I think Man United must have high expectations this season because they have spent a lot of money to bring in several new players (Mason Mount, Andre Onana, and Rasmus Hojlund). The match against Wolves is a good opportunity for Man United to get a great start. This should be an easy victory for Man United because they will be playing at home and I guess they will have high motivation to win. I personally hope to see Hojlund's debut in this first fight but it doesn't look like he will be played by Ten Hag due to fitness constraints.

It's a shame that it seems like Rasmus Hojlund won't be able to make his first debut in the first and second matches in the Premier League this season. Due to his fitness issues it looks like he will need at least 2 to 3 weeks for him to recover properly. So for the match against Wolves it is certain that Rasmus Hojlund will not play. It is even reported that in the second match against Tottenham Rasmus Hojlund will remain absent. And it's estimated that Rasmus Hojlund will start making his debut in Week 3 against Nottingham Forest.

But luckily Manchester United still have a lot of great players in the club. And Rasmus Hojlund's absence on the pitch shouldn't impact the club much at this time. And I also think that in today's game against Wolves, Manchester United should be able to make good use of it and get full points.

Playing without Rasmus won't mean anything for The United Squad against wolves because the manchester united Squad looks for balanced and they don't currently have any key player on injury marcus Rashford is currently in a good form and Gernacho as well and if you noticed their matches in pre-season  Matheus Antony is beginning to pick and performanced better than last season  and they now have a keeper in person of Onana that would help them from the build up to make a quick counter attack against smaller teams.

 Luckily for them the transfer window is still on and they could likely get another striker if Anthony Martial connection with Westham becomes real, this is going to be a good test for Erik Ten Hag to know if he still need some work done at some other areas of the squad depth, but i know United would have a good performance and whether they do or not more signings would definitely come in before the window closes.

I'm expecting a lot from this match especially and I've also included Manchester United as one of my multi favourite bets for the first match in the EPL.



The issue of Wolves still not finding common ground and still in transition from a change of coach a few days before the EPL opens obviously makes my hopes realised for this one.

On the other hand, looking at the current H2H I think Manchester United will definitely make some good noise because in the last 5 matches of Manchester United against Wolves the result is Manchester United won 4 and lost 1.

Manchester united is the favourite club to win this match. I don't think that wolves will be able to win the match because from the last matches played between these two clubs were in favour of united. I will place my bet on the red devils because I have the confidence in them. Eric Hag has done his best to make the club lively and strong last season but I expect to see a stronger Man United this season because of this season will make it the second season that Eric Hag will coach the club and there will be much improvement in the performance of the players compared to last season.

There is no doubt that we can all agree that Manchester United are the favorites in this match even bookies predict that Manchester United will win by 2 goals or more on paper the Manchester united squad is much better apart from that they are playing at home so it's normal they're favourites. This season, Wolves have released one of their mainstay players to the Saudi League Ruben Neves, but they also brought in another player for almost the same price he is Matheus Cunha from Atletico Madrid, we'll see what he can do for Wolves.

On the other hand as you said we are also waiting for Rasmus Hojlund's first debut as well as his first experience playing in the Premier league, I hope he's not surprised because the competition in Serie A is different to the Premier League.

The cohesiveness of Erik Ten Hag's squad will be tested in this match and even though they are the favorites because they are playing at home, it's better not to underestimate Wolves. At the moment Manchester United wants to achieve better targets and new players like Mason Mount or Rasmus Hojlund are expected to be the difference in this game. Wolves have just lost their captain figure to go to the saudi league for taking a big salary offer and even so as an underdog they can still make it difficult for the red devils. I think the score will end in a narrow win for Manchester United.

Its not too easy to sum up the performance in the first game and we can not compare Chelsea performance last season with this season based only on the first game at the start of the season. we have to wait for a few games and then we can see if Pochettino will be successful in getting Chelsea back up after slumping last season and even though several new players have been recruited, there is little doubt that Chelsea will get stronger this season.
yesterday's match seemed very strong when Chelsea tried to defend and attack Liverpool goal but that does not mean Liverpool did not show their strength, its just that this first match maybe Liverpool just tried to survive and see the strategy Pochettino used to beat in the upcoming match.

