Lens have been in incredible form this season. But they have fallen behind again in the competition after losing to marseille and monaco. PSG's performance has not  been very consistent. They lost 3-1 to rennes a few days ago. But they have  regained the top spot in the table. Now psg  must continue their winning streak. PSG has the full potential to perform  consistently well. PSG still have the best  chance of winning the ligue 1 title if they do not suffer a bad defeat  in the upcoming matches.

PSG should be pleased that most top French clubs have not been consistent. Les Parisiens are not in top form like they were last season when they won the League before the end of the season. But we still have to commend Lens for giving PSG the needed competition. This season is entertaining since it is possible for another club to win the French League title. Lens is not competing in the European competition, which will help them to concentrate on the League.

I would say it is not about PSG as much as it's about Lens. While I do believe that PSG will do fine rest of the season, I think Lens will not do as well as PSG. Think about it this way, if we make their points all zero points, like start equal from here, I do not think Lens would get more points than PSG, nor even same points, Lens will get less points. When I believe that, it is really hard for me to think that PSG is a good team as an excuse for them to lose the title, it is just that Lens did alright so far, but won't here after.

We have been saying for a long time that lens will not be able to continue their performance. But Lens is performing quite well and has been able to maintain consistency. They have lost two  matches recently against Monaco and Marseille. Apart from that, their performance is very good.
On the other hand, psg  has a very busy schedule ahead. They are also fighting for the champions league title. So it will  not be easy for them to perform well consistently in ligue 1. After all, both psg and lens have the potential to win the ligue 1 title this season. And this fight will probably continue until the last match of the season.

Lens plays against tough opponents. Paris Saint Germain, with their quality and top-level performances, can beat these teams, but Lens has a limit to their capabilities. Once they reach that limit, they can't do any better. It's great that they've even been in the running up to this point.

I'm not surprised that Paris Saint-Germain wins, in fact the opposite has always surprised me, but this is something that will eventually improve with time. Lens is definitely a great team, given that it is ahead of other teams that have dominated the French championship over time. This is definitely a revelation.

Lyon got beaten really hard by Strasbourg by the way. 3-1 in an away game... But they are still comfortable at the 3rd position now. All thanks to their great performance in general of the season so far. 

From being on the verge of relegation due to financial problems to this point... What a rise! Marseille's horrible form is also helping them a lot to remain in their current place easily.

I even doubt Marseille's chances to finish in top 4 with this effort.

How would you conclude that Lens defeat to Monaco has handed PSG the title win? It is not over until it is over especially the PSG - Lens pattern of league movement so far. PSG could still loose some crucial games unapologetically and if it happens, Lens would return to the top by one point. I am thinking that their clash at Lens home could end in draws too

They may not have to overcome a tough obstacle to actually qualify for the Champions League round of 16 as it's correct they are already ahead with a win in the first leg of the play-off against Monaco. Besides, Monaco is now out of rhythm, so we can safely say that the second leg of the upcoming Champions League will be in the favor of the current UCL champion French club Paris Saint-Germain. It is certain that this team will advance another step if they win the upcoming UCL final playoff game against Monaco.

Winning the Ligue 1 title isn't their primary goal. Their main objective this year is to win the Champions League again. They know how to do it because they won the championship last year from a similar situation. However, many teams are already developing strategies against them this year. I'm sorry to say this because i thought these guys were a little more determined to do better but i have to say that they got screwed by Monaco who is always a great team but this allows Paris Saint-Germain to carry out their escape which they have been planning for a long time and now it is reality, so i have to say that once again they will win the championship.

They are always happy with the inconsistency of other teams in the French league 1 which makes PSG always at the top of the standings, for this season we are also quite entertained by the very impressive performance of Lens who have worked hard to be able to compete with PSG at the top of the table, this season they managed to disrupt PSG's stability as dominators of the standings it is proof that they are indeed developing as a whole and better than last season, although today the top position of the standings is returned to the Dominator of the French league 1, Lens does not have a match in the Europa league but they still have a match in a different domestic league, namely in the French cup.

That lack of capacity is what I have mentioned for the longest of time, the attempt by Lens has pushed many into that ecstasy of expectations and high hopes that they are about to experience something really different this season than they have previous seasonMs but the. Consistency and the ability to sustain for the longest of time happens to be the most of the challenge these teams have when compared to PSG and it will take them some time to get over that.

It was a big win for Strasbourg on Sunday. They ended Lyon's run of 12 straight wins in all competitions (7 for league only), while they themselves were on 3 games without a win.
I don't know what happened to Lyon in that game, as they almost didn't exist. They only made 4 shots on goal with 2 on target. I would expect them to have at least 3 times that.

Anyhow, Strasbourg will have another big test this Friday, as they're taking on Lens. Both teams will be desperate for points: Lens to catch up with PSG in their campaign for the title, and Strasbourg to get back in to the top positions that will grant them participation in European cups next season. It will be a good game to watch.

Lens lost to Monaco. This puts PSG back in first place in the standings with a two-point lead. Lens could overtake PSG again if they lose and they get three points. But as I said before, PSG ultimately won Ligue 1 again. The difference from last season is that this season they have fewer rivals, making the title challenge more difficult. I think it's hard to see PSG being beaten in the league. But Lens can still be beaten by a team from the top 10. Lens will face PSG in April. It seems likely that PSG will be able to widen the gap to five points, and after that, I don't think Lens will be able to overtake PSG again.
