I never understood the PSG situation. I mean look at Premier league, yeah sure City is owned by rich people, but so does most other teams, City isn't the only one. Why is PSG owned by super rich people and no other team can compete with them? Why does no other rich person just wants to buy a club at France and make them compete with PSG?

It is because the French League is not as lucrative for investors as the Premier League and if you are a rich guy and could decide in which stadiums you would like to be sitting and watch your team play, would it be the Premier League or Ligue 1? I think I would prefer a club in the Premier League. But the clubs in the Premier League are all richer than other clubs because they generate more action and more action leads to more revenue in professional football and any other sports.

Most high quality players would choose the Premier League and La Liga over Ligue 1. If you buy a club in Ligue 1, what's next? How much do you want to pay Haaland to come to Olympique Marseille? The answer to your question is clear and easy. In the Premier League, a team like Mamcshter City is owned by rich people but still, the other teams are also owned by rich people and that's how they can race in the of the table even after they see the owner of this team invest too much in Manchester City.

But in the French League other than PSG, the other team won't have a good financial situation and this is because of they do not have rich owners like PSG while this team can hire good coaches and players but the other team can't do the same thing and that's why they can't rave with PSG.

People in France also like to invest money in football but don't forget Arabs, not French people, own PSG.

The top 3 in the points table are PSG, Marseille and Lille. However, I don't think any team can compete with PSG for the title. Marseille's performance was very good at the beginning of the season. Marseille and Monaco played well at the beginning of the season. But gradually both of these teams have fallen behind. And now the performance of both of these teams is irregular. It is very difficult for Marseille to occupy the top position of the table.

True, it is mistake that has not been overcome even though Adi Hutter often tries to rotate the midfield players to focus on helping the defense, moreover we must often see Monaco playing formation by placing 4 players for the defender position and the game remains chaotic because each player cannot really close all the gaps that exist and results in making it easy for the opponent to penetrate.

A club generates vastly huge figures especially when they're winning matches and lifting titles, PSG falls in this sector. They win matches and usually win Ligue One trophy comfortably. The farmer's league is categorically positioned in front of Paris Saint-Germain. They're dominating every piece and having sliding oppositions that doesn't pull any string. PSG can be continued to be winners in next decades because no oppositions can suit their standards, but when they compete in Everyone had an opinion when it comes to owning a club.

PSG with their win against Manchester City after an amazing comeback in Champions League, will return to Ligue 1 with very positive mood. With 9 points more than Marseille, PSG have very good gap against the main competitor for Ligue 1 title. They won't let Marseille easily reduce this point difference because they need to prepare for Champions League likely playoff matches and knock out matches later. PSG will focus on Ligue 1 and try to create and maintain big difference that can help them having better plans for Champions League in late of season.

Marseille are growing but they are still not strong and stable enough to challenge PSG for Ligue 1 title. PSG was lucky to have that win yesterday against Lens, a 1-2 victory, still at the top with 10pt clear until Marseille play their game against Strasbourg which I think won't be an easy one for the second position team. Marseille need this game to reduce the point gap to 7pt at least for now till PSG meet any of the big teams even Marseille for the second leg, that would be another block buster and we know is not going to be easy too. I'd really like Marseille to not only win this game against Strasbourg but also the League title at least let PSG try again next season. The victory over Manchester City yesterday has opened up PSG chances of staying in the UCL this season, although they will most likely only qualify through the playoffs and that is still better than what Manchester City are achieving at the moment , if we talk about competition in Ligue 1 it is clear this season they will still continue to dominate it even maybe for the next seasons, because so far we have not seen a better champion mentality than PSG in Ligue 1, actually currently we have Marseille and Monaco who have a squad that may be on par with PSG but in fact they are still not able to break PSG dominance, so indeed the only thing they can achieve at the moment is a ticket to playing in UCL next season because trophy will certainly belong to PSG at the end of the season.

For me things are much improved for PSG, PSG have not only done a good job in Ligue 1 but also in the UCL, yesterday they beat City who are doing things very well, however this is giving them a great oxygenation, in fact Luis Enrique's celebration was epic, I think they really did very well, 4-2 was really good, I didn't see it in full, just in pieces, I only saw for a moment that it was 2-2, after that the totris 2 goals was something great. Pep is very bad, poor man.

But the simple truth is that a lot of Pep Guardiola’s men appear to consider their efforts and achievements of previous seasons grand enough to warrant a year off. It is as if they reckon all those titles have been such a tough slog that they have earned a sabbatical. Or, more pertinently, that they need a sabbatical. Few were busting a gut in Paris, that is for sure.

It is likely that of the 4 clubs representing the French league in the UCL, they will all advance to the playoffs, and so will PSG who were previously almost eliminated early in the preliminary round.

We agree, the fact is that Manchester City is indeed in a very messy transition phase of declining performance. let's discuss Manchester City first, since some of their players were injured, whether defenders or other players, City has conceded more often. as for PSG, they usually have difficulty scoring many goals in their matches. but at least by winning the match against City, the motivation of PSG players is getting bigger to qualify even though they have to go through the playoffs. besides, PSG actually often dominates the course of the match when competing in the Champions League. like the match against City for example, they controlled more possession of the ball and also tried a lot of shots and in this match PSG performed quite well by scoring many goals. well, let's just see one remaining match against Stuttgart. the match will be held at Stuttgart's home ground, will PSG be able to continue to show good performance in the away game, it's interesting for us to wait.

In my opinion, the French Ligue 1 clubs, with the exception of PSG, do not want to be bought. When you have greedy managers who do not want to give up power, they would not accept selling the club and losing their jobs. There are many cases of people, mainly football players, who have bought third division clubs, but there are few cases, I would venture to say rare cases in which a first division club has been sold. This does not happen very often because the members of these first division clubs live based on the money they earn thanks to the club, that is their biggest source of income, which is why they will not sell.
