Back to me this game was boring in the first half only Singo's goal in the 8th minute ended this game there was no good effort from both teams in the first half they just played the ball a lot in the middle no one penetrated because both teams played quite carefully, the second half Monaco's defense was more effective so Aston Villa didn't have many chances and this was also a victory for Monaco after 4 previous matches without a win, in my opinion they played defensively there was no other way because Monaco in several previous matches were quite easy to concede the ball and in this Champions match they came out of a bad game and in my opinion it is reasonable for the coach to apply this system to protect his team from defeat after defeat.

Rennes must be having their worst season in the recent years. They are in a dangerous zone and might even get relegated if they continue to lose. Due to new format in this season mostly French clubs are doing good best thing happen all four clubs are going to be had fair chance of ending into top 24 most chances Lille can go through automatically, but others are going to face challenges like Monaco have Inter Milan and Brest going to host Real Madrid which is currently in lethal mood.
