When I think back before Lyon experienced an improvement like this, Lyon experienced a shortage of players and the previous coach was unable to make any changes to Lyon's performance and after changing coaches and adding several players in last winter's transfer, it provided a very extraordinary change as we saw today.

Lyon are a big team in the Ligue 1 and yes they started the season quite poorly but I was among the many that knew they’ll be able to survive relegation this season in the league. And yes that has now become a reality.This is the quality of a big club they didn’t just survive relegation but they also surpassed our imaginations and are now in the 10th place on the log. Their form isn’t really great this season but you can’t compare their recent form to how they started.

 They’ve had 10 wins and 4 draws and about 12 losses this season and you can tell that they’re average and that’s majorly because of how fast they picked up form and got back on their feet. Now the hopes are high that they might probably finish between 8th to 9th on the log.The way the management of the club took charge of the club really shows efficiency in managerial role as compared to how other clubs would have had lackadaisical attitude towards the clubs success. This should be a warning bell to other clubs who aren’t performing well and are not active in making changes.

 The mentality of the players changed and they had a better philosophy and are now chasing on for better things and sincerely next season, I expect them to be able to achieve something especially with how they managed to rise above the bad results this season. Indeed the coach has really revive the club because they are now far from the relegation zone, actually I most say that it didn't take Lyon too long to start improving because there last nine matches has been a quite success for them because they were able to win seven matches lose one and draw one, which is awesome because if they had putting in this effort they have now on most of there previous matches they would have even gone more higher than this on there table, although I'm happy for them that they are beginning to improve a lot, so actually from there performance now shows that there previous coach was actually the reason why they were playing that poor because his method was not working for the club, so imagine if he was still there coach till now they wouldn't have gone this far on the table maybe probably they would have been on the relegation zone by now, so I really commended on the management decision to hire another coach because that was the reason why Lyon has gone this far now.

You make a great point about Lyon. I'll be honest, beginning of the season? I wrote them off. Thought they were dead in the water, relegation battle for sure. But look at them now! This new coach, Pierre Sage, he's the real deal. Brought some serious energy to the team. Smart move. Now, they're a top 10 team? Unbelievable turnaround. Every season we see PSG leave their rivals with double-digit points gaps, so without waiting for the season to end actually PSG have claimed their championship trophy and even without much pressure from other teams in Ligue 1, like this season, PSG just waiting a few more games to celebrate the Ligue 1 championship?
There are only two solutions for Ligue 1 to be as competitive as other leagues in Europe, first, of course Ligue 1 must release PSG from the competition so that the other 17 teams in Ligue 1 can have a balanced strength between clubs, second, of course we need some big investors to want to invest in Ligue 1 teams other than PSG so that some other teams also have strength financially to be PSG's challenger in the ligue.
