I have been watching whole game liverpool against manchester city. Liverpool was doing so well by scoring two goals but city has been doing better than liverpool by making the third goal from heading. That's why liverpool was not luck enough caused by the defender was wrongly calculate the pass that was really accurate to be headed by city's player. UCL is still very long. EPL will come soon but there will be some changes going to happen just like liverpool that may get new defender gvardiol as its new player.
That will make the defensive line of liverpool become even stronger. Salah has been the best against city. He was making a goal. Liverpool's effort must be appreciated.

Liverpool played well. It is just that the midfield and the defence was woeful. Honestly Klopp need to do a huge work on the back line failure. All 3 easy goals come from there. Klopp need to do something with Gomez and Robertson. You can't allow your opponent wingers beat you and go freely. Nunez got fantastic pace but need to go super crazy on shoot accuracy. He need to start writing that and he will be liverpool new era if he conqure it.

The team he built was specifically designed for his purposes, he has a formation and a system which is gegenpress and he perfected it and built a team around it which gave them a title and even one UCL which City doesn't even have even after 4 titles.

I think it's quite important to also note that whatever tactic you play with, eventually people figure it out and beat you with it. Tiki-taka was the best one for a while, destroyed everyone, know look at it, Mourinho parked the bus, he is no longer at Real or anything but Roma, trying to hope for an UCL entry. Gegenpress was awesome, but people already figured it out, they need to change it already.

Liverpool not priority with EFL Cup and eliminated early make them have many time for taking rest than Manchester City will have busy match schedule later, actually when EFL Cup result draw will play for second leg. I think Liverpool have focus with Primer League right now after have bad started and left many points from  Arsenal.

I don't agree with your assumption, every competition they participate in should be important and also a priority. It's true that the EFL Cup isn't bigger than the Premier League and Champions League, but that doesn't mean these competitions aren't important to win. To be honest, I don't really like that kind of assumption when big team seem to lose to qualify for the quarter-finals.

Every competition is important but a like Liverpool usually have their own competition priority, just the same like as most other big teams.
It is proven that most big teams wont use their main squad when they play on low priority competition such as EFL.
Most big teams use such competition to give opportunity for their young squad to play and at the same time to give rest for the main squad.
I dont think it is an assumption but it is a fact that you can see yourself in that competitions.

Manchester City still have back to top performance after remaining 5 points from Arsenal have consistency performance and managed top standing position.

The league is still long, changing positions in the standings is still very possible. Of course Manchester City needs to improve their form to stay close to Arsenal, they need to win match and that will open up more opportunities to take the top spot from Arsenal.

I agree that the Premier League is still quite long, which means that the fight for a winner is still wide open for the top 10 teams. Maybe Arsenal is currently at the top of the standings with 37 points, but it does not rule out the possibility that Liverpool, who are in 6th place in the standings, can catch Arsenal in the future. Even though Arsenal is doing very well in the middle of this season, it is possible that after January has passed, teams like Manchester City, Newcastle United and Tottenham will be able to grow very quickly in 2023.

I wonder how excited and ambitious Chelsea players are now. If I were in their place I would have looked forward to playing our next match in the league and get a win finally. Because Chelsea couldn't get any win for five weeks. They scored only 2 goals in total in these matches which is just horrible. This isn't the Chelsea we have known so far that's for certain. Tuchel's departure and Potter's arrival haven't changed anything at all for now. I know that Potter still needs time but Chelsea are getting away from top 4 week by week.

The fans wouldn't expect less than a ticket to the Champions League. As long as they don't win the Champions League title this season surprisingly, their job is really hard to make it there next season.

Surely we have our own analysis and views on matches that are interesting to watch. But among the matches above, the Arsenal vs West Ham match will be an interesting match in my opinion.

