Their many clubs are doing better than Chelsea even though the season just got started, but we have seen some clubs performing very well, which will make it difficult for Chelsea to end the season in the top 4 as you said. Furthermore, all their problems will not get fixed within a season. Their new coach needs at least 2 seasons to make things right for Chelsea if they give them enough time. Chelsea are good at changing managers after he failed to give them the result they want. Enzo is a good manager, and if they give him enough time, he will fix Chelsea problems and their performance will be good again.

Later tonight in the English Premier League, newly promoted side Leicester City will host Tottenham Hotspur in their first league game of the season and I've been curious to know what most of us thinks about this game. For me, I think the away team is more likely to get a better result but that I don't think will come easily considering the fact that the game will be played at King Power stadium. What's your take on the game? Do you think the home team will win or the visiting team will get the better of them?

Leicester city played out a draw with Tottenham in that game. It might look like a good result for them considering the fact that it’s their first game of the season and it’s was against a big side. Amongst the three promoted teams, they were the only one to get at least a point.

They don’t look like a decent side to me. Tottenham on the other hand are not a serious team. They should have won that game but they were very poor to settle for a draw.

Leicester City were good in the championship. They played some good football last season.
But their performance at home against Tottenham was not impressive. It’s a shame what they became. They struggle to string passes together, they kick it long to Vardy hoping he'd utilise his speed against Tottenham Center backs, just like they did 7-8yrs ago.

Imagine having a Center back pairing of Vestergaard and Faes with Ndidi protecting them. They don't look good at all.
Honestly I was not expecting Leicester to get something from this game. They were very dusty.

Chelsea players are lacking experience and this have become one of the major concerns for the club. They have to build connections if they’re keen on hitting the top spot. Enzo Maresca will work effortlessly to put things in place, we know the arranging formats of the club. Signing Victor Osimhen would be amazing thing for the frontline but they have to adapt to the current pattern of the new boss, who’s yet to accumulate three points this season.

It is not really cool looking down at a team from the first instance or there first outing in the league. The loss may be a stepping stone to more success for them. Chelsea have a pretty good squad and that is a reason why they should not be look down on even when that’s not enough to qualify them to be league contenders or will finish in the top four of the table. The new coach has a lot to work to do because a good squad without a good coach to manage them will be worth nothing in the end and can lose everything they want to fight for for that season.

It takes at least 4-5 days of matches to see a trend, in the first few days even the last ranked teams from last year can be first: this is absolutely normal.
I always find the start of the season of the various championships exciting, it's all a buzz. Then during the year I always go to focus on what interests me.

4th sounds far too ambitious. I am not speaking as a Chelsea fan here as they should of course hope that the club that is spending the most of all Premier League teams should also aim as high as possible, but the reality is just different as you could see the last few years. Last season they saved it somehow as they won several games in a row when the season was about to finish, but when you take the home game against Manchester City as an example, I think that is where there biggest problem will be once again. If they want to compete for the top four, it's mandatory to at least win some of the games against the top competitors and I don't believe that will happen.

Chances against Liverpool and Manchester City and Arsenal aren't particularly great and then there is quite a long list of teams that I think are more or less equal to Chelsea, so no guaranteed points there either. Manchester United, Newcastle, Tottenham, maybe Aston Villa, even Brighton could beat Chelsea at least once.

The game against the Wolverhampton Wanderers is a first key game. You could say that the game against Manchester City was already key, but that might go too far here. But if they don't win against Wolverhampton Wanderers, the whole motivation for the season will drop like a rock.

Chelsea has an amazing squad that will be able to showcase something good this season because their squad is ready to use more talent in others; they see them self-performing more than what they performed last season. All they will need from the management is patience and support that will take them to the level they will like to be. Top 4 is very high for them, especially if this season there will be the same fight for the first place as last season, where 3 teams were on the line. They lost the first match, but it was against the reigning champions, besides they lost by a small margin, and the statistics of the game was quite good. I expect them to finish either 5th or 6th if they continue to perform well and not like they did a few seasons ago

After the Manchester City game, Enzo Maresca made a comment that he wants Raheem Sterling in his team and just yesterday he has changed his tune and is now telling us that Sterling is not his type of player.

According to reports, Sterling has been stripped of his jersey and is banned from training with the first team. I am not a Chelsea fan but even I know it is utter disrespect the way Raheem Sterling is being treated at Chelsea. This is not how to treat a player you have fallen out of love with. The club should sell Sterling now before the transfer window closes instead of this humiliation.

The only thing I find disrespectful is the stripping off a senior players like Raheem Sterling of his jersey number when he's still registered as a player of the club and that I think shouldn't even happen in the first place but apart from that, I don't see anything wrong in any other Chelsea manager Enzo Maresca said about ths England international. Every manager have the kind of players that suits their style of football but from the look of things, Enzo Maresca doesn't find Sterling worthy enough to play in his team so the player should leave instead of staying back where he's not accepted.

