Eh Palace down a goal. They're not playing with their best team but surprised to see Clyney still on the bench after conceding. This team looks pretty awesome with their regular three (and Zaha of course) but without them, they look almost as if they do belong a division down.

Guess they think mid-table survival's better than FA Cup distractions.

They should be very careful, else they'll end up lossing this game.
Olise putting them back in the game with a goals not long enough.....but then my hunches telling me it will result to a draw.
The score is now 1-----1.

....

Ever since Rangnick took over, the teams are probably still trying to adapt to the new strategy. Even Bruno isnt included in the starting lineup nowadays because he cant adapt to the new one yet
This is what's bothering me. Bruno is a decent player and he could be forced out if the new manager doesn't think he would fit into his system. We've seen the same thing in the past with other teams as well. It would be a waste if that happens.
That’s one of the problems with having an attacking midfielder in a team. They do not fit in other formations except a 4-2-3-1 or 3-4-1-2 formation. We have been seeing how they have been omitted from the game plan of a team by many Coaches; Starting from Isco, James Rodríguez, Phillipe Coutinho. These are all attacking midfielders but since these coaches decided to introduce a 4-3-3 formation, it doesn’t suit an attacking midfielder, it only requires three central midfields and they’re sent to the bench. That’s why Bruno Fernandes suffers in the National team when Santos plays his 4-3-3 formation, Bruno is forced to play as one of the sided midfielders, he doesn’t play well, and most times he’s left on the Bench. Ralf Rangnick wants a pressing football, Bruno doesn’t fit that style of play and it’s affecting the team. He needs to play another formation that will involve everyone.
Coutinho as unique player and give more advantage for Aston Villa depend have many position can give for him, I think Coutinho can playing well as midfielder where playing behind of forward position and Steven Gerrard as Aston Villa manager can give him left or right winger position where he can play better like Liverpool before. I think most effective giving free position for Coutinho to play as midfielder behind forward position or giving as left winger.

Fa Cup games so much today, I get tired looking at the fixture.
I'll be down for the likes of Leicester City, Brentford, and Chelsea to win their games.
Chelsea should do so in the first half having a great time against Manchester City few days ahead.
Manchester City scoring four goals last night playing from away.
There are 22 FA Cup matches played today and 7 of them have been completed, while 5 matches have not started, and there are 10 match FA Cup third round matches currently underway right now, but from today list of matches in my opinion none of the matches really interesting to watch, so far we haven't seen any bigmatch in the FA cup, and maybe the only match that might be worth watching will be played on Tuesday which will bring together two premier league teams, namely Manchester United and Aston Villa.

I saw on sky sports this morning an interview by Antonio Conte and I realized how Tottenham made a great decision bringing him in, he said he didn't sigh a long contract because he wanted to be sure how the Tottenham board are prepare to work and support him,to know how ambitious they are,and he made mention of his huge salary and expect Tottenham to see  good work from him before they talk about new contract.

Competent approach from both sides. I don't really understand the situation when a club signs a long-term contract with a coach, and then when it wants to fire him (for various reasons, but mainly because of poor results), it pays him a huge compensation. Work in this format is more fair for both parties - the coach gets a good salary if he gives good results and everyone is happy.

Manchester United is a disaster they are competing with themselves to see if they improve anything, I doubt that in this rhythm they can be in the top 4 knowing that there are still teams like wolves, leicester that don't give up easily and that can still recover, they still have Arsenal and Tottenham so Manchester United doesn't stand a chance

Its not going to be the first time that this happened so be it. Most people are expecting the team to keep on winning or atleast show some improvement but they havent, they even lose the last game against Wolves which was pathetic but the race for top 4 this season is pretty much still ongoing because as of now I honestly dont think any other team aside from City have secured it
Chances of Manchester united getting on the top 4 seems very slim and impossible as the league keeps progressing. So far I only see Arsenal and Tottenham contesting for who stands on the forth position on the table as Manchester city keeps topping the league with points far above Chelsea and Liverpool. I just which there was a possible improvement for Manchester united
Looking at the points of manchester united now, I think their chances are still wide open to reach the top 4, apart from the fact that there are still a lot of games left and manchester also has 1 game pending that they haven't played so far, but as an arsenal fan of course I expect if manchester united , westham and also tottenham will have difficulty in undergoing the rest of the match later, so that at least arsenal's position will remain safe in the top 4 Grin.
The top four spot is really going to be tough this season, with Arsenal coming out to be one of the teams to watch out for this season impressing everybody with their performances.
Manchester United are really hopeful of the top four finish and are not afraid of the threat by Arsenal and West Ham.
But I truely back Arsenal to challenge Manchester United and West Ham to compete for the top four

