This 2-0 win was really important for Chelsea as they couldn't win a game for 4 weeks in the league. They played dominantly against Tottenham and deserved it. They would have scored even more goals than this. And Ziyech was really marvelous. His goal was just spectacular and he was near scoring another one by a superb shot. He has been in-form these days and this helps the team a lot. Maybe Chelsea won't be able to chase Manchester City down for the championship but they can still end the season at the second place. But it seems really difficult as Liverpool are focused on catching up with Manchester City.

^ I think City have the best probability to win the league. Chelsea and Liverpool will hold 2nd and 4th place. The 4th place battle will be interesting to see. We have Spurs, Arsenal. Westham and UTD competing for the 4th position. I would absolutely love it if Westham makes it to the top 4 and reaches CL.

The match was really quite exciting, but unfortunately tottenham failed to provide a meaningful enough resistance to score a goal, besides the throw that occurred against rudiger by the tottenham fans obviously made the match a bit tarnished, I think football fans should now be able to act mature in support their team and bad action like that clearly cost their team a loss.

An important win for Chelsea. They beat their standing rivals Tottenham 2-0 yesterday. Thus, they secured their place in the top 4. Despite Liverpool missing 2 games, they are still ahead of Chelsea. Spurs left two points only from Manchester United and if success get six points from two left match will give opportunity for Spurs back to top four position and have 42 points above Manchester United only have 38 points. I know still have many games left but inconsistent performance by Manchester United make them not favorite will get finish with top four position. I have choose Spurs as favorite keep qualify for champion league next season with finish on to four position under Chelsea.

I think the fourth team in the points table will be Manchester United. We have so far despised the United team. Despite having many star players, their performance was irregular due to poor tactics. well manchester united are very lucky for the next games, they will be playing against very weak teams so i think they will be guaranteed to get 6 or 9 points but that doesn't convince me that they managed to finish in 4th position

yep, this is pretty good. they are now 9 points behind but still have a game in hand.
even though the city is still quite safe but this is quite good for liverpool because indeed they can reduce their current gap.
but on the other hand city will now face an easy match in the next round.

Manchester City's excellent streak has come to an end against Southampton, but they will make a new series. Even though the league is a bit more competitive, City is still the heavy favorite and I don't think they will leave the championship. Liverpool have an easy fixture in the coming days, they may get a little closer until their game against City in April. Chelsea is also very close by. When they are trying to be champions, they may fall down to third place. They shouldn't make any mistakes. We also should not forget Arsenal and Tottenham, they have missing matches as well.

The closing stages of EPL this season will be highly competitive especially among this three clubs Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea, the runner up are closing the gap on the league leader thus there is no room for any flop or dropping of points, it's obviously Man City still has some tough fixtures ahead of them which might make or mar their title aspiration, though it likely they will win the league however I believe it's better to keep them on their toes till the end of the season thus approach each of their matches with outmost seriousness and up their game.
