The match strategy was very bad. But new coach Mauricio Pochettino may have managed to solve this problem. Chelsea's match strategy was very good in this match. I could not get my eyes off the Blues and I was really impressed by the way they made the game flow from the defense line to the attack. Speaking about attack, Jackson has turn the Chelsea team to something better than last season where they have jokers running around like some kind of headless chicken, the player (JACKSON) was everywhere creating chances trying to get a goal and it made the midfielders and wingers to keep running without stopping and getting the ball in the box. Is best they continue like this who knows they might be a threat to other teams in the EPL.

Saying they are a surprise club is not wrong, but considering they have done better in the past it should not be a surprise as we all know the big name of Chelsea. They bought McAllister but the match with Chelsea shows that the midfielder played well, not too bad. I don't see big problems from McAllister but the defense system of Liverpool must be improved. Van Dijk is no longer able to play well and he is too slow that caused some dead points in Liverpool defense. Liverpool must replace Van Dijk or have better team mates who can cover some defensive weakness from Van Dijk.

Its not too easy to sum up the performance in the first game and we can not compare Chelsea performance last season with this season based only on the first game at the start of the season. we have to wait for a few games and then we can see if Pochettino will be successful in getting Chelsea back up after slumping last season and even though several new players have been recruited, there is little doubt that Chelsea will get stronger this season.
yesterday's match seemed very strong when Chelsea tried to defend and attack Liverpool goal but that does not mean Liverpool did not show their strength, its just that this first match maybe Liverpool just tried to survive and see the strategy Pochettino used to beat in the upcoming match.

I think it is the other way around mate, Liverpool did everything possible to curtail the blazing Chelsea team. I think both clubs are building a stable squad and they will keep improving as they play more games. But the absence of Nkunku was felt on the Chelsea side. Chelsea lacked a player that will fearlessly face defenders and have great chances or even cause penalties. Both teams can have the quality to play any club in the English premier league. But the most exceptional player in Chelsea for me was Conor Gallagher. He performed above my expectation with is tireless runs and accurate tackles.

Jackson has a long journey to show his ability in Chelsea but fortunately, he will get support from Caicedo who was bought from Brighton. Chelsea are seriously improving in this summer and they are really ready for a new season. The draw against Liverpool is only a beginning for Chelsea and they will be back in this season.

Jackson needs to learn how to be clinical. He should learn how to utilize clear chances because they rarely come easily. He wasted some good chances yesterday that would have given them an advantage. Caicedo is a midfielder that will support the Chelsea attack but Jackson should improve fast because the club will be without Nkunku for some time.

The reshuffling of most players also for both clubs at the moment makes them transitional clubs in my opinion.
The Chelsea players this season can be said to be new again in terms of players, adaptations and coaching schemes because they always try to make some changes before which makes it complicated and this season they also removed a lot of core players last season so this is the initial process for them.
The same goes for Liverpool. Szoboszlai and MacAllister still need to get used to the scheme and the new club but looking at the performances of these two players is actually quite good in my opinion.

Before the league started and the preseason matches were been played, I noticed a lot of changes in the Chelsea’s game and how coordinated and improved they are compared to the last season. I was not having much doubt that Chelsea will not do well this season. Some doubts will definitely come in since they’re going to be playing with Liverpool who were better than them as of last season, but after the match my confidence for them has increased significantly again and I see them as potential club for title contenders this season if they continue playing in this manner. The premier league will be very interesting this season as many clubs are showing competency of potential title winners.

But luckily Manchester United still have a lot of great players in the club. And Rasmus Hojlund's absence on the pitch shouldn't impact the club much at this time. And I also think that in today's game against Wolves, Manchester United should be able to make good use of it and get full points.

I also believe that they’ll take advantage of this match to earn their first three points this season. They will be playing from home which is an added advantage for them. I hope they utilize today’s chance and get a good start for the premier league this season.