I think most effective giving free position for Coutinho to play as midfielder behind forward position or giving as left winger.
After leaving Liverpool, Coutinho has decreasing performance in Barcelona, Bayern and even his return to Barcelona with new coaches can not help. He is no longer young and I see no bright future for Coutinho. He can become another Kaka who lost himself after moving from AC Milan to Real Madrid. Even a return to AC Milan did not help Kaka. Coutinho did not get too many injuries like Kaka but how they lost their best performance is unknown. Another example is Shevchenko and Fernando Torres. Because career span of football players is very short so if they make mistakes and waste about 4 seasons, it is almost half of their best time in their career.

I think it is too late for Coutinho to come back at his best. He is not too old but his mentality and ambition looks not good after leaving Liverpool. I feel he satisfied with what he has been doing in last few seasons.

Currently the 4th most realistic position for arsenal, manchester united, westham and also tottenham for them to fight for, because in my opinion the position of the top three teams (manchester city, chelsea and liverpool) will no longer be easy for them to pursue, so the only hope for them is to being able to qualify for the group stage of the champions league next season is to end the season in the top 4, yes of course I personally also hope that arsenal can return to play in the champions league next season, after Arsenal last appeared in the Champions League in the 2016/2017 season.

When it comes to the Everton v Leicester match, I reckon that Leicester can win this match. Because Everton are having a so terrible season that they have made many simple point losses. Their struggle can help Leicester continue to win. I can't say that Leicester are playing well this season also. They are far worse than their last season performance. But they are still strong enough to beat this version of Everton without looking at if it is a home or away match.

The percentage of wins is quite thin because both are quite good when dealing with a club which is quite balanced between Everton and Leicester. But if you look at the games that Leicester have won, it is likely that their game will be slightly superior. As for Everton, they had played well and were always a threat in terms of defense against Chelsea. Therefore, it seems that I will have a little difficulty determining bets from the two clubs.

With pep sidelined with some illness will Manchester city be as lethal as they are always known for fot... I see the team lacking some focus during this period as their manager recovers..

Crystal Palace lacks the consistency to show they are a premier league team full of experience otherwise if they wake up to play some good football they can give any any team a run for their money but playing with teams you hardly play against is actually not an easy gaame to play as there is little research done to use for the game.  Smiley

FA Cup isn't interesting for most clubs, they tend to play with substitutes and test them there. Crystal Palace won the game with 2 goals to 0. Newcastle lost its game. Chelsea is leading with 4 goals in the half time although I see them playing with top players.
There will be games between West Ham - Leeds and ManU - Aston Villa that might eliminate a serious threat for the title Roll Eyes

Chelsea completely in control of the match after a 4-0 lead at halftime against a underdog Chesterfield whom I taught will create an upset before the game however when I saw the lineup of Chelsea I was surprised to see a full strength of Chelsea except their goalkeeper who is not familiar, I am sure the end of the match Chelsea will bang in more goals to qualify for the round, however Chesterfield players will be proud of playing against some big stars of the blues.

You guys talk as if Manchester City are just doing well because  they have great players, you don't praise pep for his work, comparing city squad with Liverpool and Chelsea and Manchester United is not much different in term of quality.Vincent company, yaya toure, David Silva and kun Aguero have all left but you won't notice it because of the constant thinking of pep.

I totally agree with you on that. This is not only the success of the players. The Pep Guardiola factor shouldn't be forgotten. Maybe Manchester City have very great players thanks to being a very rich club. But they owe this success to Guardiola's nearly perfect game plan. It is very important for a team to have the right system for the players. Otherwise, none would change even if you have the best lineup in the world. This is the truth of football.

