In modern day football, every club needs to spend big in signing quality players in other to remain competitive and that's what many of the French clubs have failed to do in recent years. If i am not mistaken Metz is promotion team and their target is want to survive at Ligue 1 but their situation were difficult because 6 wins from 26 matches is showing their performance is completely messed up even in my opinion Metz and Clermont most likely will be relegated to Ligue 2 and for Monaco i have been discuss about this before because this season Monaco has interesting statistics because while other teams usually very strong to playing at their home but Monaco was different this because their away matches statistics is more good compared to their statistics at home and so far Monaco only lost twice from away matches and gets 7 wins so although Monaco performance this season is not too consistent but i am sure they can gets easy win from Metz and the bookmakers provide odds @1.64 for Monaco win

The whole world was actually quite hyped about that trio, but there were a few things missing, Messi played decently there is no argument there, Mbappe was great as always, but Neymar was missing for a while, and that was not good, because it meant the amount of games all three played at the same time was lesser than they desired.

That's true, actually money plays a vital role on every club because with money a club that doesn't have a good performance could easily be transformed to being a best club because I no that there was a time PSG was not this good in terms of performance compare to other teams but with the financial stability they have now there is no limits to were they could reach on every season, also I believe that after Mbappe will leave the club they will make sure to replace him with a very good player and even adding more to enhance their attacking force, so actually it will be difficult for a club to challenge them on this league because there performance is beyond every other clubs.

Money can indeed play an important role for a club but on the other hand it also depends on the management and where the club comes from.
