And as far as I can tell nobody is complaining about stolen Mintpal UNO?? Two of us complained, but it was a smaller % of hodlings, and there is still the delusion we might still get it back.

Nice feedback! I'd have bet that the average age here is higher.
Highway 61 is Dylan, isn't it?
Yes. I am 54 but have packed a superxtramega lot of adventures in.
LOL. Sometimes I feel like a horse that's been rode hard and put up wet.

Even though i certainly remember a time where there were epic fights over using the house phone. Holy My Favorite Pony! For ~30 yrs I've completely forgotten about my sister on that damned phone, and I never complained, even though she would bitterly complain if I made any noise at all! G.I.Joe - come save me! I can't figure out my Rubiks Cube conundrum! (Never actually had a G.I.Joe, but I know the Rubiks hack!) No, I most certainly will not say how old I am!

Once again we're seeing that as BTC price falls against USD, UNO rises on CoinMarketcap ranking, per it's habit of clinging to that $3/uno mark. Falling Btc is bullish for Uno as the hodlers move in to accumulate with new btc purchased with usd. I know we just got this market yesterday at Bleutrade, and it's still a ve rythin, but it's a start; at least now there's a place to play UNO/USD. My challenge in getting USD into Bleutrade. I was able to sell a bit of btc for usd yesterday, and am trying to setup the buy side of the market. Like I said, it's not deep but at least when you go there it won't be empty. I hope these markets turn out to be a lot of fun for Uno traders, and that Bleutrade turns out long term to be an excellent exchange for Uno. Do you have another favorite coin that you trade that is also listed on Bleutrade? For example, do you hodl POT? If you want to sponsor an alternative UNO/POT pairing on Bleutrade, let me know after you get things setup and I'll add your market to the OP.

They don't do verification. They hand you off to different services like Payeer to deposit USD, and I suppose those services might do KYC. I'm a noob when it comes to putting $$ into exchanges; I only ever buy bitcoin through Coinbase. Out of curiosity, I quickly tried to transfer in $100 from a credit card (7% charge) with Payeer, but it failed for some reason and I didn't try again. I'm expecting a phone call any minute now from Chase Fraud Prevention Dept.

Actually, Sirsmokes -- I get to be a tutor again for a moment -- 'compounds' are extemely common: omnibus, taxicab, pine-apple. It's just that we're doing it in new/cheeky ways. Look up 'nonce word,' 'neologise,' and 'ideolect.'
@ Price of Bitcoin on January 1, 2015: who wants to have a crack at guessing the price of Bitcoin on Jan. 1? [Lots of talented crypto geeks here. It's good to practice this stuff out loud.]

-cryptsy is for buying UNO
+All other exchanges are for selling or really you should just hodl!
I want to see cryptsy drained of UNO and kill their superwallet!
(...But I won't even go on there*: caveat emptor on the weird exchange stuff, etc.
*But I still reserve the right to hop on there for a good arb.)

Has anyone lost Uno from their Cryptsy wallet?
I know we've had it locked up for a period, but I haven't heard of anyone getting MinPal'ed over there.
PM me if you don't want to answer here.

Back in August, I had trouble getting out what I had purchased. Never lost any though. But don't keep any on there either...

Been on the chat a bit tonight on Bleutrade. It seems like fun community over there. I met people setting up markets in Uno/Html5, Uno/Cann. The interesting aspect about Bleu is the ability to configure just about any pair that you want. If you like Un and nnn coin, you just might find some takers over there to help you build a new market. Bleu doesn't lock you into only one or few pairs. There's an opportunity for us on this exchange. We'll see where it goes.
I'm super excited about Uno (yeah, right FK so what else is new). I see where we've been the last year. Crypto changes from month to month, sometimes day to day. Uno and its community is adaptable, and I think that's why one year after Blazr2 launched Uno, we're still here. We reach out and make good things happen. Sometimes we get screwed along the way, but what the hell. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. We're not in crypto because we don't like to take chances, right? There's safer investments out there, but we choose to be here. Part of what drives us is the excitement, challenge, the risk, and the opportunity to learn something new. If there's something you want to do, give it a shot. Why not, It's only money.

@ Edgar, in this sense, a beat-up would be FUD ('rallying to a cause' -- like injuring Cryptsy's reputation)
@ Benefactor: yah, gotta strike a balance between caution on Cryptsy, and long-term-drainin' the Uran wallet. Death to the Uran wallet!
@ FK: ever run long distance? (I did . . . just wasn't any good . . . ) The pack thunders across the starting-line; everyone squanders energy in the first mile or two; then The Many begin to drop behind the knot of front-runners. We are in the knot, and just gotta doggedly maintain our pace.

If I still had any coins on Cryptsy I'd also try to get them out now. Not that I'm really concerned about that lawsuit, doesn't really look all that convincing to me. But it never hurts to be safe.

Yeah, I forgot the key component: Take your purchased coins off of cryptsy!

A thought. We could be the perpetual tortoise against a slew of hares. We could also get a couple of big boys to take notice of who we are and how way different we are. That could easily provide us with the Maserati to sail past the hares with the tortoise inside grinning out the window like a Cheshire Cat. Just thinkin' out loud...

Trying to get the big picture here, I've seen this info summarized before, but I can't seem to find it at the moment... Approximately how many coins are being minted per day now? (I seem to recall 16, but not sure.) The main unobtaium.uno page says: Unobtanium distribution has two stages. Roughly 190,000 units will be distributed during the first 6 block halvings. The remaining 60,000 units are for long-term mining support.
Since that page also currently shows the number of mined coins as 191,970.72, I assume we are now in that "remaining 60,000 unit" phase that I think I understand will last for some 300 years. Are there going to more block halvings in this period? If so, how many, and when is the next one? Will the number of coins per day being minted also be cut in half at that time from what they currently are?
