Manchester City has successfully topped the standings while currently 4 points ahead of Liverpool, maybe the match against Leicester City looks a bit easy for City to widen the distance with Liverpool, but Leicester City should be able to get three points or can hold City to a draw so that Liverpool's points with City not too far away and make the league more competitive. Moreover, City's performance has appeared quite consistent this season so that they managed to occupy the top of the standings.

A few days ago I saw no matches were postponed. And looking at it today the first 3 PL matches are now postponed. This is very bad for the league hope the pandemic there recovers quickly.

The premier league can not be postponing games with no solution on how to handle the outbreak in the league. I understand that they all want the scheduled fixtures to continue across the festive period. But calling off some games like how the Liverpool and Leeds United's scheduled meeting at Anfield for Boxing Day has been called off as well as Watford's game against Wolves due to Covid-19 outbreaks. Before now, Ranieri's side have already had to postpone games against Burnley and Crystal Palace due to an outbreak of the virus at the club, and I don't know if Watford will still fulfil their fixture against West Ham as more of their first team players are beginning to get out of isolation. It is the festive season and the fans will always want to come watch their club play. I think a decision is to be made considering all these postponement.

It could be considered as a force majeure ... the outbreak are something that you can control even it was running for nearly 2 years now , it was extraordinary event and health must come first , i dont mind if all of the rest of matches of the season stoped or halted if the situation getting wild of course, nobody wanted it.

even if FA could held the match with closed door .. one or another side could feel not right as some of the key players missing due affected by the covid19 so yeah let's just wait , they are all working on it.

Man City managed to win 8 games in a row in the Premier League, this proves that Man City is playing consistently and deserves to be at the top.
Quite different from Leicester who have played very inconsistently this season,  they often drop points and will likely find it difficult to face Man City.
Not only you predict victory for Man City, but many people are very optimistic Man City will beat Leicester easily. Moreover, Man City must not lose
points against Leicester, because if Man City fail to beat Leicester, this will provide an opportunity for Liverpool to catch up to the points that Man City has.

I am thinking of Mahrez to start here from the left wing. He is very good in swinging the ball in and Pep Guardiola knows who they are against and they are weak on the left hand side defence. Even Silva would do the work for them.

Btw didn't knew they have Liverpool up next in mid week fixture. Guess 2021 end is not gonna go well for Leicester.

Leicester City jettisoned did not start Jamie Vardy in the opening minutes and he had to start the game on the bench. I think Brendan Rodger has his own tactic by resting Vardy in the early minutes. City still appear almost with the same composition of players, only Zichenko who appears as the main player in the left-back position and shifts Cancelo's position on the right. Without the presence of Kyle Walker, City's defensive formation has changed slightly but I think this match City can win.

The match manchester city vs leicester does not seem to be going well, now manchester city is in a pretty positive trend and even on boxing day it doesn't show any decline in their performance, in the last two matches manchester city was able to achieve perfect results and I think today they will back to continue this positive trend when facing leicester which is currently quite down, the drastic decline in performance experienced by leicester caused them to lose their place in the european league and was dramatically eliminated in the carabao cup, it looks like this season brendan rogers has failed to bring the squad leicester are in a good direction and the proof they are only able to win 1 time from their last match.

Leicester City are not as strong as they were in last 2 seasons so they will have less chance in this match. Manchester City will try to earn points before return of Champions League. They did not have too good advantage in Premier League because in this season Chelsea and Liverpool are playing too well.

They are keeping to make the trophy competition very tightly and interesting. Foden and Grealish broke rules so Pep are punishing them as I know. No worry without them, Manchester City are still a stronger team in this pair.

this is the most unpredictable game of this round

Their match can still be predicted that Westham will beat Southampton.  Some of the reasons why Westham can win is because their team's position is much stronger even though the previous few matches lost but Tottenham are indeed a pretty strong team, even with Liverpool they also drew in the previous match.  On the other hand. Souhtampton is still in the low order.

I knew it was going to take a miracle for Leicester not to concede a goal in the first few minutes of play from the line up. I wasn't expecting two goals so quickly, but wow! This Manchester City side are going to demolish this Leicester team today. Shortly after supporters of the Leicester side will be calling for the sack of Brendan Rodgers, the players are looking very unmotivated and not like the same team that won the league a while back.

Manchester City and Arsenal started pretty fast but we can't say same thing for West Ham. They conceded an early goal and that made things harder for them. Elyounoussi scored for Southampton. Normally I would bet live on West Ham United but they don't control the game, I don't know if they can make a comeback. Michail Antonio plays more effective than Jarrod Bowen, I don't understand why Moyes started Bowen in this match.
