I wonder if this time it would be the Nice doing a similar work against PSG. It isn't a mission impossible considering PSG' inconsistencies.

nothing is impossible if Nice will try to maintain the top of the standings but it seems like a very difficult task because for now as long as PSG has its mainstay players it is quite easy to continue to get 3 points in every match even though it looks inconsistent but this is all because of the division of the schedule with UCL matches so little influence on matches in league 1.

Every season we have noticed that PSG perform well enough in their league but I know why even with a very good team they can't perform that well in the Champions League. In other seasons PSG team is stronger so PSG fans have more expectations from PSG in other seasons. Most of the players left the team this season so we didn't expect much from this team but PSG has been performing well this season even with a relatively poor team. PSG let us down in the early stages but they have been performing well this season. Despite a poor first few matches in League One, Real Madrid has been performing well in the Champions League since the beginning. Although Champions League performance is not understood in the group stage, Champions League performance is understood in the Super Sixteen. We must see how PSG can perform in the Champions League from the Super Sixteen.

Maybe it doesn't even need the 15 consecutive wins at the end of the season, but most importantly any team should not lose. That is apparently the first step into the right direction if a team aspires to win the title.
Arsenal lost 3 games in the last 6 games in the Premier League, including the head to head game with Manchester City and that led to Arsenal handing over the title to Manchester City.
Lens in contrast won their last 7 consecutive games last season, but game number 31 of the season was against PSG and they lost it 3-1 and that is when they sadly also lost the title. It is tough to win titles when there is one superior team in the league like PSG or Manchester City.

PSG team condition is a bit weak this season. PSG's attacking performance has deteriorated since Messi and Neymar left the team. PSG are now reliant on Mbappe in attack. And so teams like Nice and Monaco had the chance to hold on to the top of the table with consistent performances. If they don't make good use of this opportunity, we will see PSG as champions this season too. The Monaco team is quite strong. Monaco would have been top of the table now had it not been for the defeat against Lille in the last match. On the other hand Nice team is at the top of the table but I don't think this team is very strong. The team scored only 11 goals in 10 matches. Nice's forward players will need to perform better if they want to win the title.

This is why I was puzzled when PSG announced that they would buy Dembele from Barcelona. Dembele has amazing speed and dribblings, but his quality as a striker and also in giving assists is catastrophic. This was the case at Barcelona and now it is the same at PSG. He has played 12 games, scored 0 goals and gave 2 assists. For a player who is perceived as being a high quality player, this is definitely insufficient. He is playing on the right wing and my lord, just compare him to Salah. That guy is a real right winger. Dembele is fast and has great ball control, but he can do nothing with it, which makes it useless. I think Muani still needs some more time, but at least he scored 6 goals so far and also gave 2 assists. Lots of people are saying that Messi didn't play well for PSG last season, but he had a scorer point rate of 100% per game. This is obviously missing now and they are so much less dangerous despite having these ostensibly strong strikers.

The competition in Ligue 1 is almost the same as the Bundesliga, where there is only one club that always dominates every season, this season there has been an increase where other clubs have experienced an increase in performance which could threaten their dominance. Nice could stumble in future matches, and that makes perfect sense, but to overtake them at the top PSG must remain consistent in picking up points. If PSG is too ambitious in the UCL and focuses more there, then its rival clubs in Ligue 1 will take advantage of this opportunity to break their dominance.

I don't doubt PSG in Ligue 1, sooner or later they can top the standings again, especially now that they have only one point difference with Nice. But it is not impossible if other clubs can win trophies at the end of the season, meaning that the opportunity is still very open at the moment. I think the second half of the season will see a large difference, so that the standings board will be increasingly formed.

It's definitely premature to make judgments after only 10 games. I can see why people would want otherwise, but PSG definitely plays magnificent. Seeing their last five or six games, I can say that they have done wonderful, yes that terrible Newcastle loss shocked the world a bit, not because they couldn't lose, they could lose, but got dominated with big margins so it looked a little different and difficult for them.

I think it should be something that doesn't really look all that great, shouldn't really change much, and guessing that it would probably not be all that much of a big deal for them to overcome just one loss. League is wide open for them, they are way too good and I am sensing that they will keep being this good for a long time, doesn't seem like they have any competition.

