PSG is meeting Metz and ....common, let's be real, a team that is 3-4-15 has like 0.1%  chances of springing a surprise here.
Next match for Lens is Strasbourg, PSG sees Le Havre,  they have to wait till the 6th of March to see if Monaco manages to stop PSG also, but if by then the difference is 5 points, I feel like they will lose a ton of motivation.

Funny that you can still catch a 1.15 odd on PSG winning the title, I would have expected a below 1.10 by now

Another oddity in Ligue 1, Marseille shouldn't have lost this match, but this is football, where each team has 50% winning chance. Luckily I didn't bet on Marseille in this match, if I had bet on them I would probably have cursed this team.

Even with all the dominance Marseille had, they couldn't score a single goal. This match was the opening match of the matchday, they wasted their chance to continue racing in the Ligue 1 standings, Olympique Lyon will definitely be further away from them & comfortable in third place soon.

The way it has improved and strengthened itself with better position and struggle, its victory rate should have been more than 50% and an interesting thing is that it could not score a single goal against the lower team and it had to face a heavy defeat. Marseille's struggle was visible to everyone in one game but the opposing team played better and did not leave them anywhere. However, when you had to lose, you had to say goodbye to them with anger and bad luck and it was better that you did not consider it useful for yourself. It is difficult for Marseille to go to the top now and make itself victorious. Wasting such an opportunity will weaken Marseille's struggle. Their victory should have been clear in this game but the way they played they deprived themselves of 3 points.

League leaders Lens suffered a shocking defeat.
They took the lead 1-0 in the 3rd minute. A penalty situation in the 12th minute was reviewed by VAR, but it wasn't awarded because the ball came from outside the field during a corner kick.

In the second half, Lens made it 2-0 with a goal from Thauvin, and I thought they would increase their lead after that, but unexpectedly Balogun made it 2-1. Eight minutes later, the score was 2-2. Just when I thought Lens would attack again for the win, Fati scored on a counter-attack to make it 2-3. Lens lost a match they should have won 2-3.

If PSG beat Metz today, they will regain the top spot.

What a match that is between Lens and Monaco now man!

When Lens found 2-0 early in the second half I expected a win for them comfortably just as many other people. However Monaco's reaction to that was incredible...

They scored 3 goals in only 11 minutes! Now they are still 3-2 ahead in the stoppage time. Who could have thought they would make such a comeback? That's way too much.

That comeback was really incredible, no one saw that coming. We all thought Lens won the game today, not until the second half when we saw the game had turned for them, and Monaco incredibly won 3 goals in a short time. That means Lens will have to leave that top spot for the owners, which is PSG, because PSG will definitely win today’s game. They are currently winners with a goal already, just some minutes from the start of the game, so Lens are not just capable of what we all expect them to do.

I wasn’t happy with Lens defeat by Monaco, I expected a perfect result from Lens because they have been performing really well to mint pressure on PSG this season, but this defeat again had given PSG more chance to top them again with two points gap.

Nevertheless, just as we didn’t expect PSG to drop points last week and they dropped points, Lens has also dropped points and from PSG match result, they are wining the match 3-0 which means they have already taken the lead in the League 1 table again for the third time this season, I hope Lens can keep the pressure on to wait for another opportunity just as they took the advantage last week.

Regardless of Monaco defeating Lens, I am still counting on them this season because they are the better team among the rest of the team in the League 1 teams that should be competing with pSG.

Seeing Lens win the title would be a better thing cause they are the only team that has made the league more enjoyable this season because they have been so consistent in their performance making it very hard for PSG to be comfortable like they used to be in the previous season it's been a good season for Lens and they can still go back to the top should PSG  losses in any game.

Lens is behind PSG after their home defeat today but an opportunity cdn still happen when PSG drop points, Lens just need to remain consistent.

Losses happen even to the best teams, but the defeat Lens suffered today from Monaco was particularly painful.
Lens had the home ground advantage and were leading 2-0. They had more than twice as many shots on goal as Monaco had. But somehow they managed to waste all the advantages and concede 3 goals in the last 30 minutes of the game.

Marseille also disappointed as they lost to Brest 2-0. This was their 4th league game without a win.

Olympique Lyon have a difficult away game against Strasbourg tomorrow. Lyon are on 7 long win streak for league games and 12 wins in a row for all competitions (if I counted correctly). This is an amazing run, but due all the points they lost earlier in the season, I don't think they have any chances in the fight for the title.

Frankly, I don't think Paris Saint-Germain will relinquish their top spot anytime soon. They've suffered too many unnecessary point losses and will now prioritize the league more. The French league is also under threat, and they're aware of the points they lost in some matches where they used a rotated squad. Luis Enrique and his players now prefer to field their best possible team for both the Champions League and the French league.
