PSG's position at the top of the standings can no longer be disturbed by other teams in Ligue 1 because by collecting 56 points it can be ascertained that the league trophy and also one Champions League ticket are theirs, the competition at PSG has actually long ended in the fight for rank 1 and as usual PSG remains firmly at the top of the standings, currently an interesting competition only occurs between ranks 2 and 6 in the standings in grabbing the remaining two automatic tickets to qualify for the Champions League and also One playoff ticket.

Well poor formation of the club has resulted in this team dropping down to around 5th. PSG still remains very dominant of the league and is leading the league with over 10 points with about 12 matches to go to end the league. This is one reason why this league is considered a farmers league because the competition to throw off psg as league champions isn’t there.

 This season we are throwing our light there as we’re having one interesting competition of who will be going to the UCL next season happening there. We can see how the teAms between 2nd to 5th are having similar points. This is the kind of competition we wish would be happening between league leaders PSG And other clubs to end it’s dominance but it’s quite impressive as it’s a step in the right direction. One thing the clubs must do is after this kind of challenge, they should brace themselves up for next season as they can be able to deal with PSG and challenge for the title.

 For the battle for the UCL spot it’s quite a fierce one and I have my predictions on who will join. I also have to say that the teams after getting the ticket, they should endeavor on building a great squad that will be able to challenge in that competition. The teams that are good to go through are Brest and either Monaco or Lille. Either Monaco or Lille or both of them will be great participants of the UCL next season and they have the experience too and I hope them being in the Ucl Will be a boost for them to build a great squad next season. As building a great squad will also help them to challenge Psg for the league title next season.

Monaco trying to secure their chance for the Champions League with things are going most chances they will be stayed at the second or third spot which is surely good for them even still things can go either way because we have mostly of top teams struggling near the end of the season, but their performance is relatively better their win against Strasbourg was hard fought, but they are able to have three points which is good job, and now they are going to face another relegation zone team which is surely not easy team because their performance is also on better improvement.

Monaco is trying to maintain their position in the standings to qualify for the Champions League and currently their position is not very comfortable because they are only three points behind Lille. Even though Monaco's performance continues to improve, if Monaco is not consistent then the opportunity for them to be chased by Lille is quite open because Lille's performance is almost the same as Monaco, where their last five matches have had the same results.

Lille will face Brest after facing a match in the European league and they must try to play for victory or at least the match must end in a draw. Because if they lose, Monaco will be in a more advantageous condition because the points difference will be much greater.

Consistency is needed to enable them to maintain their current position, because the distance between them and the teams below them is still quite close and that poses a real threat to Monaco. LOSC and Lens are below them with only a 3 point difference. If Monaco falls even once then it is very possible that they will be moved from their current position in the standings.
Actually, at the moment they are not completely consistent, it's just that it can be covered by other teams who are also experiencing the same thing, if there were a team that was more consistent I think they probably wouldn't be in this position now. Every match before the end of the season will be very determining for their position.

Considering that the first 3 teams will be given UCL rights, it is obvious that there will be a race for second and third place among the teams other than PSG. Brest, Monaco, Lille, Lens, Nice and Marseille are the teams in this race with a few points difference. I think filling the 2-team quota will be for the two strongest and most consistent teams from here. Stability will be very important in the remaining matches. Currently, Brest and Monaco have an advantage, but this situation may change at any time.

 See, my words yesterday came true today where PSG managed to be held to a draw by Reims even in today's match and even PSG must be willing to fall behind first with a goal at the beginning of the first half scored by Munetsi in the 7th minute.

As I said before Reims' counter-attacks are quite fast and if PSG don't pay too much attention to that then they will be troubled because indeed the speed on both sides of the Reims attack is always troublesome for their opponents.
This should be a situation where the match is used as a lesson by PSG because even though their individual skills and strength are superior, in the end they still have many gaps that can be penetrated by the opposing club including when PSG tries to control the rhythm of the attack which makes them unaware of their defense having problems in the match.
A score of 1 point when playing home and when PSG is the favorite in my opinion it is an adverse condition but it is still quite fortunate that they did not lose points in today's match.

