It is clear that PSG odds are quite low because in this match PSG has home advantage plus they are not an equal opponent when facing Montpellier.

I agree with you. Paris St Germain have put a stop to their recent bad run and are now looking in great form. Mbappe's transfer news and his lack of leadership could be one of the reasons for the team's poor form. However, Mbappe is now back in form and back in charge of the team. PSG are not completely reliable in defense this season and they need to strengthen their defense for both the league and the Champions League. However, they have been able to keep their opponents off the score sheet in games where they are slightly ahead. Montpellier, on the other hand, like to play in wide areas and often create space. With this approach to the game, when they get forward they can find positions and create danger, but they can also leave gaps in the defense at the back. With home advantage, PSG will take full advantage of the opposition's weaknesses and will score at least 2 goals or more in this match.

In as much as it has been their biggest dream to win the UCL, I don't think this season is that right time for them. PSG is yet to be formidable against some big teams who are also present in the UCL, no doubts they have got good quality players currently but not the form

PSG may have to focus more on building their team this season and maybe by next season they may have that team that have got both the form and dept to stand against any team in the UCL and be sure to probably win the trophy, this will include the coach improving on his tactics and his relationship with his squad aswell, then the players may also have to further build that mentality of winning the UCL against any team they meet in the UCL.

I see PSG on the verge of missing out on the Champions League. Their play against Newcastle United begs the question of how well they could perform against more formidable opponents like Manchester City or Bayern Munich. Although I agree that the current form is unimpressive, there appears to be more to it. Their teamwork and tactical strategy appear to be the core of the problem. Even though I can appreciate the need for quick results, I think this season's emphasis should maybe be on creating a cohesive team instead. The reasons here appear to be a lack of a strong plan and possibly a mismatch between coaching goals and player output. It's natural that the odds for PSG are so small because apart from being the hosts, they will also face a weak team, Montpellier. I also feel that Luis Enrique's squad will be able to score more than 2 goals in this match and that's why victory for them is guaranteed so far. Even though last week they had quite a hard time against Brest, they were able to turn things around into a narrow victory.

But if I look at the handicap betting option it opens with (-1.25) with odds @1.50 and actually it is still a safe option to place a bet. This game against Montpellier should actually be a win for PSG although interestingly PSG is weaker at home than they are in away games, but the data is still thin as the season is young, but Montpellier is also doing relatively well away from home. I will be a game dominated by PSG, I think that is what everyone expects as their form is also on an uptrend.

PSG will try to win at home against Montpellier in order to get top position if Nice loses in the next match. Actually it is not something strange because after all, seeing from the current developments in terms of strength and h2h, PSG is definitely the favorite in today's match.
Especially for now they already have a slick record in the last few matches as well as playing home so odds like this are quite reasonable.
This will be another victory for PSG only I feel that this will still not be won easily. PSG will definitely dominate and keep the chances they have but their productivity problem could make this match difficult.

Well i think there's an improvement in their team they're currently begin to build a good chemistry and that's why their performance as improved, they got a very good squad that most top managers would love to manage however Luis Enrique needs to figure out which strategy is very easy for his players and perfect it instead of texting different strategies in each match and making errors in his squad rotation, they should be lucky that Mbappé didn't leave this summer if not it would've been more difficult for them since their top finisher is still figure how to adapt perfectly into their system.

Yes indeed, although PSG is always the favorite in every match in Ligue 1, but sometimes PSG also fails to win. PSG found a good opportunity this time, especially since they have a good record when they met Montpellier.
