The EPL is always a surprising competition because matches that could have been won ended in a draw. Here, Liverpool is clearly the favorite to win against Manchester United, but it seems that even against their rivals, Manchester United doesn't want to be careless and also pay attention to their back line so they don't concede easily. Even though in the end both teams did not score a single goal in this match, they both played very well. Maybe initially everyone thought that Manchester United would lose badly to Liverpool, but Andre Onana's performance in this match was silenced because he was seen repeatedly making saves when Liverpool had a chance to score.

A good achievement for Manchester United for not losing against Liverpool with defensive statistics maintained throughout the match.
Of course it is not appropriate to consider a draw as a success if the playing pattern is like that, friend.
We are targeting a win and Manchester United is targeting a draw. It really doesn't make sense for a team as big as Manchester United to set that target if they consider themselves a top team.
Even though we can only share points at Anfield, we are satisfied with Liverpool's performance.

Quite disappointed with this result because Liverpool has a big chance to maintain its position at the top of the standings and with the next match which is no less tough it will be very difficult for Liverpool, but Liverpool will try to maintain their unbeaten stats at Anfield this season but not with a draw against Arsenal may therefore allow Aston Villa to take over first place in the standings.
If Liverpool can handle Arsenal well and get the three points then they will take the top spot again and the last game this year against Burnley shouldn't be a difficult game to overcome.

TBH, Liverpool is not the Liverpool of last season so it's not something that should be surprising about their performance yesterday. You can imagine a club which had less of their good players in action could still hold Jurgen Klopp's men to a goalless draw can tell one a lot. Man UTD are the only club who haven't lost at the Anfield this season and while yesterday was a day to change the record, Liverpool went ahead to flop it.
 I also must commend Erik's tactic in the game yesterday as they defended more than they attacked. Infact the best way to describe their pattern was like that of a weak team which when overlooked can turn things around on the head and punish you for it as Liverpool were almost punished for their overconfidence.
This draw means they aren't at the first spot and for me I feel that was what Man UTD was hoping to achieve.

Actually Liverpool were much worse than this in the first half of the previous season. If you remember they started to perform much better in the second half of that season but even that wasn't enough for them to finish the league in top 4. Right now their first half performance in the season is much better. At least the number of points they have collected and their position are.

What? liverpool was able destroying manchester united with seven goals. It's unlike the performance of liverpool this time. There are many things that are not going so well. It likes when liverpool was trying so hard to score against manchester united it was failed.
Liverool has been wasting so many golden chances. I would not be surprised that if liverpool will be trying even better in upcoming match. Varane has been showing his true performance, which is amazing.
That's very sad to see that liverpool was missing opportunity to get three points from manchester united and this is a win for ten hag coz he was able stealing point from anfield.

But it is true that their performance at finishing their goal opportunities was really poor against Manchester United as I also said in my previous post. They are still unbeaten for many weeks though but they had better improve their scoring performance again.

I don't know what's wrong with liverpool during the game but the attacking lines seems being so wasteful with any opportunities that came to the club. Even salah was unable help liverpool to score the game against manchester united.

Jurgen Klopp was shocked to see the heavy defendlines from Manchester United. I blame Liverpool for drawing points with Manchester United, the Reds got solid spot to win but couldn't convert their chances to goals. Mere watching Luis Diaz overrated performance and couldn't net a goal, instead he was dribbling and failed to pass the ball to his teammates. A goal-less draw we watched. Manchester United was probably not able to withstand the pressure from Liverpool at Anfield. They just got lucky, and this might not happen next time.

You can say the results was unfair  because Liverpool literally didn't score any goal and it was denied them neither was there anytime a foul or penalty was denied them and moreover they were playing from their home so definitely everything was literally fair they only failed to score and win the game even at their home Manchester was just better yesterday.

The defense line of Manchester united yesterday was really different and didn't at any point gave Liverpool a chance to be able to penetrate their defense line and get a goal, personally I was impressed by the performance Manchester united did performed yesterday but then I'm not convinced yet until they will be able to add consistency to it then I could be sure they can maintain such form over a long period and hope to probably make something out of the premier league this season.

The injured and missing players are making a huge huge difference, Gvardiol was a great transfer, Doku was just a future transfer and didn't really feel like he is a must get, but compared to that, Laporte who was there for a long time left, Ilkay left, Riyad wasn't playing much anyway but left, Cole Palmer left, Mendy left, De Bruyne injured, Doku now injured, they are really having trouble putting up a decent eleven on the field and that's making them lose way too many points where they shouldn't against teams they were expected to win.