PSG was held to a 2-2 draw by Reims and this is a big setback especially in the club’s performance as their performance isn’t in the best stage at the moment. This performance isn’t seen as Psg’s best as you can see how they struggled in this match. When comparing both teams, you’ll see that Psg is very clear off Reims but that didn’t show in the way they performed in that match. As in that match PSG struggled to keep up with the game plan of Reims and were Lucky to earn a draw. This is their 3rd straight domestic draw and this doesn’t speak well of the team as this could have easily landed them under pressure if they were not over 10 points clear the 2nd on the log.

 I think PSG has to up their game especially as we now see how the coach is trying to play without Kylian, so as to let the team get used to they style. Kylian was rested after scoring the 2 goals for the club during midweek UCL win against Real Sociedad which saw PSG able to go through with an aggregate score of 4-1. PSG fell off due to an error from Hakimi and that was an early goal that started the dent on the team’s performance yesterday. PSG gave some goals and were also gifted some but in all what was very noticeable was the way they pressed as a team and they couldn’t just get it right to go 12 points clear. Though Brest who are their closest challenger fell to a 1-0 loss, this means all is well as regarding the title.

Yeah thats true, even though the match ended in a draw it was still a setback because it was detrimental that they played home with strong determination but couldn't take full points against a club whose quality was far behind them .

Even if this still wont shake their dominance in Ligue 1 and the trophy race but still things like this should be more minimized because in any case a draw or loss for PSG in Ligue 1 is a bit outrageous even though we are aware that in a season and in every match defeat and victory is a natural thing but still for me it is quite disturbing .

Their performance is  not much different in every match because after all they still have a very strong dominance for a club in the game on the field, its just that sometimes there are some small problems such as in finishing and defense that is sometimes weak which is difficult for them to change until now.

During the last games, Le Havre had a bad performance and recently they won the game against Toulouse after weeks of bad results in this team. But I don't think if this can be a good reason to say Le Havre can win other games they are going to have against teams like Clermont Foot even if we all know Clermont Foot is a team on the downside of the French Leaguean they are the last team with the worst result they could ever get.
Clermont Foot got only 17 points so far in all 25 games we saw from this team during this season and in the last five games they had, they lost three games and they had two draws. That's why Maybe that's a wise move to bet on Le Havre for this match.

I prefer to bet on other match beside this one, the last time Le Havre won in away match/league was happening back in Nov 2023 and Clermont also never win again at home since Nov 2023.
If you want to bet on Le Harve, perhaps it will be wise using asian handicap. In that way, you will not lose anything if the match ends with a draw.

After all, previously Le Havre was also in the relegation zone with 24 points, however, the victory that Le Havre got against Toulouse meant that Le Havre managed to get three points and moved its position up and out of the relegation zone. Therefore, I think Le Havre also does not have better quality than Clermont for the nextmatch. So yes, basically Le Havre is just a promoted team and that still won't make it easy for Le Havre to beat Clermont later. In the 26th match week, As Monaco will host a match against Lorient. If we refer to the standings, the two teams have quite a significant gap. Now, Monaco is one point different from Berst. if Manaco is able to win the match at home, and Brest ends up drawing against Lille or losing. That means, Manaco will shift the ranking occupied by Brest which is in 2nd place.

Well, this fight will continue. if Manano produces a minor match or loses against Lorient, then Lillie will have the same points as AS Monaco. but if it's the other way around, that means Monaco's chance is big enough to shift the runner-up position in Ligue 1. Well, I'm still confident that Monaco will overtake Brest's position and stay in second place in the Ligue 1 standings. So, to be sure, we'll wait for the match  this was held.

Breath has got a very good chance at the second position of the table, this is actually if they keep up with their performance a d making sure to back it with some winnings streeks, breast is ten points away from PSG and also a point away from Monaco which means PSG is safe at the top but breast isn't at their second position so they literally need to work hard enough to get to strengthen their position by further broadening the gap between them and their immediate rival, I'm very hopeful Brest gets to finish second against Monaco who's just a point away from them at the third which means Monaco can actually displace breast if breast slacks.

