I don't see any chance for totenham to be able to beat newcastle. Newcastle's performance is better than totenham. Look at what happened with first goal by newcastle. The goal keeper from totenham was doing a very wrong thing by going forward to get the ball outside of penalty area.
The defensive players of totenham were doing nothing too. totenham's performance was so bad in that match. No doubt if totenham lose against newcastle. Im sure that totenham fans will be blaming referee

As a Tottenham Hotspur fan am not blaming the referee but I channel my blame to the coach Antonio Conte, I know he lost two important player like kulusevski and Richarlison to injury but that shouldn't stop him to stick with the formation that has been giving him victories and allowing his team to play better,he should have replaced those two with Lucas moura and Bryan Gil, but he choose to add another midfielder and makes his team to change style of play which they are not use to, is not a coincidence that he has lost the last two games since changing formation and playing bisouma in the midfield to compliment bentaccur and holjberg, is not working he should go back to 3-4-3.

I'm a little surprised what caused Tottenham to experience a decline in performance, losing 2-1 to Newcastle was really beyond prediction. I bet for them in this match but it's really unlucky. MU and Chelsea's points are getting closer to them, there is a possibility that their position will be shifted if they continue to lose.

Tottenham should have been able to beat Newcastle but maybe there was a movement that made Tottenham's defense weak and read by the coach from Newcastle so they took advantage of that to score the second goal, Newcastle had not many chances but they managed to take advantage of it and get a win against a great club like Tottenham.

Tottenham comes from two lost games and the moral is clearly down,they need to win at all costs now the upcoming game in the Champions League in order for them to forget about such happenings in the Premier League.I think no one should blame Conte but acknowledge that Newcastle has been only improving their quality as a team from game to game and they are getting results.

Tottenham had the best start in many years in Premier League and as such we cannot blame Conte yet for just two lost games against relatively strong opponents.

This is a sign that this premier league title will be difficult for Arsenal to embrace in this season, because many people predicted for the favour of Arsenal to defeat Southampton 2-0, but the match later turned to a draw match 1-1. I think, Arsenal coach need to work on their strikers before their next match because their strikers really missed many opportunities that could have allow them to achieve victory from Southampton. Southampton coach really prepared his players very well, because their defenders made the match difficult for Arsenal strikers to achieve many goals from the match.

And because Arsenal only got a draw from the game against Southampton then this is actually very unfortunate. because with this draw, Arsenal became unable to widen the difference in points with Manchester city. even though if Arsenal can win this match then the difference in points between Arsenal and Man city will be more. then of course with this it provides an opportunity for manchester city to reclaim the top of the standings if Man city can continue to win in the next match. but for the title then I still can't predict which team will take it this season and even though Arsenal are now at the top. but indeed by looking at the results of this match we can say that Arsena may not necessarily be able to stay at the top of the standings until the end of the season. unless Arsenal can be more consistent in showing their best performance in the next matches.

Finally, the pace of the Gunners had to be stopped by Southampton with a score of 1-1.  not a satisfactory result, after 8 matches Arsenal always progressed with victory in all competitions.

Mikel Arteta, has to work hard in the Premier League with a player injury crisis and a fairly busy schedule. the game, Arsenal dominated in the first half. however, the Gunners lost their rhythm in the second half.
and Southampton were able to rise to level the score at 1-1. with this result, Arsenal must be willing to share one point with the home team.
only two points adrift of Manchester City in the standings, making the league feel even more competitive.

Although spurs intention was a comeback in the second half but the magpies didn't create chances for them as they block all areas defensively. I get it, Spurs are suffering because of Kulesevki and Richardlison who are injured and they are the frontlines that always do the winning for Spurs. Anthonio Conte have not been happy in their past two games and would do better in the champions league game.

Two consecutive defeats that Tottenham have received in two consecutive weeks, this is increasing dangerous if not corrected, Spurs are getting closer to the point difference with rivals Newcastle, Chelsea and United, despite only playing eleven games, currently Tottenham are under great pressure, following the results bad in the previous two games.
Anthonio Conte must be able to refresh and rotate injured players, so that in the next match they do not lose again and do not lose points again.

Tottenham risks losing their top 4 position as they suffer two consecutive defeats, and their point gap continues to shrink! Conte needs to change, his tactics are so horrible to watch, which is only draining the club. With a win against Tottenham, Newcastle United enters the top four. Seeing Newcastle in the Champions League is what I see as a realistic goal. What a transformation Newcastle has undergone in a year. Losing points like this is a big problem for Arsenal.  It's okay if they get these draws in big games, but if you lose 2 points against Southampton, you will have to hand over the leadership after a while.  Especially when there's a monster like Haaland in Manchester City behind you.  Haaland, who has done incredible work on the forward line, is constantly earning points that will carry Manchester City to the top.  If Arsenal make a few more mistakes, I think Manchester City will easily pass them.

1-2 for the full time , the home team tottenham get the huge loss to protect their place at the top 4 ... they might get down to outside the top 4 in the next couple of matches , newcastle already spotted in the 4th unexpectedly and they could have spend billions dollar in the next transfer window if they are eyeing premier league trophy and a long term project one , more than just a growing investment for the arab money.

Now Tottenham has third defeat in their last five matches with this result they can suffer badly in coming days because few weeks back they were the strong contender for the title but now with current performance they can lose their spot in top four and can go down which could be big disaster for them because if they fail to have better spot in this season then surely they can lose their coach and main striker Harry Kane which is currently Bayern Munich's top target for the next season.

