good level of weakness already exhibited, because they have played nine game already this season and they are able to get just five points keeping them just two points from the last position on the table, definitely they have had a really poor start this season.

Nice currently at the second position with good performance this season is a better side, Nice also have a better squad and dept as compared to Clermont so I almost don't see a chance for Clermont but then just like football will come with it's suprises at times, it's very much possible Clermont fights to get a draw as they will be playing from home, that advantage is all they have gat in this game.

talking about poor performance in domestic competitions actually for now, I think Lens is still a little better than seeing what happened with Lyon because they are the club that is the worst in the decline in performance if we do a comparison of this season with last season.

I do not understand what causes Lyon to be this bad, but it's definitely not something they should be proud of, it looks like they are doing quite terribly all year long and I am not really expecting them to do any better. Of course they could get a little better on the rankings a bit, but I think it's not really that easy to handle.

Clermont no had a chance in that match to get points, because Nice were unstoppable at the moment. Actually, if you look at the head to head record in the last 3 matches, Clermont is a great opponent for Nice, but this season Clermont performance is doubtful and cannot give me the confidence to choose them in that match. It is logical to assume that the team in second place from the top will win against the team in second place from the bottom  However, I am not surprised that the odds for Nice to win are almost 2 (1.95), apparently the bookmakers take into account that Clermont does not concede many goals as an outsider, and Nice has certain problems with performance. The danger that the game will end with the score close or equal to 0-0 is great.

Ok I guess we have a basis here that we both agree on, but just see that we have had some abnormalities recently when it came to teams that played weak in their domestic league while making big steps in international competitions. Yeah it is worrying to see Lens being near the relegation zone truthfully. They were amazing last season and stayed in the Ligue 1 title competition for a very long time. PSG were even able to finish only one point ahead of Lens which proves my point. But this huge change is pretty awkward to me. 

Their situation is so similar to Sevilla now, completely true. You know how strong Sevilla were in the La Liga until the 2021/22 season. They have nearly always been a part of top 4 at the end of a season. But now they are lost and trying to find themselves again.

I hope both of Lens and Sevilla can make good progress in their domestic leagues.

Well you're right, not many clubs in the French League are financially capable of getting top quality players that would come into their club and make a difference for them, there are only few clubs that are capable of doing that and that's why the competition in the league is amongst those few and even the clubs that work hard and try to get to the top end up not being consistent thre following season due to same financial issues with many clubs in the league.

Nice is indeed the only club that has not been beaten this season from the 9 matches they have played, and with the opponents they will face this time it looks like they will be able to continue that positive trend. But on the other hand I am quite worried about them, because they are also one of the clubs that have not too good goal productivity. Only being able to create 10 goals from 9 matches in my opinion is a problem. Although they are also the club with the best defense so far, but if they cannot be more productive in scoring goals it will make them difficult in the future. Internal politics is having deep causes for this all and if club management fail to settle things in near future then most chances we will have them relegated which could be surely the worst ever for the club and fans as well after 9 rounds they are not able to win any match and already having deficit of 11 goals which is surely not ideal for the team because now if we are able to check their fixtures list mostly they are having tough matches and with this look like they could be stayed at the bottom until new year and with this next round could be more terrible for them because having results like this most chances they could be not able to secure their survival and in last game they were not able to win match against another team at home which was also in relegation zone, so things are surely needed quick settlement.
