The 3 newly promoted teams are having a tough time in the English Premier League as Leicester City are the only promoted team which had gained a single point via a draw against Tottenham. On the other hand, Southampton does have a men advantage against Newcastle United in their opening match but eventually they still lost that match without scoring any goal. I think the offense of Southampton are not that strong and Brentford should be able to claim an easy victory against Southampton.

Well it's actually true that Southampton were a total disappointment against Newcastle united because the red card that the Newcastle united team had in the game came quite early and at then, everyone thought that it's a golden opportunity for Southampton to utilize and get the job done, but they disappoint everyone by not being able to get the winning even with a man advantage as early as in the first half, and to be frank, if they don't improve immensely, they will definitely return to the championship in no distance time.

Then as for their game against Brentford, well football can be very much unpredictable, because we all expect Brentford to win this upcoming contest, due to the fact that they are in a more better form and they have more quality in their ranks than Southampton, but their might be a surprise if their is any room for complacency from this Brentford side, so in my own perspective, the game is very much open for any of them to carry the day.

 Meanwhile, Manchester United are lucky because they are playing at home, they will get full support from the fans, Liverpool must remain vigilant when visiting Old Trafford even though they are favored to win the match.

I agree with you. I also favor Liverpool to win the match. Even with a new coach, I see Liverpool can still play like in the Klopp era. They are very solid and are one of the title contenders. After winning their first match, they lost surprisingly to Brighton. I think the match will be a draw. This shows that Manchester United still have problems in their defense. The best result that can be obtained in this match is a draw. However, I think the Liverpool squad will be motivated to get a win because they have won two matches and have not conceded a goal.

This is the same case and maybe here Leicester is still more reliable than Southampton. I think there will be a time when Southampton can get a positive result and it seems like we won't be able to see it in the near future. Adjustments must be made in the right way and here Southampton will continue to learn it.

The defeat against Newcastle was not surprising but if Southampton could hold a draw then it could be a good result rather than a defeat. Well, we have to move on and talk about Southampton's next opponent, Brentford, I think Southampton could get their first point even if they try to draw and at least it won't be a 3x consecutive defeat at the start of the season.

Manchester City in recent seasons have dominated the Premier League and no one even doubts they will be back in title contenders this season, compared to Manchester City in fact many other teams in the Premier League have improved their squad by bringing in many new players but still Manchester City is still a strong candidate to end the season as the defending champions this seasons, Manchester City have only brought in two new players this season but they are still better than the Chelsea team who have even brought in 12 new players because the mentality and consistency possessed by Manchester City is much better, in the last two seasons Arsenal is the main competitor of Manchester City and they are still not strong enough to prevent Manchester City from winning the Premier League.

Previously Manchester City were quite balanced in the English league and the Champions League, for this season the Champions League looks like it will be difficult for them but even so we can't be too quick to get Manchester City out of the Champions League favorites this season.

As for me, I wouldn’t say that Manchester City did not have the best season last season, but I would rather say there is improvement in Premier League competition. Last season, some of these average teams really improved, and that is the reason why Manchester City was not able to beat them easily like in previous seasons. So Manchester City really performed well last season despite Arsenal. I believe even this season that is what will happen, so it's not that Manchester City did not have the best season last season, and that is why Arsenal got the opportunity to perform at that level. Even two seasons ago, Arsenal’s performance was similar.Looking at Arsenal’s performances, it is really clear that Arsenal is the main competitor in the Premier League currently. They have the squad, and we are observing improvements from them.

I don’t know why Manchester City is a lot of people’s pick to win this season’s championship. But I think Arsenal’s time to win the league title is due. They have been closer in the last two seasons. Everything points to them right now as the favorite to win.

I think they are now at a stage where if they don't win the league this season it is entirely their(Arteta) fault (loss of form, lack of X factor etc), not that they are not capable of winning the league with this squad.

Last season showed that the league was theirs if they wanted it. Apart from Haaland, I don't see where Manchester City blows them out of the water in terms of quality.
Sure, I know they’re levels above Arsenal right now but it’s not by big margins anymore. They will line up vs Manchester City now and it’s anybody’s game, I don’t think they aren’t inferior to them anymore.

They have the best shot this season. I expect a great season from them. Pep doesn’t really have the motivation to win again.

While some teams in the Premier League like Arsenal and Liverpool tried to get improve by hiring more players and they spent too much money and Manchester United was not losing these days, so they hired Manuel Ugarte the player of PSG.
They made Manuel Ugarte accept to join this team and play for them a few weeks ago but Manuel Ugarte was under contract with PSG and PSG didn't agree to let him leave and finally Macnshter United could hire Manuel Ugarte for 50 million euros.

This is the best signing for the Manchester United team this season, since they are signing players this season signing Manuel Ugarte is the best signing for them, but signing the player doesn't mean that Manchester United will start winning all their games, Manchester united is not the team we all know before the team has changed to Erik ten Hag team, the coach is just doing like he is the owner of the team by signing any player he likes and still he won't use a good player's to start a game, to be honest, I prefer Erik ten Hag to be sack from the team because I don't see any quality of a good coach from him.

I started complaining about Erik ten Hag about the kind of players he used to start games since last season and he keeps doing that and that is why they always lose to even a small team, Manchester united games against Brighton show that they need to send the coach away and if they are sending him away they should send some player's that he signs and they are not serious, a player like Onana needs to leave Manchester United, he is not goalkeeper, he is a goal conceded goalkeeper.

I'm not doubting the fact that Manchester United is a big club that posseses some of the most talented players in the English Premier League but considering the tactical approach the club's manager have been using since the start of the season, I don't think they'll be getting anything from that game unless the club's manager devices a better tactics and use it when the two top English clubs meet at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Liverpool New manager Arne Slot seems to have a better understanding of his players and the tactics that helps bring out the best from them unlike his Manchester United counterpart Erik ten Hag who's still struggling with results this season and that I think will play a huge role in deciding who wins the game between the two sides.

