So far in all the games we saw from Lyon during this season, they were the most unpredictable and unstable team in the French League and it's too hard to say if they will lose to win the next game they are going to have against Reims.
In the first weeks of this season, Lyon was the worst team in the French league and they failed even the easiest games against weaker teams while were predicted to see them win. Even I remember people were predicting them getting relegated at the end of the season but they changed a lot and now Lyon is in the 10th place of the tale with 34 points they got in 26 games which is not bad compared to the situation they had before.
Now Lyon should play against Reims and both teams are near in the league, while in the last five games Lyon had, they won four games which is amazing for this team.

I agree about the Lyon, but one thing is positive as in first 16 games they have only 3 wins and as things were going mostly were prediction they are going to stay in danger zone for the long time, but suddenly we have big change and in last 10 games we have 7 wins from them with 3 loses, and they are improving after every match in last five games they have 4 wins and 1 lost which bring them to the top in performance for the last 5 rounds which is amazing.

With this performance now I am having feeling most chances they will be able to stay into top half of the league table which could be good end for them after staying into relegation zone for the all first half of the season with their defense is still one of the worst with conceding 40 goals into 26 games, and they need to fix this problem which are surely going to hurt them in future as well.

Compared to other clubs, I think Lyon is one of the clubs that has shown quite good improvement. They were bad at the start of the season, but after they made a few changes, they were slowly able to find their best game, and that became a new hope for them, because at least they could still provide competition in the middle of the standings. The opportunity for them to continue to improve their position is also still quite open considering that the distance between the teams in points is not too far now and looking at the number of matches available, that is a sufficient number for them to be in an even better ranking.

But I myself wouldn't expect much, because seeing them show improvement is also a good thing. What is more important is that they must be able to maintain what they are showing now, because if they decline again in performance it will relegate them to a position that is no better in the standings. So they must be able to ensure they will be able to maintain their consistency in the game.

Yes we all have no doubt how PSG which was previously only a small team transformed into a giant team after Nasser Al-Khelafi bought PSG in 2011, and now it seems that there is no season without a title for those who continue to dominate Ligue 1, but honestly for now I don't think Ligue 1 is an example of a league that can be an inspiration for anyone.  Because indeed we do not find any fierce competition in the league, I think for a team like PSG of course it is not difficult to achieve all their targets in the domestic league but not with European competition which has looked very difficult for them so far.

It doesn't have of fierce competition in Ligue 1 certainly will not make PSG have a fighter mentality when they have to play in the Champions League, we can even see for ourselves how Messi and Neymar managed to lead Barcelona to win the Champions League when they were still with Barcelona, and at that time Barcelona was certainly not as rich as PSG but their mentality has been very tested in the league because it competes with Madrid,  Atletico and other strong teams so they have no trouble when they have to face other teams in the Champions League, while PSG even failed to win when Messi, Neymar and Mbappe played together, because indeed their mentality has only been tested with mediocrity clubs such as Rennes, Reims and Toulouse so far so that when meeting with teams from other leagues it is clear their mentality will down,  so that's why PSG can't get the Champions League trophy so far.

Brest have played some bad games this season, but I can say that they put up a good fight. Brest will go into the Lille game with a high level of concentration after their defeat against Lens. However, I can say that they do not inspire confidence in defense. Their opponents in this match are PSG, who are pressing the game and they have a very difficult task. The hosts Montpellier may not earn points by playing a closed football. But they can surprise if they play an up tempo game. 3 goals or more would be a good choice in this match.

Indeed Brest has put up a good fight this season to become were they are on the table but the truth is that staying on that position more longer is not certain because the competition on that position is getting stronger and in as much as Brest is on the second position of the table there are still other teams which are more stronger than them, so for now it only takes consistency for them to remain on the second position till the end of the season, I'm not saying that Brest is not on a good shape but what I'm saying is that there are more other teams that could possibly overtake them on the second position. So I wouldn't say they have the upper chance of wining there match against Lille because the last time they meet Lille they lost the match on the home of Lille so the probability of wining Lille on this match is not certain.