Lillie is right behind Monaco too at the fourth position with hopes of possibly getting to the third position but then they all have equals chances at finishing top four and be able to still qualify for the champions league next season which will definitely be an achievement for them because participating in such elite league has been the dream of some of the other teams in the Ligue 1 aswell so for those who got it, it's an achievement.

Le Havre had been struggling to win for 6 weeks. Yesterday, Le Havre managed to end their 6-week winless streak with a one-goal victory against Toulouse. Le Havre certainly deserved the win as they played a better game compared to their opponents.
In the meeting of 2 teams in the relegation zone, the winner was Metz. Metz are in a race with their rivals and they want to make the most of their chance to stay in the relegation zone. With this win they managed to take 2 steps ahead of their opponent.

To be honest, there is a significant gap between Clermont and Havre and this is too big for clermont to achieve it. Speaking of odds, Havre's odds are very good for betting causes by it's offering biger odds and it's also even stronger compared to the clermont. The fact that if clermont rare won this season, it is obvious that betting on havre makes more sense than clermont, even if the game is away for havre and this is also the point. Brest and Monaco must try to maintain their position in the top three, there are fewer matches remaining and we will see PSG win the trophy again this season.

We have 4 spots for the Ligue 1 in Champions League one is already fixed for the PSG and other three are going to have interesting fight till end because French League is unpredictable with things can take any change as few weeks back we have Nice at the second spot and this was sure they are going to stay here until end of this season but suddenly now they are going down and have no chance for fight back Lens is doing impressive job for another season in the top four, and we already have Brest at the second spot and Monaco at the third spot.

But nothing is still sure who is going to stay because Marseille is also doing good job, and they can also jump into these spots and Lille is also had good run even they are not good as needed for the Champions League but still all is unpredictable about the three spots who are going to be spotted it's going to be happened at the end.

Lille, Monaco, Brest and Lens are likely to be fighting for the remaining places to get tickets to the UCL and UEL next season and for Nice I'm not sure if the team can improve its performance again after running out of steam and now it's time for the popular teams to appear even stronger.
Marseille may have a chance too but not too big, unless it is able to continue to maintain 3 points in the remaining matches to come but to get past Lens will not be an easy job.

They will play against an important team today. I think it makes sense to rest some players in order to compete better in their match against Nice. PSG is a strong team and their rotation players are strong enough to win the match. I think they will eliminate Nice in the cup match today and advance to the next round. They eliminated Real Sociedad and their other goal is to win the UCL. Even though the chances are low, they still exist.

We haven't seen who the opponents they will face in the quarter-finals are, but what is clear is that the opponents they will face are much stronger than the opponents they faced in the round of 16. With facts like that, it is very clear that they have to prepare themselves as best as possible before playing their match in the Champions League quarter-finals. They can do rotations in Ligue 1, because in Ligue 1 they are quite safe and they can avoid the risk of injury by resting some of their players for the Champions League matches.

Every season, winning the Champions League is the main target for Paris Saint Germain, but unfortunately they always fail. They are not that strong when competing in the Champions League which is occupied by the best teams from the top leagues in Europe, so their task is not like in Ligue 1 where they can dominate the league freely. Yes, that makes more sense because qualifying for the top 8 of the Champions League means that Enrique has to wisely manage his top players to get more rest without expending too much energy to avoid the risk of injury and this effort was made by Enrique because I remember the coach's goal was to try to help PSG to Winning the Champions League trophy this season even though the chances are not very big, Enrique is just trying his best with all the strategies he uses.
It's impossible for a club to just rest its best players without using them to defend the title unless there is a drama like last time, but I think a drama like that won't happen again this season because Enrqiue is really passionate about bringing PSG to the Champions League trophy.

Correct but I have mentioned it before that I don't think it is always the best decision to rest your top stars. Players like Mbappe need the games, they need the goals to feel comfortable and ready. Too much rotation and too much time on the bench might not necessarily lead to the desired effect that it makes a player stronger and more thrilled for the games to come. Think about it: if a player has a run and is scoring one or two goals every game, would it definitely be smart to start giving that player breaks all the time? In my opinion it might not be the best solution. These guys want to break records, but if they are sitting on the bench, it can destroy their excitement to break potential records because the coach robs them of the time they would need to do it. Ronaldo would have freaked out if a coach had decided to let him sit on the bench when he was in his mid 20s at Real Madrid.

