When Antonio conte said Eric dier can’t be replaced in the team I was doubting why he would say such thing,until yesterday when I watched the game between spurs and Chelsea. Eric dier was missed from the first minute to the last, no long pass from the back. Spurs lack his leadership all through the match. I was either. I assume that most people waited for a competitive match between them in Stamford Bridge. As it was a cup match, we never know what happens in this kind of matches. But Chelsea ended the curiosity by literally destroying Tottenham here. Tottenham were doing really nice in the Premier League actually as of Conte's arrival. But they couldn't reflect that performance on this match clearly.

What a brilliant performance from Chelsea. Many people expected a draw because Chelsea were quite out of form lately. But, the results came as a shock. Chelsea dominated the game, and left Tottenham with only 2 shots on target. Tottenham indeed tried their best, but Chelsea were well prepared. And also, with the situation on ground, Chelsea have high probabilities of playing the finals z because i don't think Tottenham can beat Chelsea in the 2nd leg with 3 goals or above.

You were not alone in this surprise, many others feeling like in this way because I was also expecting some good fight from them, but sadly they were completely out of touch for this match. It may be these are doing not hard for having next very tough game in Premier League against Local London Club Arsenal and want to ensure no new injury or any serious trouble because now they need some good intention in Premier League for enjoying to six rank with many teams in connection and improving performance and quality for better end of this season specially recently we have Arsenal, West Ham and Manchester United are competing for better result for rest of this season.

I think Chelsea are gonna do well even without Havertz and Azpilicueta. Yeah they both are crucial members of the squad but there are lot of players so that will certainly be covered by them. They have quite some quick fixtures so Tuchel might want to manage his squad properly and will hope not to add more to the injury list.

I agree with you on it. Chelsea would still do a good job in the absence of those two players. Havertz isn't one of the starting eleven players for them too. He plays in the absence of Lukaku mostly. And he enters the game later in the second half. But I don't say that Havertz is unskilled of course. He is a quite skilled striker and Chelsea thought good by bringing him here. He performs well when he has the chance.

in the last few matches eric dier always makes mistakes I think and his performance I think is not good at this time and I quite agree with what you said because indeed in 2 matches spurs against watford and soton i feel his contribution is far from good and even some of his passes and backups in closing the opponent's movements are also very bad

Some days later, we are going to see some postponed games to be played. Everton - Leicester is one of these games too. Maybe the condition of each team in the standings isn't very good. But I still believe that we are going to watch a very competitive game here. Leicester seem to be more capable of scoring these days. But Everton were good against Brighton actually as they scored 2 goals in that game. If we see both teams scoring here, we could watch many goals in this game too I think.

This match is good for Daniel levy Tottenham chairman to know that the need to support Antonio conte in the transfer market, spurs players did not turn up at all in this game. No replacement for Eric dier,they need a world class player in attack that we compete with Kane and don.they need a playmaker they should take the coutiho sagas very seriously it will do them good,and the seriously need a right back Emerson is not good

I guess I agree to the Conte decision to speak out against the players. Aside from Kane and Son who are getting a bit bored by the looks of it, who is there to actually do something? All the other players are not on par with most premier league teams and I have to say that they are definitely looking like they have to handle something in order to get back better.

Conte however knew the players he had when he took the job, so suddenly saying that his roster is not good enough is wrong in that case, not like they sold bunch of players after he signed, if that was the case I would say he was definitely right but in this case he knew what he was getting into before he accepted it.

Things are turning worse as same as in the past season when Frank Lampard lost his control after winter and Chelsea gradually fell on the table. Eventually, Frankie was fired and Tuchel came to make a history. A history of Chelsea is interesting but risk for Tuchel. It's rarely to see a coach can save his position after winning a title in a previous season.

In my opinion, the main reason of Frank Lamapard's failure was that in order to discipline some members of the squad , he didn't used those players who didn't followed his directions properly. Take Rudiger and Alonso for example, under Tuchel they are the backbone of the defense. There should be some degree of discipline but not too much. Chelsea right now seems to have lost a bit of focus but once they gather that back I think they will be back in form.

There's no much difference between Frankie and Ole, they have a clear understanding of the clubs system but not the right Manager for them.
Aside that, no English manager has ever won the premier league, so no doubts I knew there was no way for him to do better than he did, since he was tipped to win the premier league.

I was honestly disappointed in that match. I really expected a fiercely contested match. But I was surprised to see that Chelsea dominated Tottenham from the start to the end. I wasn't impressed by Conte's boys. It left me thinking if there will be need for the second leg.
Though, Conte is known for his strategies and may upturn my expectations.

Yeah .. young manager like lampard sometimes get a disrespect , that's why he put a high fine list at the time he think the players getting indiscipline.

the situation could repeated just like the other day when chelsea under frank lampard , they start the downtrend till gind themselves at ninth position at the league table.
chelsea has lost too much points with a draw results and now facing a tight fixtures plus some injuries . could be worse.

I'm also quite disappointed with Tottenham's form, they chose to play defensively and they didn't create many chances. Even though
I expected a match from Tottenham, but my guess was wrong, Chelsea really dominated the game. To be honest I wasn't entertained at all
by the Chelsea vs Tottenham match. It looks like Conte is eyeing a draw in the first leg, and they will try to win in the second leg.
And it also seems that Conte has also taken into account that if Tottenham lose, it shouldn't be with too big a score. In the end, Tottenham only
conceded two goals, so there is still a chance that Tottenham will score two goals in the second leg. But the opponent they face is Chelsea,
it is not easy to prevent Chelsea from scoring goals. I don't know if Conte's strategy will work, but I don't doubt Conte's ability as a coach.
I think the second leg Tottenham will play attacking from the start, and Chelsea is not the type of team that will defend. The second leg should
have been much more entertaining.

Even competing with West Ham is very difficult for Manchester United West Ham have been more consistent so far and excel in the number of goals
Tottenham is still in the spotlight because the mainstay striker has not been able to score many goals only 23 goals so far different from last season
Harry Kane and Soon haven't been at their best I don't know, we don't know why this can happen even though both of them are the most successful duo last season

Arsenal might be able to secure the current 4th position by beating Tottenham in the upcoming fixture. and it will also pave the way for West Ham and Man United to continue to close ranks with Arsenal.
We can also see a bigger chance than Arsenal from the few games that have yet to be played, most of which are not so strong teams. If Arsenal can play consistently and keep on winning, I don't think Man United or Wast Ham will shake their position.

The league is still open for the top four position. It would’ve been Manchester United place had it been they grabbed more points from their games. They had about four outstanding games and only managed to grab only 7 points out of 12. And they were all easy fixtures for them. Now Arsenal, West ham United and Tottenham seems more serious about this top four position and considering their next 3 games in the EPL, West ham United has more easy fixtures than Arsenal and Tottenham. They have Norwich City and Leeds United and Manchester United. Why Tottenham will be playing against Arsenal and Leicester city and Chelsea. And Arsenal will play Tottenham, Burnley and Wolverhampton. Westham United has the advantage to displace Arsenal from that 4th place in these games. They were there before and I know they will cement is this time around.