Conte which was doing good job and fans were hoping for good result suddenly things are going against them and these two defeats surely going to have big impact on their chance of staying at the top four with Newcastle United is also on good run and have fair chance to challenge top teams which are also at their best but not expected results coming in this season.

This season Newcastle's performances have improved tremendously under the tutelage of Eddie Howe. So far, they have only experienced one defeat. The victory over Tottenham is a valid proof that the Magpies are no longer a mediocre club without targets. Now Newcastle has managed to perch in the fourth position in the standings table.

Meanwhile, Tottenham are in a bad period after swallowing two consecutive defeats. I'm still shocked with the result from the Liverpool game against Nottingham, how Nottingham Forest managed to hold Liverpool down to a clean sheet is still a wonder to me. This is the height of the poor performances for Liverpool this season I don't think it can get any worse than this. Klopp really needs to do some work to improve the team, even if it requires making big money signings it has to be done to revive the team's confidence.

It's really disappointing what Tottenham have achieved in their 12th match. Yes because they lost because they made a lot of mistakes they shouldn't have. That makes them have to swallow the bitter results at home. Newcastle who came as a guest could actually play better and succeed to take advantage of every mistake that Tottenham did. The last two weeks have been disappointing for Tottenham.

I am not surprised that Newcastle United defeated Tottenham. People are still counting Newcastle as a small club but I have been watching them closely and understood that they are doing wonders even with some of their key players being injured, they are still able to score high amount of goals.
After I watched their match against Manchester United I noticed that the team has really improved and they are strong contenders for Europa this season.
Tottenham must have tried their best but they are not stronger than Newcastle as of last week they played.

Great football by Newcastle. They had a stunning performance that subdued Tottenham. Although both teams played their best game and the better side won. Am amazed by Newcastle's style of play, their outstanding defence(their defence is second to none) and their creative attack this season. I can't believe that Tottenham has lost their two straight matches just like that. Are they going to make it to the top 4 this season? I thought Arsenal could have won by a landslide, but Southampton went above and beyond and held off a club that they said could break the curse and would still shine. This is certainly a sign that the top of the standings will soon be taken over by Man City. It is possible that after being held to a draw Arsenal will be worried that Man City will move faster than they thought.

In fact both blunders made by Tottenham players were only made by one player and that was their goalkeeper Hugo Lloris, because the second goal also Hugo Lloris tried to pass the ball but somehow the pass was not perfect which was able to cut off by Newcastle players and also became the second goal for Newcastle. Also, it's not about Tottenham playing badly because indeed, I've said before that their goalkeeper sometimes makes blunders. It happened again in this match, so I'm no longer surprised if their goalkeeper makes another blunder because it seems to have become a common occurrence.

Liverpool have spent a lot of money this season by signing Nunez but unfortunately, Nunez's performance is still not as expected. Also, sometimes every team will indeed play with good gameplay only when playing against a top team and yes, for example like Nottingham can play well against Liverpool as a top team. But when a top team who is having a declining performance like Liverpool, will also play well against a top team whose condition is indeed better than him, for example in the previous match where Liverpool were able to beat Manchester City.

Every other club in England has lost in their matches including Manchester City. So losing match in England is not something new. Meanwhile it was not even lost that Arsenal had, it was a draw so we should stop crucifying them and allow them to concentrate and play more to remain at the top of the table.
Even Manchester City is not sure of winning their next match no matter whoever they're playing that is the nature of English Premier League now.

if you look at what Klopp has done for Liverpool over the last 5 years of course we all believe he will also do the same when the situation is difficult as it is today but from the series of results received this season I doubt the Liverpool team will be able to bounce back this season .
bringing in new players in the upcoming transfer market is indeed something that must be done but the current players also have good quality,
I think it's all in Klopp's hands to be able to unify his strategy with the quality of the players he has.

I'm not surprised of Liverpool performance because Liverpool has really not been stable this season. In their recent match they play very impressive but I can still conclude that Liverpool has not yet improved to be like the way they used to be last season.

Considering how bad West Ham have been, I hoped for some better odds on them winning. I'm quite sure they will though - they are a top 10 team after all and will pull themselves out of the bottom soon.
Today is a perfect game for that - Bournemouth have been slightly overachieving so far and I feel that WH is a much better team overall.

Something truly admirable happened yesterday in the Wolves - Leicester game as well - Jamie Vardy became the first player in the PL that scored 100 goals after his 30th birthday. His story is truly remarkable and I'm thrilled that it paid off for him.

Tottenham have lost two straight matches,it was an unlucky day for the team as they were defeated at home by Newcastle. All the two goals where scored in the first half . Kane is still keeping his game up showing he is a marvelous striker by scoring a wonderful goal 9 minutes after the second half started.Harry Kane is the second highest goal scorer in Tottenham, he has scored a total of 259 goals in 402 matches appearance since 2010 till date. Kane will never be forgotten in Tottenham in history. I don't think he will be able to win the golden boot this season,as the highest goal scorer because Haaland has just started scoring with a total of 17 goals presently.

Asernal are still topping the table even though they drew their match yesterday,it was an away match so I guess a one point draw is OK. it was surprising at the results of yesterday games,some big teams haven't secured their position in the top 5