Every season, winning the Champions League is the main target for Paris Saint Germain, but unfortunately they always fail. They are not that strong when competing in the Champions League which is occupied by the best teams from the top leagues in Europe, so their task is not like in Ligue 1 where they can dominate the league freely. In my opinion, their mentality in the Champions League is still not very well formed, because one of the factors that will influence a team's game is mentality.

The ability to win league games and even dominate in the league is no longer in doubt from PSG, even often for us to know the Ligue 1 champion without having to wait for the season to end, PSG's capacity as a big team in Ligue 1 makes them win the league too easily and even relatively without getting much resistance from other teams like now where PSG only needs a few more games and victories to celebrate the championship.

PSG's greatness in the league is actually inversely proportional to their achievements in the champions league which we can say is quite bad so far, PSG best achievement in the champions league is only limited to reaching the final in 2020 without being able to bring the Champions League trophy to France, after these achievements we have not even seen if PSG is able to reach the semifinals so far,  True, mentality is the main reason for their failure in the Champions League, the league is not competitive and also the lack of competition certainly forms a strong mentality above weak teams, but it is weak when they face strong teams in Europe.

Marseille is having their positive outbreaks. They just started another winning streaks of three games in a row, but last time they did it when they recovered from the bad start into the season, it was followed by another few weaker games. But Lens and Lille have shown some weaker games and now I think Marseille is looking at the UEFA competitions again. It was out of the question that they could reach it when they were still at the bottom of the table and nobody understood what was going on with them. But now they have got a good number of games left and I think everything is possible again.

They are still playing against Lille, Nice and Lens, which means they can make these teams drop more points and the Champions League qualification phase position on rank 4 is possible again.

Yeah have you seen the improvement in Aubameyang's performance since Jean-Louis Gasset's starting to manage the team? He also started to be fired up after this change and scored 8 goals in his last 5 games. 

On the other hand I know a new manager is usually motivating the team to play much better for a while. This is seen at so many teams in the world. We will find out if Gasset will really make difference for Marseille in the long run. Nice could be the next team to replace their manager shortly.    Francesco Farioli might be really likely to get sacked if we see this horrible form much longer. I wonder what their main goal was to achieve in the league this season.

Lille, Monaco, Brest and Lens are likely to be fighting for the remaining places to get tickets to the UCL and UEL next season and for Nice I'm not sure if the team can improve its performance again after running out of steam and now it's time for the popular teams to appear even stronger.
Marseille may have a chance too but not too big, unless it is able to continue to maintain 3 points in the remaining matches to come but to get past Lens will not be an easy job.

For now Monaco is more on a better chance to compete with Brest on the second position because they both have a very close points unlike Lille and Lens that still have like 3 points lower than Brest and Monaco, although anything is possible because it all depends on there efforts and courage, so if they put more focus on there matches they could raise there points and compete for the second position, however on the 17th Brest will be meeting Lille and in as much as Lille is on the lower position than Brest but there meeting is not always easy on Brest because I remember how there last match went, Brest losing against Lille and also the way I'm looking at it Brest make not likely last longer on the second position because they seem to have decreased in performance lately because even Lens won them on there last meeting, so I believe that very soon the second position will fall among Monaco, Lille or Lens because they are of good performance than Brest right now.

The arrival of Jean-Louis Gasset has had a significant impact on the Marseille squad and especially for Aubameyang, we see him becoming a productive striker again. In almost every match since being led by Jean-Louis Gasset, Aubameyang has always been able to score goals and that can increase his confidence in the attack line. We can only hope that Marseille will not change coaches again and this season and next will still rely on Jean-Louis Gasset as a tactician.

Regarding Nice, I have run out of patience with this team and have repeatedly had my bets ruined when betting on them. Francesco Farioli is no longer fit to handle Nice and even though he managed to bring Nice into the dome of competition, unfortunately it couldn't last long and it would be very worrying if Nice was passed by one by one the teams below them. Fans should start pressuring him so that the club management immediately considers firing him.