I think all the matches that all the teams in the first five position before the break have, are all important games as these games will also determine if the teams are set to continue in the same manner they ended before the breaks. Arsenal, Manchester City, Newcastle, Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United before the break were first to fifth respectively with the teams in second to fifth having very close difference in points. All the games will be exciting as the teams will be hoping not to loose their positions on the table this early in the second start to the league.

I don't see Newcastle dropping points anytime soon because with the kind of players they have and the kind of team spirit in the camp at the moment,their main target is to remain in the top four or better still,win the premier league.Anything is possible in football,they might be waiting for just a slide from Arsenal to close up the gap they have between them,Manchester city and Arsenal.
Although I know this will be impossible to do but we can't just rule it out,whereas Tothenham are behind Newcastle and want to overtake them by all means,but with the way I'm seeing things the season, Newcastle might finish above Totthenham,Liverpool,and Chelsea.

I can't wait to see the EPL restart, and also see the match between Newcastle vs Leicester City. in this match I'm sure newcastle will make another surprise, they will definitely win, newcastle is an unexpected team, they have performed very well so far

I can say Ten Hag is doing a great job so far by putting the team together but looking at the big clubs that are coming for Rashford, Manchester United will be in big trouble when the January window when it opens. They can only hope Rashford will decide to remain loyal to United or accept a big money move to PSG to play with the best players in the world which every other player dreams of. I think it may come to Rashford picking ambition or loyalty to the club.

Not sure Rashford would want to go to PSG, but if Rashford is only concerned about money then maybe. But if Rashford does want to be a main player, then it looks like playing at PSG will only make Rashford a second choice and that means, if Rashford plays at PSG then Rashford must be prepared to be on the bench more often.
Therefore, I am sure Rashford will stay at Manchester United because under Erik ten Hag's coaching at Manchester United at least Rashford can become a key player for Erik ten Hag.

So, if Rashford does have considerations to continue playing in the starting eleven, then settling at Manchester United is the right choice. Because after all, Manchester United under the coach of Erik ten Hag has also been able to stay in the top five so far which of course is something great.
Because it would be useless if Rashford earns a high fee but is only a substitute player, because I think PSG are not short of players for their attack line. So yes, settling down at Manchester United and rising with the team, of course that would be great for his long term career with Manchester United.

Here are some of the matches that will be presented this week:

Glad to see that EPL is coming back again after carabao cup. It seems like that some matches like aston villa vs liverpool and arsenal vs west ham were so easy to predict which team that will be winning the match. That's easy points for arsenal.
West ham was on the 16th position and arsenal can win easily against west ham. I just wanna see how good the performance from arsenal against west ham once arsenal will be playing without gabriel jesus as a striker.
Will it give great impact to the arsenal's performance? Arsenal will be facing easy team.

I feel Arsenal will win this match. Gabriel Jesus' role as Arsenal striker who is rumored to be injured could be replaced by Edward Nketiah.

The Arsenal vs West Ham match has the potential to be a London derby match that has the opportunity to be more exciting this week compared to other London derbies.
If we refer to the temporary standings, West Ham United's position is 16th, but The Hammers will certainly not make it easy for Arteta to extend Arsenal's victory this season even though the match will take place at Emirates Stadium. Moreover, in a friendly match against Juventus a few days ago Arsenal lost 0-2 at their stadium.

I feel Arsenal will win this match. Gabriel Jesus' role as Arsenal striker who is rumored to be injured could be replaced by Edward Nketiah.

In the two friendly matches, it seems that Eddie Nketiah has not found good performance. He couldn't score or assist his team's win, but of course he contributed to a some of things. Eddie Nketiah doesn't look good as a substitute for the injured Jesus, so Arteta should be able to think of another strategy against West Ham.

If Arsenal are able to win, approximately can the score will be over 2?

It's  not a surprise anymore with the way Newcastle are performing and how poor Leicester are performing. Newcastle should be able to win this easily but I expect Leicester to change their momentum after the World Cup as I don't expect them to relegate at the end of the season. Newcastle on other hand also should be targetting to keep their momentum going on still. It's a tough game  but Newcastle seems to be the likely one although a part of me also supports Leicester here too.

