A world class goal was used to break the deadlock on the first minute of the extra time by Bruno Fernerdez , to give Manchester United a relief in the first half. Burnley was in possession of the match but it turned out that they weren't lucky to score any goal before the end of the first half.

I just hope that Manchester United will be able to use this goal as an advantage to win Burnley, so that they can secure three points after a long time now. One the other hand Burnley might come back in the second half with a welcome back and this is will be very disastrous for Manchester United.

Burnley is an average club, dominated the first half but lack the chances of securing a goal inothe to lead in the game. Manchester United were very cautious in the first half, absorbing all the pressures and finally invading the home team territory, Bruno Fernandez scored a stunning goal. United are leading 1 nil in half-time, there's more actions to watch in the second half because Burnley would want to come back to level game, which might likely happen, Erik Ten Hag defendlines is not strong enough to hold down pressure, it would be temporary and not permanent.

Manchester United won against Burnley but I would say Manchester United's performance in this match was poor. Where Manchester United should be ahead in all aspects of this game, Burnley was ahead in all aspects. We used to consider Manchester United as one of the best teams in the English Premier League but if they perform like this against a team at the bottom of the points table, how can Manchester United perform against the teams at the top of the points table. Maybe Manchester United need to make a big change in their team planning because the plan they are playing with is just failing them.

Manchester City continued to lead after beating Nottingham Forest 2-0 at home.We can say that City struggled a little bit against their opponent, maybe because of the fatigue of the Champions League match, but we can say that they gave their opponent too much possession.Rodri's red card was actually a factor in this.

Burnley was not to be seen as a good enough team to match up with Manchester united and this was clearly seen in the first half of the game. In the early minutes of the first half, Manchester united had full possession of the game and even had a goal which was denied them by the VAR. So Manchester wasn't at all that bad in this game except for them not scoring enough goals but had what looked like a narrow escape win.

The attacking force and strikers at Burnley yesterday didn't do enough to be able to get goals.it was obvious their strikers where not that good as the had opportunities with Manchester united defense which was somehow fault at some point but Burnley strikers couldn't convert these chances into a goal at any point and that's reason for some of their bad play. Poor convertions.

I wouldn't say Manchester was at their best either as they did lost full control of the game at later part of the first half and the second half they weren't looking dominant enough as expected,we taught of Manchester united defeating Burnley to some good number of goal margin so I wouldn't say this was a very good performance for Manchester united although they got all the points but we expected much more better from them than they did.

This season is quite something. I feel sorry for Manchester United fans and Chelsea supporters, this two rival clubs have been at loggerheads for decades but this season their fans are unusually quiet and have lost their bragging rights because both clubs are performing poorly. Neither side is doing better than the other.

Chelsea and manchester united played like relegated team but we can't deny the fact that if manchester united is a bit better as it was still able stealing full points even with horrific squad. Pochettino's squad always seemed to be falling behind in points, even though they had an easier season run compared to another team in the EPL and it's really in contrast to the how bad chelsea's performance. Chelsea may be the only team to battle on the relegation zone soon if pochettino's squadi will still perform like shit.

I will blame the problems of Manchester United on Erik Ten Hag, he’s a terrible manager IMO, he lacks people skills. As we can now see his problems with United players doesn’t end with Ronaldo. He doesn’t have a strong relationship with the players and I think he wants to bring his former players from Ajax to the team and overhaul the squad he met at the club. Chelsea is a different case, there will need two seasons before they can get their rhythm, at this rate Manchester City will have a easy league run this season.

I think that if ten has is not a parthy that can be fully blamed by the fans or anyone. People might not forget that if the players will be also determining the result from the game. Remember that if the players are not always going throug ten hag's plan.
It makes me feel curious why people are not blaming the players especially the defenders? They keep playing poorly right now. Manchester united can't be out from top 10 this season unlike chelsea which is likely to stay above top 10.

This means that Rodri will be absent from defending Manchester City in the next two important EPL matches against Newcastle and especially against Arsenal. Rodri's role is really needed and it seems that Manchester City will have difficulty in the next match because indirectly the result against Arsenal will determine this season's title competition.

@Litzki1990 Manchester United have 12+ player’s out injured and this has effected their rhythm because Ten Hag has yet not been able to chose all his key players constantly. Furthermore for me they had to win those 3 points last night and even if they didn’t win it in style it’s yet a win and hopefully this victory can boost their confidence and can act as an catalyst that they need to rise once again in the premier league standings.