In the French Soccer League today, Lens vs Nice two team match, Nice team won the match by scoring 3 goals. Lens team lost today's match due to the poor performance of Lens team players. Lens team could not score any goals before halftime. However, they scored 1 goal in 76 minutes. The game  Before the start I thought this match might be a draw but Lens team played very well for which Lens team won the match by 3 goals.

They clearly couldn't capitalize despite controlling the game and pushing hard. Watching them control the play and unleash attack after attack, nothing. It questions their strategy's efficacy when it counts. Finally, Nice counterattacks, turning the game around. It's aggravating. Football is cruel if you can't score more goals than your opponent, no matter how well you play. The only statistic that matters is goals, which is a hard lesson
Overall, this result changes Lens' top-four chances. After this defeat, staying in the top four becomes harder. But Nice's triumph gave them a chance. Unfortunately, this league requires consistency, therefore both teams must improve to secure their berths. The season will end intriguingly, especially with Marseille and Lille also entering. Because of the small points margin, every match and goal matters

Yesterday it was as I thought.I expected both Nice and Strasbourg to win.Strasbourg scored in the 3rd minute to take an early lead.Nantes equalised with Eray Cömert in the 35th minute but Emegha scored 2 goals in the second half and Strasbourg won the match 3-1.Strasbourg increased their points to 29 after this win while Nantes remained on 25 points.This win was important for Strasbourg.
Lens lost points in a very important match by losing 3-1 against Nice, which they hosted at home.Although Nice started the league well, they had been performing poorly in recent weeks.I expected a reaction in this match and so it happened.They won away against an important opponent and with this win they managed to move one above their opponent.

It's true that last night was the turning point for Nice in achieving victory and they did it against Lens. The score was beyond expectations because this time he was able to score 3 and in contrast to the usual score of only being able to score 1 winning goal. It seems they know that a thin lead will not be able to secure a chance of victory, so they have improved it in the attack sector to make it more productive.

On the other hand, hosts Lens had to stop their winning trend in front of the fans and they failed to overtake Nice in the standings and with this victory put Nice 1 point ahead of Lens. I think the competition in the top 4 will be even more tense considering the difference between several teams is very thin.


Another ongoing match between Brest vs Lille is also a competition for the top 4 where Lille will be quite depressed if they lose this week to Brest and it is possible that next week we will see several teams fighting each other to get that place. The score is still tied at 0-0 in the first half and let's see what happens at the end of the match.

The Ligue 1 has become like a toy for PSG I'm afraid. As there is no other team as rich as PSG in the league it is really too difficult to compete hard against them. Lille were an exception in the 2020/21 season and they fought really incredible for the league title. There is Monaco example 4 years before that one too. But since like the 2012/13 season PSG have been in dominance with 9 titles.

As winning the league title is really easy for PSG their ultimate goal is to win a Champions League title for the first time in their history. They have played in the finale the most so far. But can they do this before Mbappe leaves the team? I really have big doubts.

After such a bad run without a win there wasn't much hope that Nice would be able to beat Lens, but they did and matched Lille on points, but since Lille is significantly superior to Nice in terms of goals scored they remain in fourth place. All teams from Lens to Monaco have a good chance of being in the Champions League zone, and I even expected that since Nice is not in the best shape right now, Lens would be able to beat them and push Lille.

By the way, Monaco and Marseille still have a game in hand, so Monaco can even move Brest out of second place. But PSG still remain out of reach, and also have a game in hand.

Mbappe to Madrid is great and all, but he will have to be playing striker there, and as we have seen in the last 2 seasons when Messi and Neymar was here and Mbappe played striker, he doesn't "like" it, doesn't mean he can't, he can still play there, and he is playing there at times even this year, I am not saying he will be bad there, he will be quite good there.

