I find it extremely hard to make any assumptions about teams before the season starts or when they performed very well for one single season and then go into the next one with very high hopes. Arsenal is also a team like Napoli as both performed much better than they expected. But can they maintain their level? it won't be easy for both teams as it can go both ways of course. Arsenal found out that 73 points after 30 games are hardly enough to become the champion if they can't win the vast majority of the remaining games. That has a psychological impact for them that can't be underestimated. If they don't have a head start this season again with 5 games and 5 wins, they could quickly be packed with doubt whether it is even possible this season as they know what it needs to be at the top in the end. Manchester City will most likely again be the team that must be beaten and while it is hard to make assumptions about other teams, it is easier for Manchester City to expect that they will again end the season in the 90 points range.

Yes, I understand that and we are here talking about opportunity because the official matches of the 2023-24 season have not yet start, so the results of the pre-season tour is the only reference for their effectiveness of their work in improve the club during the transfer market. There is nothing great like having a good guy in your team, Kyle is a very great defender that knows when to protect his defensive area, this is why Bayern are pushing to have him so they can develop their defensive midfield but considering his age again, I think he has played enough in Etihad, he has never played for Germany before and if that is his choice, so be it.

Today’s game between these two teams was a very fierce and interesting one. After the game, Xavi expressed his shocking reaction to how much Arsenal took the game serious as if it was a champions league game. I like the attitude from the team, Arsenal need that fighting spirit and that attitude to compete with the current champions, Manchester City and the best teams in Europe. The game finished in a 5:3 victory for the gunners, next game I think is againt Sevilla which I expect to see same spirit and morale from the Gunners.

Barcelona did not put too much anergy into the game, which is why you perceive it as such. If it's the Champions League, I don't think Arsenal can beat Barcelona; it'll be difficult for them. Because that is not how they will play in the Champions League, but that is how I saw Barcelona last season. It will be difficult for them to defeat Arsenal in the Champions League if they meet in the group stage, because they played pool games in both the Champions League and the Europa League last season. I would like Xavi to do something before the new season begins next month.

I also have high expectations for Jackson next season. If we look properly the Chelsea club has lacked a proper central striker since the legendary Drogba left the bridge. The only striker that was successful since then was Costa. Since his departure too Chelsea have signed many top strikers without them delivering. So an Average striker Nickolas Jackson will actually flourish because he doesn’t comes with big expectations or huge money signing.

The other thing that has been instrumental in Jackson settling down well is the relationship he is keeping with the other players, you can see the bromance between him and Mudryk. This will actually make both players to understand each other and the chemistry will help them bring in goals too as we have seen in the preseason

Seeing his very young age, I see he can still develop in the future, there is a glimmer of new hope. If we look at Jackson's goals, that's what Chelsea needs right now, and of course buying Jackson is the right choice because he is a fierce striker in front of goal, one touch shoot. His composure in front of goal is something I appreciate in Jackson, he's like Drogba.

One of the reasons for choosing Pochetino was because of his success in polishing young talents at Spurs. We know that Todd Boehly himself is working on a long term project himself. with so much experience at Pochetino at Spurs, Chelsea are expected to surpass his success at Spurs.

Nicolas Jackson is a good player but he ain't world class. He's a player that can give you 15 goals a season and that ain't what Chelsea need leading their attack right now. Chelsea needs a player that can give them 30 goals a season in all competition. A striker that can be classified as the top 5 best strikers in the league. Goals is what they have always been their problem, followed by creation of chances. To mea they haven't gotten that perfect creative midfielder, so they need a perfect striker.
It's looking quite unlikely that Chelsea will get another striker so I guess they'll go into the season with Nicolas Jackson.

I still have my doubts about Chelsea. The pre season doesn't move me. It's a whole different ball game when you're playing competitive matches.

Nicolas Jackson has thus far greatly impressed me; he is a very composed player with many outstanding qualities.  No one anticipated such a performance from him when Chelsea signed him, therefore everyone was more interested in Nkunku and Mudryk's potential to stand out this season. As with every other striker brought to the team, I believe Chelsea has discovered a true gem. Perhaps that is why he is performing so well—there was no expectation on him. Although it's too soon to draw any conclusions, I think he would have a fantastic season if he keeps playing without inhibitions. I have seen a real improvement in the team, play is different from last season in just a short time and the players look hungry. With new management I have no doubt there will be improvement next season.

Yeah Arsenal's improvements so far have worked even if it's just a pre-season match especially the new players who joined this season like Kai Havertz apparently didn't take long to adapt he has scored several goals but yeah maybe because he's used to playing in the Premier League. I think Arteta should pay more attention to defense because in the last few games they have always conceded goals, we don't know if Arteta is experimenting on defense so far it is clear that there are many gaps there. The real competition is about to start so there is still time.

I also think that Arsenal will win again against Monaco even though Monaco is not too bad based on the results that have been seen through head to head. Because until now Arsenal are still much better than Monaco so that match might make it easier for Arsenal to win and I am also sure that Mikel Arteta will still be more confident in making Arsenal better next season, the mainstay strategies that will be he uses next season.

Currently, I don't think Monaco has a squad that the club can use to defeat Arsenal, so I have no doubt that Arsenal will not win against Monaco. But what I am also concerned about in pre-season matches is always lack of seriousness of teams. Arsenal may not take the game seriously the way they did against Barcelona. So let's keep in mind that anyone can win the game. We believe that Arsenal have a better squad than Monaco, but Pre-season games are always hard to predict, and this makes me remember Arsenal's draw against Nurnberg in their second friendly match. So the best thing is to not just bet on pre-season matches because someone can just be getting the predictions wrong because of lack of seriousness of teams.

The management of Pochettino has been very impressive throughout this preseason. His new signings have been playing brilliantly well and if they can replicate this when the league starts, Chelsea are going to do well in the upcoming season. Chelsea amongst other top teams in the premier League have only the premier to concentrate on unlike other teams that needs to fight for other trophies. I feel their players won’t be overused and they’ll have enough time to strategize and do well in the upcoming season. Chelsea should not be underrated under this new manager, I’m confident they’ll do well next season.

Rasmus Hojlund is still on the agenda for Manchester United. He is still their priority about a striker transfer. However there is still a problem about the agreement between two teams. Atalanta want a package of 70 million euros while Manchester United have offered a 60 million one. It feels like they can meet at 65 million finally to finish the deal.

PSG are also observing Hojlund's situation closely so Manchester United want to finish this deal as quick as possible. Actually Hojlund hasn't given us much about his performance so far. He hasn't been that much productive when it comes to the number of goals he scored. But the Red Devils must be still believing in his potential very much.
