Next season If he's been given the chance to still manage the team, I feel that he might get sacked half way if he's unable to show some kind of improvement midway the season because if he's not showing any improvement for the probation which he may be granted then leting him go would be their next option. Personally I don't see any great future with him at Manchester united especially if he's still going to have exact same players to work with in the new season.

Mauricio Pochentino took over a Chelsea side that was below average and started to rebuild the team from scratch with his tactical experiences. I'm surprised that the club management decided to sack Pochentino even when it looked like he was going to win numerous trophies with the team in few seasons from now. You make a lot of sense and I completely agree with what you said, such things are normal with life itself, where of you are do well, people like you and praise you, but the moment you start failing, everyone hates you like you are the worst human being on earth, forgetting that life itself is a Rollercoaster, there is never any stability, most especially in activities like games..

You have comfortably highlighted one of the problems of so many football clubs. When a particular club has more number of old players than young players, you know that there is a looming problem. You should look at Real Madrid very well, when their player started aging, they did not outrightly sell them. The had to keep the old players and buy young ones, this made it possible for the old players to groom and nurture the young players to being world class footballers. I just see same thing repeating itself next season in Manchester united performance. Manchester united is bigger than winning only FA Cup and the fans are happy. It means that the club greatness is no longer there, and this is why the club is keeping Ten Hag and praising him that he has done well.

When will Manchester win EPL trophy again, I don't see that confidence and quality in Eric Hag because he does not know when to make right decisions to turn things around for the players when the club is facing pressure.