I sincerely do not think so, i know Newcastle currently occupy third position in the League standings, and that's an amazing feat they have been able to achieve, but mind you that it's just 14/15 games played in the League thus far, with so many more games yet to be played. There are quite a lot of strong teams vying to finish in the top four position, these teams are far stronger than Newcastle and i think they will knock Newcastle out of the top four spot, at best Newcastle might finish 5th and qualify for the Europa League, but to get a CL ticket for next season seems too much for them to achieve. There is the big 6 in the league which is: City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Spurs, the top four would definitely be made up of four teams from the big 6.

At the moment Chelsea is still far behind from the top standings, the team is difficult to fix by Potter and this takes a long process to get back on a good track while the management team is still trying to improve the quality of their game, just look at before the league break there was no victory won Chelsea for 5 matches isn't it very sad to see it being left behind by the top teams, so it's getting more and more difficult to get champions league tickets.

So the only thing that can improve is Potter as the caretaker of this strategy, it must be optimized after the league starts.
I also hope there will be changes once the league starts for Chelsea.

When expecting Newcastle to win, you should also evaluate Leicester City's performance. You might be right, but Leicester City is also strong, so don't be surprised if the game ends in a draw. When expecting Newcastle to win, you should also evaluate Leicester City's performance. You might be right, but Leicester City is also strong, so don't be surprised if the game ends in a draw. Yeah one shouldn't undermine Brendan Rodgers and his squad . They have a great squad with very good players like Barnes, Maddison, Tielemans, Vardy, Iheanacho who can bring the winning momentum again for the Foxes. It will be although difficult against Neecastle given how Magpies have been playing recently but Leicester also are capable of giving them a hard time.

The question is  will Newcastle be able to pick up where they left off and recapture that momentum, belief and positive feeling around the club that propelled them to those heights? Certainly, if Newcastle can hit the ground running on their return, they have a favourable run of fixtures to capitalise on. I see them remaining in the top 5 till the end of season. The good news from the team's perspective is that none of their players were overworked or went beyond the quarter-finals in Qatar, so they have fresh legs to continue from where they stopped.

Everton are still having hard days in the Premier League. Nothing much has changed for them since the end of the previous season. They are just above the relegation zone for now. Lampard must be really worried about relegating from the league for real this time. Their losing some important players like Richarlison has made things even more difficult for them.

They have a Wolves game ahead and Wolves are in an even worse condition than them. This is a good chance for Everton to win and take a deep breath. Maybe it might not be a comfortable win but I think they can do this.

Honestly,  I really pitty Chelsea in that position they're currently occupying in the Premier league. Chelsea needs do lots of job and needs stay consistency in their winings to get out of that position, hence they are definitely gonna lose the ticket for the next Champions League competition if time is not taken.

Honestly,  I really pitty Chelsea in that position they're currently occupying in the Premier league. Well they shouldnt have sacked Tuchel so easily. The guy won them the champions league and one bad season start and you sack a coach. Football sometimes isnt fair at all. Liverpool made a good decision to keep Klopp after all he has done for the club

No, I think the score will be a draw.

Arsenal match against West Ham was the first game where Gabriel Jesus was not in the starting eleven because he had to rest due to an injury that befell him. therefore I think arteta will be a little dizzy for Arsenal front line when facing West Ham. like it or not, maybe Eddie Nketiah will be in the starting eleven. therefore I have a little doubt that Arsenal's performance after the world cup will be compared to the start of this season. Arsenal's improved performance is none other than the great contribution made by Gabriel Jesus at the start of this season and it must be admitted. Gabriel Jesus was able to make Saka more efficient in finishing. Therefore, I think they will have difficulties against West Ham. It could even be that this match will be a strong bet that the end result will be a draw.