Yeah I agree with you when you say a team's overall performance shouldn't be summed up by their first performance of the season. However, I think Chelsea's performance yesterday is testament of the fact that the club has really improved since Mauricio Pochettino took the managerial position of the club.

Chelsea's performance this week has made sense, and I've noticed that they're going to be among the best teams in the Premier League this year based on the way they're recruiting new players before the season even begins. I also noticed that Chelsea has some good plans in the works that will boost the team's performance. We all know that Liverpool is a very big team in the Premier League, and they have been challenged by Chelsea. I was really impressed by their performance, in my opinion, and if they can continue with their great form, I believe it will be easy to predict early that the teams will end up in the top four, but I will like to see how their performance will be over five matches. Many people are saying that they are expecting Manchester City and Arsenal to be their first choice of favorite teams to win the Premier League, but with some teams performances, I think it is too early to say that.

Every club have a targets this season, making the entire league very competitive, only the best clubs with improved performance will qualify for the essential spots on the table, while the ones that failed go compete as expected would be relegated. Every club have made and lose points in their opening game, except for Manchester united and Wolves, their game is tonight. I give credits to Manchester United, they are favorites to come out victorious, because they have put alot of working project in the club.

It's too early to judge though but in my opinion Chelsea did not impress me, they had made numerous signings and to Liverpool who did not make as much signing as they did to be leading them in the game before Chelsea came back to pull back a draw.

You can't compare Chelsea's performance in yesterday's match with the way they performed last season, they spent lots of money last season, but their performance was really poor. I know Chelsea made numerous signings this season, but we can see the effect of the money they spent. It's going to take a little time before the players fully adapt to the team. Liverpool didn't make many signings, but they already have quality players, and we all know Liverpool to be a dangerous club. Pochettino is just trying to rebuild Chelsea, and I think the strategy he is using will definitely work for the team. Chelsea had lots of opportunities yesterday, and I am impressed with their performance.

The league may be early but it has already started taking shape, I would put my money on the potentials of the league title being dragged between Manchester city and arsenal and Newcastle would still make it to the top four. And the next position might now be between Liverpool, Chelsea and Manchester united.

I don't think Chelsea is aiming for the league this season, and I haven't seen any of their fans saying they want to win the league this season. All I know they are fighting for is to qualify for the Champions League, and if Chelsea continues with their current performance, I am sure they will end the season in a better position.

I wasn't expecting them to perform so well in today's match, I was expecting a win from Liverpool, but it wasn't really an easy match for the two clubs. Chelsea have not made many acquisitions this season compared to last year where they bought €450 million worth of players. This year's purchases were much more modest.

Last season the composition was different from this season the players who were detrimental had been kicked out by Erik Ten Hag, so with this positive thing we are a little hopeful of good results. However, I am not sure of Manchester United victory in tonight's match. This is because Manchester United did not do very well in the pre-season matches and again, Manchester United is known for having poor start of every season. I don't know if Erik 10 can make a difference this time around.

I agree with you that this season Chelsea will prove to everyone and fans that they can bounce back from past problems which are very bad far from what was expected even though they failed very much last season but the belief in the confidence in every Chelsea player is very visible and in the last game too it's been amazing for me.

I knew the match likely be a draw and stated it in one of my post yesterday because both clubs had poor performance last season and wouldnt want to start the new season with a defeat, Chelsea on the other hand just got a new coach and even bought a good number of talented players to back him up so I thought he would likely want to impress his the club owners by starting with a good record agsinst Liverpool, Klopp on the other hand would not want to lose at the beginning of the season
 If you noticed Chelsea played better than the previous season and with some of their key players injured they still managed a draw against Liverpool it's show they're ready and got a better coach with good Premier league experience that would help them challenge for a trophy or the top 4 this season.
