To be honest, there are always doubts when I look at Paris Saint Germain, I don't mean to belittle them, but every time they are in the Champions League, I don't think they are fully ready to compete in the Champions League, especially when they rely on certain players, in this case Mbappe. Brest defeated Metz 4-3 and got an important 3 points. Both teams were in desperate need of this win.Metz are in the relegation zone and want to play for at least a play-off place to stay in the league.Brest needed a win to keep their place in the league.The points difference between their rivals is almost negligible and they can't risk it.Despite conceding a goal in the first minute, Brest were in complete control of the game as they closed the first half with a 3-1 lead.Although they managed to increase the difference to 3 in the second half, they conceded 2 goals in the last 15 minutes.

Brest vs Metz is really predictable because finally Brest can win this match but a bit surprised to see Metz performance because they can scores 3 goals and almost be equalized the scores but luckily Brest can able to managed their performance until the match ended and although it's hard but finally Brest can beat Metz and indeed Brest this season has been change because in Ligue 1 they were very strong even since November last year Brest only lost once and these results too makes them can able to gets runner up place under PSG

Next weekend Brest will playing at Lyon home ground and this is not easy match for Brest because although if we see from head to head statistics Brest is slighly better than Lyon but they shouldn't be underestimate Lyon because the performance of Lyon is really impressive recently and last week they has just win from Nantes and total in all competitions Lyon has through an 10 matches and gets 7 wins and only lost once so for me these records is really impressive and i think certainly Lyon potentially will make Brest get in trouble even there is a chance for Lyon to beat them

You know Brest is a team that has been constantly surprising me this season. They are on the second position right now and they are playing pretty consistently.

If I talk about the last match they played against Metz it was an interesting one. Brest looked to be the better team hands-down in this match. But that was expected because they were going up against a team that is right now in the relegation zone. Though Metz is in the relegation zone but you can't ignore them, they scored the first goal within 6 minutes of the match start. A team like Brest trailed after only 6 minutes, in their home ground can you imagine that?

Yes, at the end of the match, they actually made some mistakes defensively and given the chance to their opponent to score two goals that they could have prevented. But they were able to make sure that they got the most important three-point.

You have stated the facts about PSG and I admit it. Every season all the teams in Ligue 1 continue to try to stop PSG's dominance in winning the title, but this plan is ultimately very difficult because the PSG squad is really good at being consistent with its performance. Brest has been utilizing there opportunities very well on this season because they always make sure they try the way they can in other to make sure they remain ahead of there lower teams on the table, though there match against Metz was not a big match for them because Metz has been one of the smallest club on this league which is currently at the second to the bottom of the table so there is no way we can expect a club like that to easily win Brest when we no that Brest and Monaco is currently fighting for the second position of the table. However I think Brest is very lucky considering there upcoming matches because is not going to be too tough on them.

Monaco's match against Rennes was marked by red cards for each team and even though they had difficulty dealing with pressure from Rennes, Monaco managed to maintain a narrow 1-0 lead until the match was over. To be honest, I didn't expect that both teams played quite hard in this match, but here Monaco must secure full points if they don't want their place in the top four to be replaced by another team.

You are so right about Kylian Mbappe. He is one of the few best football players playing right now. Paris, on the other hand, has managed to keep him in its squad for a long time.