It is not a failure for Liverpool because Manchester united have increased their focus on improving their performance in the Premier League. After being eliminated from the Champions League, Erik ten hag was of course under a lot of pressure to improve Manchester united so they could get points in the matches they played. Unfortunately for Liverpool because last week they were able to lead the standing but they were not strong enough to maintain it. After watching the matches this week, I saw that many teams had swapped places with each other on the standing. Even in the lower teams, Everton is increasingly confident by winning consecutive match in the last 4 match which has kept them away from the relegation zone.

If not for the deducted points from Everton, I think with their current place in the table the substituted points, and this should place them behind West Ham nevertheless, they haven't given up because they are better than being lonely in the relegation zone but they should have done better in the match of the past week, they allowed cheap Burnley to beat them after flogging Chelsea in the earlier week. It is better for them to be at least not less than 15 place on the table.

Liverpool defeated Man United with convincing performance. Liverpool had a clear advantage in the match that I watched. You know, though, dominance isn't necessarily the focus of football. It's also about taking chances, and despite Onana's outstanding performance, Liverpool was unable to make an impact. In one match, he resembled a wall! Furthermore, United was obviously on the defensive when it came to their tactics. Although this type of play isn't the most thrilling, it seemed to work for them. 1. The match was unfair to Liverpool as they were the better team out of the two and dominated most proceedings. Meanwhile the truth remains that it was a poor performance from the Liverpool side; who could not defeat a Manchester United side that played nothing in the entire 90 minutes.

2. Also, Liverpool did not create notable chances to win the tie; the poor Manchester united side had the best chances to seal the game and steal the points; this is not a league winner performance from liverpool

Man City opportunity to defend the title this season is still quite open, because we know the difference in the standings is only 5 points behind Arsenal. Regarding the situation faced by Pep Guardiola squad, I think City will recover quickly.

It cannot be denied that the absence of mainstay players in the main squad makes it difficult for Pep to carry out his strategy, some of the back up players are not yet capable enough to fill the positions left temporarily. And literally within a round, the position of the teams became the way the bookmakers see it. Previously, I actually had another assumption, in the previous post I said that this match would be tough. and it was proven, both teams were unable to score goals. we are well aware that Liverpool is superior, especially referring to the odds that the bookie gives United at @10.00. that's why, I took the risk to bet on United. I'm not just interested in the odds available, but these two teams have quite a long history. this match also involves the prestige of both parties. unfortunately, Rasmus Hojlund was unable to take advantage of the momentum when facing the Liverpool goalkeeper. In the end, Alisson was able to secure the ball easily. It should have been an important moment for Hojlund and also his first goal.

Talking about the course of this match, Liverpool should be able to beat Man United with the many opportunities they have. It seems bookies will be doing revision on the city's odds once it will be facing another bad result in upcoming match. Manchester city is not having big gap to the arsenal and liverpool. I remember that this situation was also happening last season but city has managed to make its comeback.

KDB and Ilkay were very important players for Manchester City. They are looking for them a lot this season. But I think Manchester City also have very important problems in defense this season. Crystal Palace attacked very little in the match. But they managed to score 2 goals against Manchester City. I think we should open a parenthesis for Manchester City's defense. They are not as good as last year for sure. Ake and Dias are not good enough for Manchester City. Pep should install Gvardiol in the defense and sign another good stopper alongside him.

A neutral observer would say Liverpool won this match. They controlled the game and played well enough to win. Football isnt always easy, right? Onana's Man United performance was outstanding. Last season, there was a time Arsenal had a better point difference than they currently have against Manchester City in the English Premier League title but Manchester City somehow still ended up winning the English Premier League at the end of last season. Recently, their star striker Erling Haaland picked up an injury that's kept him out for the past two weeks while their midfield maestro Kelvin De Bruyne has been out since the start of the season but I believe if the two players comes back to full fitness, the club is gonna improve significantly in their performance.

With Chelsea's current performance, they can’t end the season in the top 5. If Pochettino will still be in Chelsea till next season, maybe we will expect a better performance from him, and maybe he will be able to end the season in a better position, but Chelsea have been inconsistent this season, which really affected them. Sometimes you will think Chelsea are in form, and they will be winning any club that comes their way, but they will perform poorly in some matches, nothing special will be coming out of Chelsea this season.
