I'm still surprised what has really happened to Manchester City not to win against Southampton , well that's  football for you, winning can not always be on your side. They still did their best in the game.

I think Manchester City tired their best by equalizing the score. Although they were the favourite in the game, but unfortunately for them they couldn't win. Southampton did a great job by resisting City. The draw score came as a big surprise, because we all expected City to win as usual. However, despite losing the game, Manchester City are still leading the  Premier League table, and are currently 12 points from Liverpool. Southampton were indeed lucky today.

Seeing Man City 1 goal behind Southampton most of the game was disturbing. They managed to score at the second half and I was expecting another goal honestly but this doesn't happen and 1 point is better than nothing. Their good record was stopped by Southampton today, and they are 6 goals in front of Liverpool assuming they will win their 2 missed games.

And in the end Manchester City failed to maintain their winning streak today vs Southampton. I don't think they have to end this match with a draw because I can see that they dominate more than 70% possession but that doesn't guarantee them to win.

Indeed 1 point is much better than nothing so Manchester City can still maintain its unbeaten record. They still lead by quite a few points from their rivals, they are still safe and that's not at all unsettling.

I don't know what they lacked in this match, watched it live, it was strange because Manchester City seemed to be pressing all the time but the opponents were either defending well or City were doing something wrong. Liverpool are likely to win the next game, but with Leicester will have to struggle, because the Foxes play against such opponents very assertively, fight to the end and try to win, so it is possible that the gap will be not 6 points, but 9 or 10

Southampton holding Manchester city to a 1 all draw in 70 minutes who would have predicted this one... I guess these guys have had enough of losing and decided to flip the script by holding city, maybe they might actually go on to win this game lets watch this space... Come Southampton give these guys a game.

Southampton have given Manchester City a game with 75% ball possession so far and 1-1 as the provisional scoreline. I'm not sure about the draw, but maybe it would have been if Southampton hadn't made some defensive mistakes. But the possibility of Manchester City to win is still very possible even though there are 10 minutes remaining in this second half. I have a 1-2 prediction for Manchester City to win, but let's see if Manchester City disappoints me or makes me happy.

Today, Southampton defenders show their best performance, they deserve to get 1 point from this match.

Southampton has never been easy task for big clubs specially after their fight back in recent matches as they have 8 points from last five matches meaning they are in good shape for fighting back into middle of league table with very poor start of this season and having very poor results for very long time.

Today they were very good against top quality attack from Manchester city with these points now Liverpool having some good time for shortening this gape and having good fight for this year's title race even it's not easy but still good for these teams. In second half most of time Southampton were good in defense but sadly their players unable to stop Manchester City attack for having one valuable point from this match.

I've been waiting for them to not get full 3 points but I didnt expect that it would come from Southampton lol. Well this is not really going to affect them that much but atleast its a good start though, few more bad games for Manchester City then we'll see how it turns though. At the moment, it seems that City is winning the league and its kinda lame

It is unbelievable that Southampton is managing to reach positions equal to Leicester, last season Leicester were in a very good position, who could have imagined that this season licester would be fighting Southampton for positions 11 and 12 with the same points.

Virgin Time worked for the Devils this time, when he gifted them a hard-earned victory over West Ham at the last second with the feet of Rashford .
United was better along the line, but he missed the goal, that made him closer to conceding a goal in return, but Sochik's header, which refused to enter, Marcus met it from there with the embodiment and punished them for everything that was lost.
Defensively, the team is still there, but offensively, there is nothing wrong with the amount of danger that United created in the front slit  and we realize that some of that is calculated for Mr. Ralph when we see the effectiveness added by the substitutes upon their entry. But this draw today actually shows that Manchester City are not invincible. Anything can happen, Liverpool can catch up with Manchester City.

Yea, you are right the game was tough for Manchester city, Southampton  was really prepared for Manchester city that's why it was hard for Manchester city expecially in the first half . Am happy they managed to equalize the score.

Battle for top 4 and top 3 is getting tighter each matchday. Chelsea is still struggling while Man United's back-to-back keep their CL hopes alive. We'll just have to wait how Tottenham and Arsenal would end up after completing their games in hand.

Seeing Manchester United winning in the last hour gives me too much joy at heart.
Two goals in the last two games for Marcus Rashford, I'm just happy, Harry Maguire was excellent today, winning over 98 percent of his tackles.
The midfield and defender's did more of the job today, too many forward passes from Fred and less ball losses.. Mac tominay playing for Manchester United with all of he's heart. Big applause to Diego Dalot

United wins it late thanks to Marcus Rashford! The attack was completed by Bruno, Ronaldo, Martial, Cavani, and Rashford. Maguire impressed me a lot. Harry Maguire had a great game and the team worked very hard. Let's go, United! It was just what the fans wanted to see, good football, dominating play all around.

Southampton were brave, 4-4-2 formation two big strikers. They deserved that point for the energy and non stop pressing and with a bit of fortune could have somehow won the game. Raph has set up a proper organization and as for Salisu he is the rock at the back, they deserve to win it but fair results at the end. Manchester city had over 70℅ of the Ball's possession, that to me is impressive. They gave their all & that's what the Manager needed. He's a brilliant coach. Unlike some other coaches that would have blamed VAR or Referee for not giving a penalty or Red for that tackle on Laporte. Some coaches would have even blamed Southampton to parking the bus.

I still hope Manchester City continue to extend their winning streak, but Southampton made everything a dream. Left behind 0-1 in the 7th minute through Kyle Walker made Manchester City have to fight hard to catch up. In the 65th minute Aymeric Laporte made Pep Guardiola a little relieved. The draw at Mary's Stadium has no effect on Manchester City at the top of the standings, because the difference in points with Chelsea who is in 2nd position is quite far.

Southampton played really well, it was one of the best games I've ever seen. Manchester City had a lot of scoring chances, Southampton's goalkeeper's performance was tremendous and did not allow for a long time. There was also a goal that was not valid because it was offside.
Forster and Salisu were the star names of this match. Without these two players, Manchester City would have scored a lot more goals and would have won the match.

We saw that Manchester City were tired, they couldn't win the match despite so many chances. Although they maintain the leadership in the league, we saw that they lost such a point after a long time