In fact, the truth about PSG is they are in the good form and they are good enough players to win the French League easily but I think the main goal of the owner of this team is not the French League but it's all about winning in the ChmapniosLeageu which is much harder for Enriquet to achieve this goal with the current situation they have compared the other teams.

The PSG president always had the goal of winning a Champions League trophy, they tried a lot, spent a lot of money, made a lot of changes, but they never managed to win the Champions League trophy. When Neymar was in great form and Mbappe was a young rising star then PSG played in the UEFA Champions League final with the great combination of Neymar and Mbappe but unfortunately they were defeated by Bayern Munich and there ended their dream of winning the Champions League trophy. First they went to the Champions League final against Bayan Munich and that was their highest Champions League achievement then many players they recruited in their club but they didn't get the desired results either through any player or any manager. They are still trying to win just one Champions League trophy.
This season too, their efforts may fail because it is impossible to win the Champions League trophy with the team they have assembled now.

Currently Rennes is in 8th position with 12 points from 10 matches and what is quite surprising is that in the last 5 matches they have only won once. This is not business as usual and last week they also drew again against Strasbourg, even though it was a home game for them.

On the other hand, Rennes is the only team that has achieved the most draws so far with 6 draws and that is certainly quite detrimental because they will only collect 6 points out of 18 points if they win them all. The next match will also not be easy for Rennes because it will be against the current top team, namely Nice, and of course if they don't want to lose then it is likely that Rennes will try to hold Nice back to a draw in the away match.

Nice who will be the home team, will, of course, be predicted to be able to overcome Rennes to get 3 points and continue to lead the standings, and Rennes, who in 5 matches can only get 5 points, seems to be having difficulty getting up and performing well like last season because of the draw they have got more this season than last season, meaning they have lost a lot of points and it looks like they will lose points again in the match against Nice.
Interestingly, many of the meetings between the two teams ended in a draw and both teams managed to score goals. Rennes of course, tries to put pressure on Nice, but beating them is not easy because their opponent has not been defeated at home this season, and with Nice getting odds @ 2.12, it is quite interesting to try considering that the home team's chances of winning are quite large if we compare the current situation of the two teams.

While I don't necessarily want to label it as "nice" to win the trophy, I do believe that qualifying for UCL next season is a significant achievement, especially when considering that the team was considered middle tier last season. However, it's worth watching that the team has made substantial improvements recently. I hope nice can maintain its performance to be even more stable compared with the previous season. Nice looks like a good team this time. This club reminds me with stuttgart in the bundesliga.

 Well you're right,  PSG has more squad depth than Nice but in football it's not really about the squad depth or kind of players they have, if there's no good communication among the team on and off the pitch, it could bring alot of setback that would make them underperform, just like when both teams faced eachother previously, PSG has a lot of good players and better squad depth but Nice won them cause they communicated better amongst themselves to achieve the 3 points.

They have done incredibly well with their defense and I think that the decisive goal for them should be to keep focusing on the effectiveness of their defense. It won them the games, but since I didn't watch a lot of those games I also can't tell whether they have had a lot of luck as well in the first 10 games or whether all those results were performance based only. Because luck can fade and then things can quickly turn against them. They won't always win the games 1-0 and this is where their issue is. Once the defense can't hold up this strong performance in every game, there is no other way but to try and score more and this is something that often can't easily be changed or improved. Time will tell how this plays out for them.

It is quite worthy to bet on Nice with Odds @ 2.12, although there is still a possibility that the match will end in a draw result, but Nice on paper is much better than Rennes. So I wouldn't doubt to bet on Nice in this match.

PSG's detrimental beginning to the season undoubtedly hampered them this season, as Luis Enrique was on the edge of losing his job as head coach of Les Parisiens. I'm extremely pleased they're getting back to form, gradually winning games and emphasizing the importance of bouncing back. It's only a matter of time before Nice drops to second place in Ligue One. I'm astonished they're leading because they finished 9th on the table the previous season. I have no worries that PSG will be back in their place this season; they started poorly this season, but there is indication that the team is going to get better.