Manchester city has showed some new strategies that is making people to believe that they are going to maintain a good position in this season, because they where able to defeated their opponent to achieved  three points in their first match which the confidence for them to win today match is very clear. As long their manager and their players are still in the team, it will give them the opportunity to challenges those teams that gave them though time last season, because their manager still released more impact to his players which his players will definitely going to display what will   make them to create more fear in the mind of many teams. I don't have full assurance that Manchester city will win the champion league title, because Real Midred and other teams are more focus on that champion league title than other titles, but for premier league title, Manchester city will still going to win the title again.

This season we will see if Mikel Arteta can make Arsenal stable and consistent until the end so they can compete in the title race with Manchester City, for now we can't see how their overall performance is because they have just started the season, but if it gets to the middle we will definitely be able to see how strong they are and their points difference so we can see the performance of Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola this season. At the end of last season I thought that this season Arsenal would be the champions of the Premier League and stop Manchester City's dominance. But after I saw Manchester City's performance at the start of this season, I think Manchester City will remain the favorites to win the title this season. Moreover, Ilkay Gundogan has now also returned to this team. What makes this team will not be short of attacking midfielders this season. And the former Manchester City captain will clearly add to the strength of the Manchester City squad to become even stronger. And maybe Manchester City will try to win the UCL title again this season.  Because even then Manchester City managed to win the UCL title for the first time when Gundogan was captain of this team.

Accurate, from my view with both team’s performance Haaland is not a threat honestly speaking, even if haalnad is one of the best players including few players Arsenal can always handle haaland that’s why it’s so difficult predicting Manchester city and Arsenal match each time they play. For Arsenal winning the title last season was a big deal despite their excellent performance but, I’m not expecting that this season I’m looking for a positive result although Arsenal first match look easy competing with wolves likewise Manchester city they had every chance winning both teams besides the season is so fresh so I don’t care about the margin at the moment let’s watch out  their next move.

I think Arteta deserves to be retained because he is the only one who is able to bring Arsenal to this point, even though this season he failed again in my opinion it was a ridiculous decision for management to fire him because he is the only coach who has brought Arsenal to become a competitor in the EPL for the past two seasons, surely Arsenal management understands the process experienced by Arteta and Arsenal to become a solid team because the process takes quite a long time and is not as easy as turning over your hand, let luck answer all of that regarding the championship title that has not been obtained until now.

Everybody jubilating for Chelsea, but how consistent can they go? Good job today in between. But how many goals can Noni Madueke contribute? Or will he fold after his first hat trick for the club. Todd Boehly must be happy but we will see how well his defense can cope. Attackers seems to be nuclear weapons.

We should not underestimate Arne Slot's ability to maintain this level throughout the season. I don't think Slot will have any problem maintaining Klopp's level in the Premier League, the players have already adapted to the team and the league, so I am confident in their performances this season. However, I think Slot will have a problem competing in the Champions League because he lacks experience in such competitions, and they will play against clubs from different leagues, even last season, Slot's club previous club was eliminated in the group stage, so I believe Liverpool will face difficult challenges in the Champions League.

I don't know why some people here are not happy seeing Chelsea fans smiling. Reading lots of posts here justifies how eager people are to see their downfall. Madueke scored against wolves and not a newly promoted club but you're calling wolves a weak team? Wolves that has been maintaining their top flight campaign in Premier league for several seasons is now being considered a weak team because they played against Chelsea. I know they have been struggling too since last season but they're a solid mid table team with strengths and are very competitive in the league. Chelsea overpowered them with a thunderstorm scoreline but it doesn't make them a weak team.

Man City looks like it will still be the club with the most potential to win the title again this season. Seeing them play has really proven that they are on a different level from other teams. Arsenal and Liverpool might indeed compete closely with them. And Arsenal should be the strongest to compete with Man City. But now Liverpool also looks just as strong. I didn't expect that Arne Slot could immediately put this team in good form at the start of the season. It seems he already knows how to continue the strategy used by Klopp. So Liverpool remains stable even though they have a new coach. Brighton entered the competition at the start of this season. But I'm not sure they will continue to be consistent with results like now.

Manchester City standings pattern is slightly different from last season where Manchester City usually does not rush to be at the top, on the contrary we know that Arsenal at the beginning of last season was the most aggressive in leading the top, now it is the opposite and Arsenal is a little careful by not releasing all their strength at the beginning. Although not a special benchmark, I personally still see the competition between Manchester City, Arsenal, and even Liverpool will be more exciting after undergoing the league in the middle of the season.

Yes, it can be said that these three teams performed less than satisfactory in the two matches they played each. Only Leicester City managed to get 1 point, the rest of these two clubs, namely Ipswich Town and Southampton, suffered defeats. There are still many things that need to be fixed to be better in the next match. seeing this is still the second week in the premier league there is still time to fix it all, I hope there is a surprise that they will give this season in the third week they will get a fairly difficult opponent, Leicester will meet Aston Villa at home, Leicester can win but if you see their opponent is Aston Villa I am more inclined to a draw. on the other hand Ipswich will host Fulham, we know in the second week they beat Leicester 2-1, I think a narrow victory will be obtained by Fulham, and as you said about Southampton it is clear that Brentford is favored and can achieve maximum results at home.
but what I want to see these three teams can surprise the EPL this season, and I look forward to that

And at the beginning of this season Arsenal have also been able to win two matches for a good start to the season so there is no special reason for the management to fire Arteta, unless this season Arsenal really gets bad under Arteta's guidance.