I am just saying, it is not his preference, if you gave him the option then he would prefer left attacking winger, he will still be around the goal, but he will be at the left side of it. Striker is a central position, and doesn't have a side, whichever side attack comes from, he will be forced to be there, including right side, which he dislikes.

If there is a striker who is most suitable for Real Madrid after Cristiano Ronaldo, it will be Mbappe. We have no doubts about Mbappe's football skills, he is undoubtedly the best player and Mbappe is the best striker out there. Mbappe has excellent finishing skills and Mbappe always plays at his best. When Mbappe left PSG to join Real Madrid, Mbappe's performance will increase and he will become more dangerous. Maybe we can get from Mbappe the kind of performance that Cristiano Ronaldo did for Real Madrid. Mbappe is always the right and best player for real madrid that's why real madrid waited for mbappe for years and finally real madrid managed to sign mbappe.

Everything requires a process and several other clubs just need to give confidence to investors to provide large funds and be able to compete with PSG and for now PSG will temporarily continue to dominate League 1 and that won't be a big problem but it will be boring.
In fact, the opportunity for another club lies with Monaco, which is currently still consistent even though it still loses when competing with PSG.
For the future in the CL, PSG is actually currently having a bit of difficulty when they have to face Barcelona who have more experience in the CL and in my opinion, if PSG is successful in the round of 8, they will definitely fail in the semi-finals when they get a stronger opponent, unless PSG gets lucky. can beat stronger clubs.

there is no doubt that whatever happens PSG can always dominate league 1 and everyone knows what makes PSG always dominate the title in league 1 and this is all supported by the team's enormous wealth which supports being able to get more quality players compared to other teams in league 1.
currently it looks very strong after the arrival of several great players and also had star players but in the end PSG always failed to get the UCL title so PSG biggest goal is just to get the UCL title because getting the league 1 title is not an achievement to be proud of and this is also one reason is that sometimes management is inconsistent and has more ambition to always look for a new coach to be able to bring PSG to win the title in the UCL, but for me this is a very wrong way to not retain one coach to provide the opportunity to get a strategy to get the title in the UCL.

I just want to see after this when they fail in the UCL again whether PSG management will fire Enrique or keep him and if PSG management keeps Enrique, I think it is a good start to winning the UCL title in the future.

But infact we both know, because Clermont managed to get three points at home match this time with the finalscore are 2-1. But atleast, what was also a surprise was that Clermont second goal occurred when Clermont only played with 10 players in the first half but yes, Clermont managed to maintain the victory until the match ended. Butindeed, it seems like Le Havre also played badly in this match, because Le Havre got the advantage in the advantage of the number of players but Le Havre did not manage to make a reply goal in the second half, instead Le Havre also played 10 player after in the 66th minute Oussama Targhalline also received a red card. When talking about Ligue 1 and the dominance of PSG, it will never end because it will always be like that, it's just that for now with their safe condition in Ligue 1 it looks like Enrique wants to try more things for bigger competitions and the Champions League is now the only reference for them.
Now with slightly different conditions at least PSG in the Champions League is a little better because in the previous 2 seasons they could only be in the round of 16 but for this season there is an increase where they qualify and are in the quarter-finals.

The problem is that the quarter-finals this time are filled with some very strong clubs and different from last season so there is still no guarantee that PSG can qualify easily for now.
In the quarter finals they will face Barcelona and it will certainly be interesting because after all apart from the big game this is the first time Enrique and Dembele will face their former club considering they were at Barcelona before which makes it even more interesting to watch.

Lyon got another win yesterday, and that is now 4 in the last 5, and they are at 10th place as well. I am not saying it would be possible, but it could be possible for them to finish in the first seven too, they are only 5 points away and if they keep this up it could happen.

I feel like the most important part is that if they played the first 10 games of the season like this as well then they could have been fighting for a title by now, look at them since they got better and you will see that they are doing good enough to be around the top, maybe not be as good as PSG obviously but definitely guaranteed a second place without a doubt. I think it's quite clear that we are going to see them do a lot better which should be the key.
