In the most important match of the week, it was Lille who won.Lille took the 3 points by defeating Lens 2-1 at home and moved into 3rd place with more than a game in hand.2 There was a 1 point difference between the 2 rivals before the match and we knew that the winner of this match would take a step forward.Lille played better with the advantage of being the host and won the match.Lille, who won the match with 2 goals scored by Zhegrova, is now waiting for their rivals to lose points.Lens will want to finish at least in the top 6 of the league, but I don't know if they can succeed because there is a tight race between the teams and the points are very close to each other.

Even though Lens lost, I'm pretty sure they can still get a place in European competition. It's free without having to stress where they have to go, but at least if they want to get it, they have to finish in 6th position or better because the competition will not be easy and continues to get crazy every week.

The defeat against Lille is enough to make it difficult for Lens to manage their steps for the rest of the season and they cannot afford to lose again ahead of next week and of course this defeat can provide an important lesson for them so as not to lose any more points. I don't think there is anything that makes Lille extraordinary just because they managed to beat Lens because after all, in this match also that Lille played at home and that Lille also has a good head to head record against Lens. The first place will definitely be occupied by Paris Saint Germain, but the second place is still a question mark, because the point gap between them is not too far and as usual they are not consistent, so there are still many possibilities that will happen at the end of the season. who could actually occupy second place.

Now Monaco can occupy that place, but they also only have a distance of 3 points from Brest which is right below them, followed by LOSC which only has a distance of 4 points from Monaco. For the team that will probably finish in second place I believe it is Monaco, not only because Monaco is currently in second place but yes, purely because I am more confident that Monaco will be able to finish in second place. Not only that, because when Brest was still in second place and had the opportunity to compete with PSG at the top of the standings, but at that time I also believed that Brest was still not strong enough to be able to compete with PSG in the top standings. In fact, to finish in second place too, I really doubted Brest at that time but anyway, the reality was true because Brest failed to maintain its position in second place because it was overtaken by Monaco. I'm really impressed with the kind of results AS Monaco got from the match against Metz tonight, it really showed a great level of superiority in their league a.d even others would aswell watch.inaco closely when they have got a fixture with them, they would  make sure to be very careful as to not be carefree with their tactics and get to loose the game by the end of the match because they now look like one of the top teams.

Metz was actually dominated by Monaco very much in this game that they only stared to get their goals in the second half of the game as all through they first half it was only Monaco who was able to get goals and were able to lead which they later win with the lead. Winning with such margin shows so much strength from Monaco and also they did not just win but had a very brilliant performance where they were able dominate the whole game from the first hald till the end of the game. Meta is actually not a really tough team but in their capacity they tried well enough to get two goals .

Monaco is now ten point away from PSG as they have got 49 points and PSG has got 59 points on the table, it's quite a far distance but they still have got some form of possibilities to still close the gap but that will be if PSG losses their games and are not really winning but then even at that they still have got enough points ahead that Monaco cannot just displace them even if they are given the opportunity.

Yes, we have to be aware that Lille has been improving a lot, and that is very good because basically at least when I watch Ligue 1 and see that PSG continues to dominate, I hear that the other teams do not have an Improvable performance , because the PSG now has many flaws, Vulnerabilities, it is time for them to make a Difference , so Given these things we see that PSG no longer has the same strength as before, Lille now has to give everything they have to be able to do things very good at UCL. Lille go third in Ligue 1 after derby win over Lens

Edon Zhegrova scored in each half for Lille as they beat derby rivals Lens 2-1 to move up to third place in the French league.

The Kosovan winger got the opening goal after nine minutes when he superbly controlled a long ball from Nabil Bentaleb and fired a low shot into the corner from 15 metres out.

Lille is one of the best now, for me things always have to do with whoever does things best, Lille has earned its position and that is something they cannot deny, in fact if they win a game they could be fighting for 2nd place, then things can be very good for them if they put their mind to it, of course it is very difficult for them to reach PSG, I like the spirit they are putting into it, I think things will turn out much better for them this way, because a 2nd place is more synonymous with respect, not everyone who reaches 2nd place can lead to the next season doing less work and fighting for 1st place.

That was an easy win for Monaco to achieve when they visited Metz's headquarters. Yes, since this match hasn't started yet, we can already predict that Monaco will be able to win because the difference between them and the home team is very large, the home team is in the relegation zone. while they are in 2nd place in the standings.
