Yes Ligue 1 has 4 representatives in the Champions League, it seems that OP has a mistake, but I think it's normal because in the previous season Ligue 1 only had 2 places to qualify directly for the Champions League.

So true, but sadly he can't. Lionel Messi time at PSG did raise questions over his ability to adapt in any of Europe top five league aside Spain. PSG failed to impress in the Champions League this season, Brest, Lille and AS Monaco managed to show different performances there.
