Again and again for this week match, something unexpected happened, previously Marseille failure against Angers and yesterday match between PSG and Nice which also ended in draw with score of 1 - 1.
I predicted that PSG could win easily because they are the favorites and are the seeded team, but never mind this is also not the first time PSG has failed to win because in the previous match they were also only held to draw by lower team like when they played against Reims.
Nice played well only in the first half because after that they looked much more safe by dominantly playing by strengthening their back position, PSG dominance was amazing and they put tremendous pressure on every attack attempt but I admit Nice has pretty great goalkeeper, Marcin Bulka was very instrumental in Nice success in holding PSG to draw yesterday.

I also initially thought PSG would beat Nice with a big score because Nice was not in good condition but it turned out that Nice was able to hold PSG to a draw. It was a good result for them because PSG is a club that is difficult to beat but because the draw made PSG's position shift to 2nd place below Monaco with a difference of 2 points. I think Monaco and Marseille will be obstacles for PSG in winning the League 1 title this season because the competition between these three clubs is still quite fierce.

Various results like this give sense of skepticism and doubt towards some of the top team for the future until they have really found the strongest point by being able to have stable and consistent performance to get series of consecutive win, after all this I much more careful.

Talking about the Ligue 1 competition, this is indeed very amazing start because several team are able to play very well, now Monaco has shown significant development at the beginning of the season to be able to top the standings.
If it continues with the good performances shown by Monaco and Marseille, then there will be big competition here as I have said many times before the start of the competition that there will be better competition for Ligue 1 and this is competition that is rarely seen.
Hope is that there will be change with PSG defeat in fighting for the championship title, I sure if this really happens then we can see big unexpected surprise.

In the French Soccer League yesterday match, Nice vs PSG, I enjoyed the match between the two teams very hard. In this match, the players of both teams have equal performance, the match was drawn. Nice team player A. Abdi scored the 1st goal in 38 minutes. On the other hand, PSG team player  N. Mendes scored in the 52nd minute to draw the match. PSG team is in 2nd position of the points table. I expected PSG team to perform well in this match and win the match but it didn't happen in this match.

It didn't end well for Paris Saint-Germain because they were actually targeting full points, unfortunately they couldn't achieve their target because Nice's defense was too strong even though Paris Saint-Germain played dominantly. Now the Ligue 1 standings are getting more interesting because the leader is AS Monaco, I wonder, whether AS Monaco can become the Ligue 1 champion again like they did 8 years ago or not.

By the way, Nuno Mendes did not score for Paris Saint-Germain, it was an own goal scored by Nice player.

Marseille have lost a little bit of a pace recently. Especially that meaningless draw home against Angers...    However I don't feel like it will take them much long to recover. Their next game is against another team having difficult days like Montpellier. Most probably they will make up for that 5 points loss in 2 games. They look dedicated this season. 

The team I'm worried about the most is Lyon. I hope they don't hang around the relegation zone in any part of the season this time. They still look inconsistent despite the recent wins. We need to see more of it. They should play taking the name of this team into account too.

This Ligue 1 table shows that PSG are challenged by more teams in Ligue 1 this season. After losing their biggest attacking star player Mbappe to Real Madrid, PSG are going to have more troubles in Ligue 1. Their domination can be broken in this season and with their bad result in Champions League, this season can be a nightmare transitional season for them.

With their richness, except if their club get punishments from UEFA because of financial violations, they will come back in next seasons. Clubs in Ligue 1 like Monaco, Marseille need to take advantage of transition in PSG, to win Ligue 1 in this season.

So we always be careful in betting in big team matches like PSG who against a weak team or Marseille against a weak team. Sometimes it gives results that we cannot predict and better bet on other options.

Nice is a very well defensive team so this shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone. I bet on 0-0 result before the game but a very small amount, I also bet on PSG to win a bigger amount, because I believed it would be either a PSG win if they end up scoring, or it would be a tie if PSG can't score, I did see a potential of Nice keeping PSG at zero, but I didn't see a potential of them scoring, I was wrong. In the end I believe we shouldn't really consider this indicating anything about PSG, just because they failed to win, doesn't mean they are bad.

This happens every season, we see PSG have just a bit of a bad game and suddenly we see them considered "this season will be different, they will be horrible" but we see how they are not actually horrible and we are going to end up with a much better result. Marseille was previously able to perform quite consistently, but for some reason suddenly they crashed when they were in pretty good form at the beginning of the season, the loss to Strasbourg was actually the beginning of their inconsistency including when they had to get a draw from the anger in the previous match, so I think maybe it will also affect them when they have to face Montpellier in the match,  I saw in the match against Angers that it was seen that the Marseille players were unable to control their emotions and in the so actually harmed themselves, so I think it is a problem that De Zerbi must immediately overcome at this time.

Goes up and down is a common thing that happens to any team, especially Marseille is currently still improving to become part of the elite team in Ligue 1. After Igor Tudor left, Marseille experienced a very drastic decline in performance. Now in the hands of De Zerbi, Marseille is starting to improve again even though in the last two matches they were unable to achieve perfect points. Well, this actually adds references and insight for the coach regarding the weaknesses and shortcomings of his team. In order for their performance in the future to be even better, De Zerbi is certain to formulate a formula for his team. In the 8th week, Marseille will visit Montpellier's headquarters. So far Monaco has never lost even once, the worst result is only a draw and that too only once, the rest are wins. So, they will definitely maintain that position when they face LOSC later.

But on the other hand, LOSC is also on fire, especially after successfully defeating La Liga giants, Real Madrid, in the UCL. So at least they will be much more motivated. So, this will be a pretty exciting match later.

And even seen from the H2H, both seem to be equal with the number of wins and losses, including the draw result. So, maybe this will be good if it's a draw. haha

It is a unique fact in the farmer league, we see teams that usually win do not perform well at the beginning or middle of the season, but suddenly when all the domestic league agendas are over, they become champions in their league. One of the many farmer leagues is Ligue 1, the real champion in leagues like this is the team that is in second place, like last season in Ligue 1, AS Monaco managed to get that. By the way, it seems we haven't paid enough attention to Marseille, they are currently in top form, with Greenwood as the top scorer of the team.

Marseille is one the oldest teams in France and they are usually on the top side of the table even in the past years. I remember when Lyon was stronger in French Leageu one we had two teams racing for the title Marseille and Lyon and the game between these two teams was interesting to watch for people. Now Lyon is not strong anymore and they are not in the good form but still, Marseille has the good form they had before and they are having a good performance.
I think Marseille can easily beat Montpellier and if they do that, they can keep themself at the top of the table yet.

Yes you are right Marseille seems to have lost their balance lately when they played against Strasbourg they suffered a defeat after that against Angers they only managed a draw even though their opponent was a promoted club with poor performance and was at the bottom of the standings who had not won at all I hope after the international break Marseille can return to being a tough club like in the beginning so they can continue to compete with the top 3 teams and against Montpillier they should have been able to get 3 full points to make up for the previous points lost.

Talking about Lyon is not yet completely stable but I think they are still safe after all they are still far from the relegation zone even though they are unstable the most important thing is that they do not continue to experience defeat which will make them even more depressed. It seems like they are indeed going through difficult times.
