I think the main factor in Manchester United's difficulty in being in the top 3 of the standings is a coach who does not implement a consistent strategy.

I cannot actually say that any coach was a total failure or incompetent to handle Manchester United. But I can say that every coach that handled Manchester United since after Fagie left has their own problems.
Moyes wasn't a bad coach, in as much as many people will say that Manchester United was bigger than him as of then, what I discovered that was the problem is the EXPECTATIONS .
Sir Faguson set a very high standard and every Manchester United fan and including the management wanted every coach that will succeed sir to continue building on the existing standard. I agree that Chelsea performance looks better in the last 2 matches. Chelsea defeated Tottenham with 4 goals and they could get a draw against Man City. Chelsea showed to us that they are not a weak team anymore, they can challenge the favorite teams in EPL. If they can beat Newcastle in the upcoming match, they must be getting more confident. Yes, it's true what you said. At least, in the last two matches, Chelsea has been quite productive and also performed impressively. especially the big win against Tottenham, this was a trigger for high motivation for them. We also underestimated Chelsea at that time, but fortunately there were several Tottenham players who received red cards. And Chelsea really took advantage of this opportunity so they got a very optimal victory.
