The season may look to have more to offer but right now we almost done with the first half of the season and any team at a top position and still but in as much effort in the next half of the season can have a very good turn out at the end of the season.
Well if I were to say who would be in the top six position at the end of the season I would say Arsenal at the first position just because I think they are solid and deserve it and then Manchester city, Liverpool and Aston villa then in six and fifth would be Newcastle and Tottenham.

Learn from the past and in the end Arsenal also fell from the top of the standings and Manchester City won the EPL title last season, don't be too fanatical about a club and feel confident that Arsenal will be at the top of the standings until the end of the season, it's not that easy of course there will be difficulties at the end of the season they have to face can't say but it is clear that it will definitely happen where the club will look inconsistent at the end of the season.

I also think the 6 teams you mentioned will be in the top 6 of this year's table. It  is certain that Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City will be in the top four of the  points table. These three groups are very strong. On the other hand, Aston Villa team is in great form. This team is  now at the third place  in the points table. If  this performance continues, Aston Villa are likely to qualify for the Champions  League. Manchester United are now sixth in the points table. However, the performance of this team is very erratic. So Newcastle have a good chance  of finishing sixth or fifth in the table.

Tottenham will definitely try to win this one for sure, they were once the top team in the league and right now when you look at them it looks like they are fifth and they won just one game out of last five, that should tell you who they have been doing recently. It's very hard to guess which teams that will be on the top six position but i would not count europa league and conference league spot. Im only counting on the top 4. It is remarkable how much we have learned since the early season, and it is important to note that the standing can change dramatically in a short period of time. I agree with you that Arsenal are more solid than Manchester city and Liverpool currently. I just don't want to totally discredit their credentials as per having won the league recently. A wounded or ill equipped champion is still a champion. Somehow I think Liverpool are more of a serious contender than Manchester city. Liverpool are going about their business slowly and silently. For me they are the bigger threat. They have the technical know how to go the entire season and continue putting together points.

The thing is that, Arsenal are controlling much part of their games this season and I'm banking on their ability to control games to put put them ahead of any team.  I think if Liverpool go long into the Europa league and continue all their running, it might affect their title run. Also a lot of things can still go wrong for Arsenal and other top 4 teams but I think on the balance of play this Arsenal squad is more solid than both Manchester city Liverpool. If it comes down to Liverpool doing the chasing I think Arsenal will edge.

Not really sure about Arsenal, because they fail too often at the last moment. I have a little doubt about Arsenal's ability to end the season in the top rankings, the English league is not about whether they deserve it or not but rather how consistently they stay in the competition. Arsenal should not be underestimated even though their performance have dropped a bit. Aston villa is strong enough to challenge any team in the league right now seeing how they defeated Manchester city should send a message to everyone not to underrate them. Liverpool have sits on the first spot and we know how difficult it will be for these clubs to step down from this important positions. Arsenal has potentials of winning the EPL league this season but they're not consistent in performance, winning today and losing tomorrow is definitely not defines a true champions. Mikel Arteta will strive for more promising opportunities in mid-season, there's still hope for them and now is definitely not the time to start underperforming, rather its their time to outshine oppositions and ensure to grab golden opportunities in winning matches.

I think Liverpool actually will win league, Arsenal and Man city will strive for second place. my reason for this is because Liverpool as been the most consistent this season in epl while Man city should be feared since it will be new year next month and we know how excellent they play every new year especially last year and won the league beating Arsenal who was topping the league for weeks.
