Southampton played really well, it was one of the best games I've ever seen. Manchester City had a lot of scoring chances, Southampton's goalkeeper's performance was tremendous and did not allow for a long time. There was also a goal that was not valid because it was offside.
Forster and Salisu were the star names of this match. Without these two players, Manchester City would have scored a lot more goals and would have won the match.

We saw that Manchester City were tired, they couldn't win the match despite so many chances. Although they maintain the leadership in the league, we saw that they lost such a point after a long time

There were excellent chances in the first half for Sterling and unfortunately, Sterling's finishing was very poor. I wouldn't say it was a particularly good game from Southampton - if you look at the stats it's clear they were just lucky, City completely outplayed them in every way but were unlucky in finishing. I would like to see some kind of failure in the quality of the game and in the results of City (so that at least a semblance of intrigue is revived), but objectively speaking, nothing of the kind is observed. City continues to dominate.

Seeing Man City 1 goal behind Southampton most of the game was disturbing. They managed to score at the second half and I was expecting another goal honestly but this doesn't happen and 1 point is better than nothing. I do not understand why you are comparing Manchester City with Liverpool with goals, can you please explain the reason. On the neutral ground, you can not compare both clubs together again this season in EPL, Manchester City is leading Liverpool with 12 points, this means if Manchester City loses 4 matches and Liverpool wins 4 matches will be when you can be using goals for comparison.

Watford are currently 1 point ahead of Norwich on the standings. I don't see Norwich City losing here, they are likely to win with a goal.

You were correct in predicting a Norwich win - I didn't expect a 3-0 score though.
It's getting interesting at the bottom now. Norwich with a 3-0 away win, Newcastle winning as well and with surely some big(ish) name players to arrive soon. So we start to look upwards... to Everton, who are sinking like a stone, with an unbelievable 6 points from I think their last 14 games.

Southampton took all the advantage of the eary goal scored by Walker-Peters and continued to defend that score till the majority of the game. They defended quite well against a big side like City. I am glad that cashed out my bet on City in the starting when the goal was scored and didn't put it in when the equalising goal was scored (was quite tempting then also).

Well better now as there is a chance of gap reduced on the table between City and Liverpool.

Firstly I have to say that the Southampton defense did exceptionally well to hold off the Manchester City attack for the whole match.

They got their early lead in the 7th minute by a goal from Peters but Manchester City equalized in the 65th minute - a goal from Laporte.

But with Manchester City drawing this game, EPL might get a bit more competitive as City seemed like they were winning everything. I would want Manchester City to lose the next game so EPL gets thrilling once again.

I think it is a big match. It would have been one-sided if Chelsea were in form now, as they were at the start of the season. Chelsea have not won the last 4 matches. They have managed to score only 6 points in the last 5 matches. Tottenham, on the other hand, are now in very good form. They scored 36 points in 19 matches. Manchester United and Chelsea have collected 36 and 44 points in 22 and 23 matches respectively.
If Tottenham win their next four matches, they could easily reach third place in the points table. This match is important for Tottenham because they want to go to the top-4 of the points table. And important for Chelsea because Chelsea now wants to get back on the winning track.

The most interesting match today is the London derby between Chelsea and Tottenham. I do not see any clear favorite of this match. The hosts are still high, third in the table, but have not won the last 4 matches. While losing points against opponents such as Liverpool and City is not surprising, the two draws against Brighton show a decline in Chelsea's form. Tottenham, on the other hand, is a regular winner in recent games. I find the odd @2.11 on X2 very attractive.

I won’t call it one of the best performances but it was decent and something Manchester United can definitely build upon, and now maybe it’s time to unleash Martial and Rashford in the starting lineup and see what impact they can make. Also I continue to feel bad for Van De Beek they won’t play him, and yet hang on to him why won’t they let him go to another club or give him some games to impress?.

Congrats to UTD for their win against an in-form Westhame team who were playing really well this season. Even though they are not in the top 4, Westham, Spurs, and Arsenal are still a threat to them as they are only 1,2, and 3 points behind UTD respectively. Westham especially poses a big threat to them with the steep 1 point gap. I think this 4th no. position would get interesting as 4 teams are capable of having a chance in the Champions League. Let's see who gets it.

The gap to Liverpool in second is 12 points... but Liverpool have 2 games in hand. If they win both of those, the gap is a much more manageable 6 points.
I am very surprised that City dropped points this weekend. And yes it will be interesting to see if they pick themselves up in their next match and get back to winning ways. Margins are small at the top of the league, and any dropped points, even a draw, could prove costly. It looked like City were going to walk away with the title, maybe this draw is the start of something?

Southampton really deserved that draw. They played well against Manchester city than some so called 'Big 6' teams. Even though Southampton couldn't take 3 points, I am totally proud of the Saints for their brilliant performances against ruthless City side. Salisu put in everything on this game I feel like he blocked everything city thrown at Southampton, but Manchester city played with intensity and determination. It's been a great learning experience. Southampton just showed a very good performance, sure a proper striker would obviously help but other than that Southampton played better football than expected. They know the area where we are gonna have to improve.

Manchester City's failure to achieve maximum results during a draw with Southampton is a distinct advantage for Liverpool who are currently in 2nd position. I think facing Crystal Palace should not be a difficult enough match for the Kops to get the three points and make the gap with Manchester City only 9 left. points only. However, Liverpool still has one game left and it could be a moment to reduce the points from City to 6 points if they succeed in achieving maximum results in the remaining two matches. Yes, there have been some improvements from Manchester United's game against Westham. Although the new goal was created in the extra time of the second half, but I appreciate it because Westham also played well. Antonio Conte hasn't made a mistake meaning never lost in the Premier League but against Chelsea away I think it's a tough challenge for Conte will he be able to prove and beat it at Stamford Bridge?

Four games down Chelsea with 3 draws and 1 loss obviously the squad is starting to decline and Tuchel is still trying to build on it, but Tottenham still want to catch up with him and I know Conte has a good strategy while in the EPL I think it will be an interesting game.