I have to completely agree with you on that, you hear people saying that City only play well cause they have quality players, but it's not all about having the players, you'll also have to manage them, and that's something pep is doing very well, for example they have been without a striker for a very long time and they are still scoring more goals that most of the teams in the world, the tactics pep brings to the game is second to none, and City's brilliance is not just down to the players, but also the ingenuity of the manager, and I think that City would actually have a couple of problems themselves when pep leaves the club.

I really love to watch West Ham's dedicated game in this season. They started stumbling a few weeks ago and got bad results as a result of it. But they still stood up and they are on a win streak right now by two games. And they are gonna play their missing game against Norwich a few days later. Norwich shouldn't be a big deal for them. They are the worst team in the league literally. West Ham can maintain this run.

Man City is always one step ahead of the other big clubs. The first step and has a very high-quality player performance. Of all the matches that Man City has gone through, they remain the club most idolized to win trophies. The most awaited candidate to show how much the team's management from the coach will determine which direction Manchester City will take.

It wouldn't be good for Manchester United supporters to rely on Cristiano Ronaldo mostly from now on. And the game plan of the team shouldn't be like this too. Because he is not in the old days anymore. He isn't performing at the same level even though he seems to score still. The most important thing that Manchester United need to do is to build a solid team play. This is Rangnick's responsibility mostly. If he manages to build this, then we will be able to start observing a high-performing Manchester United.
To be honest, I do not understand how Rangnick became the manager of Manchester United. In my understanding, this is not a top coach and he is definitely no better for Solskjaer. It seems as if the owners of the club want save money where it is absolutely impossible to do so. At some point it might seem that things are going better in Manchester, but this is not so. I will say that nothing has changed in the club, and the team still needs a real high-level coach.

Yeah, Manchester United are still much better now comparing to the Solskjaer's time. Because they were showing an awful performance back then. Rangnick's game plan is better but this is still not good enough for the team considering their recent performance. If he builds the rightest game plan for Manchester United, they can maintain this for a long time and achieve bigger successes too. But on the other hand, Rangnick is their interim manager as he's going to leave the club this summer. After that, Manchester United will need to take the right steps after bringing a new manager.

FA Cup is having some predictable results, but tomorrow's matches will be the games that will surprise, for example liverpool will probably lose because they don't have their best players, tottenham will probably win because they will play for real, while Manchester united may lose because he won't play with all his best players, knowing the new Manchester coach he will put other players and not his main players

It's weird that City never became a "tournament" team, I honestly expect them to have the 7 titles in a season record that has never been done before but they lost community shield this season, so I wondered one thing, is it the community shield they lost to Leicester this year that is the important one, or is it next seasons that goes into calculating?

So, let's assume that City wins the league, they win FA cup, and they win champions league, and they win caraboa cup etc etc, would that mean the super cups needs to be the ones at the start of the season or by early next season to be considered 7 cups in a year?

In any case, City already lost it this year, even if it is just because of caraboa cup, because they are out of that. With this much success in EPL and nothing else, it is starting to look a bit weird for them, like we know they are great, we see it in the league every season, how come they have hard time winning anything else?

Fa Cup games so much today, I get tired looking at the fixture.
I'll be down for the likes of Leicester City, Brentford, and Chelsea to win their games.
Chelsea should do so in the first half having a great time against Manchester City few days ahead.
Manchester City scoring four goals last night playing from away.
All the teams you mentioned above won it by 4-1 4-1 and 5-1 for chelsea.

damn must be nice odds for the handicap like -2.5 for all of them in multi.
chelsea have a tight schedule as none of the fixtures got postponed like others , pretty upset with FA who doing this to chelsea even we have asked them to cancel some match with chelsea players got covid few days ago.
the next two games for chelsea are against tottenham in a 2nd leg of league cup this wednesday and a very important match against manchester city 3 days after that.

It is true that Guardiola is doing a great job. Then the players are also great and they are having good results. But we should not forget one of the factors that  is contributing to their success, which is stability or peace of mind.
The coach is not under duress to perform or get sacked. The players are not getting threats or criticism from the fans, just as Pogba and Co are getting from Manchester United fans.
So, when the whole system is stable, the results would be positive.
