It was quite an outstanding performance for the Egyptian attacker (Salah) who had 2 goals to his name, the victory was just too easy if you ask me with Newcastle playing like a team who has lost focus in the game. I couldn't get what's their plan B when it was 3-1, they seem confused at some point, with this display I don't see them (Newcastle) as a hard side to play against in the EPL.
Topping the league with the first game of 2024 is really going to be a morela booster for the team and it seems Liverpool will be the only team to give City a run for their money this season and probably Aston Villa because as it is I see Aston Villa as a better side than the Gunners that's why they (Arsenal) didn't come out as a competitive side for the title.

 Liverpool love playing a wide and attacking football and is really working perfectly well for them and the wingers are also making oppositions beg to settle for the ball. They did the same thing against Newcastle with a lot of pressure, Klopp style of play has been impressive and is hard to mark them out and make Liverpool play something different.
 Salah had a wonderful game last night and it seems like he might be missed when he leaves for the AFCON, I believe the coach of the side Klopp knows how it will be like without Mo Salah on the team. He has been the only old player who's still in that team if I'm not mistaken so at some point I don't think his absence would be felt, since they have younger ones who are eager to play. Liverpool can still replace him and even do better, if that happens then Salah should try to avoid injury because he'll be dropped and he won't have that first team shirt again if he comes with any sort of injury.

It was an interesting game from the start to the first half with enough battles between the two teams but no goals. But after half time Liverpool started with a great goal and Mohamed Salah scored Liverpool to go ahead. Although Liverpool took the lead in the 49th minute, Newcastle equalized in the 54th minute. However, at Liverpool's home ground, they managed to mount a great attack and later scored more goals to put Liverpool ahead and the game was never leveled. However, Manchester City have not performed very well this season due to which they are currently down at the top of the points table. However, since Liverpool have come into the Premier League with a great performance this season and they are at the top of the points table, they have enough chances to win the title this season.

I think these two players are competing in creating goal opportunities this season Mohammed Salah potential is still quite good. I don't thinks Liverpool has want to sell Mohammed Salah to a Saudi Arabian club for this season.

If you look at the Permier Leaugie statistics of both players, Haaland made 50 games and 50 goals... a goal in every game. Mo Salah has 251 games and 153 goals, both stats are very impressive. Last season Arsenal were ton place one after 20 games and had 47 points. In the 21/22 season, Manchester City were first with 50 points.

The missed penalty by Salah is going to hunt the Reds in this game that's if they lose as they're playing 1-1, I thought Newcastle would be lacking behind at half time but they managed to escape the force of Liverpool in this encounter.
I feel this game might go in favor of the visitors and Klopp would still be the league leader at the moment, Newcastle can still make this game end 1-2 but the pressure of Liverpool is too much for them to handle and I started wondering why Liverpool didn't play the way they are playing against Manchester United and Arsenal, they would have gotten a better point to top the table but now they're struggling with Newcastle which I don't think it will be in their favor, it is either a draw or Newcastle win the game.

Salah got two penalties. the first penalty failed in the 22nd minute, and his second penalty was successful in the 86th minute. overall Salah played quite well scoring 2 goals in his 4-2 victory against newcastle united. and widened the gap at the top of the standings with 2nd place.

Im quite happy with the result even though liverpool conceded two goals but this far better rather than get draw or lose against newcastle. So, the bad performance of newcastle is still continue as of now. I believe newcsatle will be struggle in the upcoming game.
Perfect result for liverpool even though i have demanded liverpool to take cleansheet against newcastle but this is not bad at all. Liverpool can strengthen its defensive line to make sure it will not be conceding goals again in the future.

Klopp may need to evaluate the defenders caused by their performance was always very poor. They can't keep the club to get the cleansheet while the attacking lines were working so hard to win the game by scoring as many goals as liverpool can.
Im still concerning about the defensive line of liverpool as it was performing so poorly in any games. The attackers seem perfect but it's not for the defenders. They were making too many mistakes.

Admitting that Newcastle has been somewhat lackluster recently. I would not be surprised by Newcastle defeat after previously knowing that many of the main players were injured and had experienced a decline in performance since then, which had consistently declined greatly. even though previously in the early stages of the season, Newcastle was able to appear impressive and had quite strong consistency, but things slowly changed to become very weak and Liverpool victory was guaranteed previous predictions because Liverpool is in quite good condition at the moment.

Eddie Howe has previously always been praised for being able to provide good consistency at the start of the season and this time the Newcastle coach must be under pressure to deal with this problem.