It is within the rights of the manager to decide which player fits into his playing style. However what should not be condoned is the humiliation Raheem Sterling is being subjected to in the club right now. In football, there should be respect and I think the problem is beyond the point of being a good match for the new manager. I think it is very difficult to see from your perception of the amazing squad in the Chelsea team because the team didn't sign a very good player rather they signed so many average players, yes there is a possibility of the players performing better this season thn last season but they need to start very early because they can not wake up when the league is over since they already started losing games and dropping points in the league. The performance of Chelsea will see them finish either in the top4 or below top4 but they need to get the good performance going if they want to end in a good position next season.

Chelsea started this season with a bad start because they lost their first match. There are indeed changes made by management in the transfer market, but they must be ready for what they have done, namely improving themselves to perform better and seek victory. Today Chelsea managed to win in the match against Servette in the European Conference League play off round. I think this victory will lift their spirits for the next match in the Premier League where they will face Wolves.

Indeed, from a coach's point of view, of course management must be able to give time because the coach will not be able to immediately give them a title if their game is still not good. All we need to have with Chelsea players is patience and support because losing a home game against Manchester City still doesn’t mean that they will not do anything tangible because since the last season we all know that Manchester City are not mates with Chelsea in performance, and their meeting for the first time will make Chelsea understand their strategies in the game so that they will not have to lose again. Manchester City again for the second time because failure is part of success, so let's have that hope on Chelsea and see what they can do this season. Because I can still see potential in those average players that Chelsea already have this season.

Man City's case is different, in all department they're all covered and if injury or fatigue happens to come in as an obstacle they have a better replacement and if a player isn't present the other players are ready to cover and make it look like the team is fine, like the case of Rodri when he wasn't on the pitch against Chelsea, the Citizens played and make sure his position is fully cover but bring it to the Gunners team they can't replicate what City did on Sunday, so they're not close.

Because Pep knows that even though there are reserve players, they will not choose randomly so that when the core players cannot play and are replaced with reserves they are not too worried because in terms of quality they are quite the same.
Currently, if you look at the depth of the squad in all EPL clubs, Manchester City is the most solid club where their core players and reserve players look equal in terms of quality.

This is a smart way that Pep does so that they do not experience big problems even though it cannot be denied that they also sacrifice a lot in terms of finance but it pays off with the consistency that makes their club owners do not consider it a problem because indeed they have until now become one of the best clubs in the EPL even maybe in almost all major competitions in Europe Manchester City is still one of the best and leading clubs to date.

I don't know why Enzo is displaying such level of an unseeming confusion because ordinarily has supposed to know what will fit in their plan, this has always been a player who has done much already for the team even much before now and definitely deserves some kind of respect that is due him and not the kind of treatment he's getting especially from the current management. All the time he had played previous seasons, he's been of a brilliant and productive performance, that should at least be a good basis for consideration for him.

I also have actually thought about how they treated him and why all of a sudden but I have read reports that Todd Bohely has adopted the strategy of not paying players higher wages and that’s probably why Sterling is a target at the club, he is currently sitting on a 350k wage and that might be too much for Todd and this decision definitely looks like it was his decision. The same thing is happening to Chalobah to at the club, it is ok to set out players that aren’t on your plans but stripping them of jersey numbers right before they leave is disrespect

Both learned under same manager which is Pep and been the championship winners is the only thing they have currently but Kompany has actually done it in the Turkish league before the English league and he is edges Enzo I terms of top flight league experience. Also the situation at both clubs are different, Chelsea isn’t stable with the way the board are handling its affairs although Bayern Munich also has its own management problem but they seems to be more stable than the Londoners

Not having patience with coaches is one of the reason why Chelsea keeps going back and forth in their performance. This season they’ll improve, hoping to continue on that trend the following season but they’ll end up sacking their coach and the new coach will have to start all over from scratch, this has affected them so much and I feel they should try and be patient with their coach at least, when he’s even able to improve the performance of the team compared to what they played in the previous season. Chelsea has a lot of work to do, I hope they end the season on an improved level this time around.

I didn’t know there was a saga between Raheem Sterling and Chelsea’s management, this could have arise from his link to Aston Villa after the coach wanted and show interest in him. There behaviors towards him was not fair because the player hasn’t even made any statement to want to join the team. He deserves more respect than how he’s treated as a their player. Now that the coach has no interest in him, they should just let it slide and bring him back to train and play with the first team players.

For some season now Chelsea have been having challenge with their performance which they always end the season with poor results.  This season I don't expect Chelsea to end the season in top four, what I just want from Chelsea is good transformation, atleast occupying the 5th or 6th position won't be bad if eventually Chelsea is able to achieve it because all what Chelsea have gone through I don't it will be over night for them to be among top teams in performance in this season. I feel Chelsea's coach can make good difference this season because I see him as a capable coach that will be able to revive the team this season.

Judging from the first appearance against Ipswich, it seems that Liverpool performed the same as when Klopp was still there. However, Ipswich is only a weak team that was promoted this season, so we cannot say that Arne Slot has made a quick change. In the next match we can see how Liverpool actual performance is when playing against an equal team when playing against Man United. But before playing against Man United, Liverpool must play against Brentford without a doubt Liverpool will still win. However, if when playing against Man United later Liverpool must lose, we can say that there is no change in Liverpool performance.
