It was an easy game for Liverpool this time around and it got them back on track and closed the gap to City at the top although still quite a distance away (11 points).
but at least they can be in second place at the moment and shift chelsea.
for this match, brentford can't do anything but defend and indeed liverpool almost dominates half the pitch I think

Finally Liverpool is back in second place as previously predicted Liverpool won easily while West Ham lost then gave Arsenal a chance to take 4th place if  win next week
Arsenal have 2 more games which could leave West Ham even further anyway next week there will be a lot of movement in the standings except for first place and bottom 3 teams this is a healthy competition.

I honestly feel that Manchester United started the season better than at the moment. It is true that the previous coach was not managing to get the team to play to their full potential. But Ralf Rangnick isn't able to do it either.

If we look closely, the performance of the two coaches has not been very different.

He wasn't hired to make the team better. I know that is very weird concept to understand but he wasn't, he was just hired to let the time pass for a while with a scapegoat and then they will get someone better during the off-season. You can't just let the team be managerless, and interim coach can't just become the manager for the remainder of the season forever neither. So, they just hired Ralf to handle it until the season is over and then he is going to end up getting fired for bad results and some big name manager will be hired for sure.

I still think that Pochettino deal could happen, especially if he fails to win UCL with PSG this year, that will be easier because there is a bigger chance he could be fired. If he is fired, then United will take him and that is when we are going to see United playing with full potential. Aside from Ronaldo, most players are not that old, so they could do well for a while longer.

even without mo salah who are currently fighting for the AFCON , they seems just fine. liverpool had a chance to make manchester city back in the pressure with 8 points difference but now it's 11 as the next match is against crystal palace , the one who beat manchester city. specialist in giant killing, beware just beware.

Of course, you can stay with an interim until the end of the season. Many clubs have already done so, and sometimes the interim ends up doing such a good job that he ends up coaching the club.

Even so, it was expected that the team would perform a little better, after two months, but that is not happening. There are certainly other problems, beyond the coach, that need to be resolved by the end of the season. If not, it's hard to get a good coach.

Liverpool won against Brentford, and took over the second position from Chelsea. The showed how superior they were in their match today. Poor Brentford won't not resist Liverpool's squad, and they ended up with just a shot on target. Although, we all knew Liverpool was going to win for sure. While West Ham lost their home match to Leeds. It was really surprising, because I literally thought West Ham will win. But, the results came out the opposite. It seems Leeds was well prepared for the game. They won in the first half, and probably draw the second half. West Ham was unlucky today.

Ronaldo recently commented that he does not see Manchester United below 3rd place, in principle after getting used to the new coach they might make it to 3rd place, why not? I agree with you about third and second place, they look a bit weak for those lines, at least for now, I think at least Liverpool will still gain some momentum, and even now they seem to be performing well

I do not agree with these statements because with the current form and way of play Manchester United have very tough time even not possible to reach at number 3rd or 4th because after leading by 0 - 2 now playing at 2 - 2 is just happened to them in many matches and with this they can't reach out at top they need to solve issues which are bringing them frustrated and having problems for long run in their stay at top without this they can slip more in league table.

West Ham, Arsenal and Tottenham these all are having some good quality and form for staying above them for rest of this season. For top 3 positions we have 3 teams fixed as they are doing great and no one can challenge them and bring them down from this position with their current way of play in Premier League.

With first place in the league everything is clear, if we face it it's hard to catch up with them, second third place is struggling, but I think they don't look good, I don't know, it's just my opinion, half a season is almost over, maybe something will change. As for MJ, again, it seems to me that they will change their style of play, they will start to win, after all the coach just came ...

No doubt Man City would definitely clinch the EPL title however I just want Chelsea and Liverpool to keep on mounting pressure on them till the closing end of the season, if these two clubs flopped definitely Man City will win the title earlier, Liverpool is trailing them with 45 points with an outstanding match if won that will be 48 points while Man City has 56 points, with 8 points difference and 16 matches to go, though the gap isn't that much, Man City has been very consistent and very exceptional in their approach each matches thus look unstoppable for now.

They were able to get a really comfortable and easy win against liverpool - Brentford today. Brentford weren't so lucky to score even once they did pose a danger. With this win, Liverpool placed second in the league, ahead of Chelsea. There is no serious difference between them and City. In the coming weeks, Liverpool don't have very strong opponents, I think they will score points without making any mistakes, until the Arsenal match. They will probably be the winners in the Arsenal match.
