Hi. Ian Foxley here, some of you might know, I am doing some comparision videos on Youtube between two cloud mining companies and today I have some good news. Genesis Mining has added UNO coin to the list of coins that you can mine with their company. As it is black Friday today they are also doing a Black Friday special with 10% off the price of any contract, This also works additionally with a promo code, mine is in my signature I will be downloading the wallet later and hopefully will mine some UNO coins too. Just made a youtube video which you can watch here if you like http://youtu.be/G7u-efPXn-oThanks Ian If only a couple of us order ... and some have already ... guess what ... uno flooding the market (like 15kg is even doing that) is done. Thank You Genesis, Ian great videos great work, and thank you to anyone else who helped pulling off this epic milestone codes CK_DISCOUNT or MMD prominerone classic delete xrp and insert dvc Network Hashrate 14.6 TH/s ... and looking up (TEK) Network Hashrate: 27.50 TH/s (ACOIN) Network Hashrate: 17.86 TH/s (MZC)Network Hashrate: 15.74 TH/s (ZET)Network Hashrate: 10.17 TH/s (HAM)Network Hashrate: 7.93 TH/s (CURE)Network Hashrate: 7.39 TH/s (XJO)Network Hashrate: 4.62 TH/s (OSC) Network Hashrate: 2.59 TH/s

Network Hashrate 14.6 TH/s ... and looking up
We're back up to 20 ths atm. I get asked often about Uno's network strategy. The way I see it, our strategy should be multi-pronged going forward. 1. Whatever Blazr2 is working on. He has some creative ideas around merge mining. He learned some things contributing to ParallelCoin (DUO), even though that project didn't take off. Some of that learning may find its way back to Uno eventually. I trust Blazr on this. 2. Altruistic mining. Dedicated core community miners who see long term value in Uno and will keep hash on it always. They hash in low & high price situations. Anyone can join in the fun by purchasing cheap Sha256 mining equipment. Things just got easier today for altruistic miners, because now you can buy the hash at Genesis-mining.com. Just buy the hash & choose Uno as your coin -- let Genesis worry about electricity, heat, noise, software, etc., forever. I'd like to see 1/3rd of our network hash in the "altruistic" camp. 3. Fair market pricing. Fair pricing of Uno supports non-altruistic mining and immediate profitability, and also rewards our altruistic miners for sticking it out during unprofitable stretches. The community can influnce this by valuing Uno appropriately in the markets. It's obvious that the price of Un is a huge driver of hash rates. You can see it clearly on a daily basis; when Uno is climbing, so are hash rates. 4. Uno merged mining ecosystem. I've had some discussions with various coin managers/devs about merge mining around Uno. This involves no change to Uno. The merged coin keeps their own block chain but add code that that allows proof of work on Un to solve blocks on the merged coin. I have found some some interest from coin devs & pools, but not a lot of understanding around exactly how to accomplish this. What's needed is someone with technical skills to take the lead here and become a resource for the ecosystem, providing a roadmap and an example of how to do this. I can bring some organization and marketing to it, but I can't do the heavy technical lifting. By merge minging with Uno, smaller 'capped coins can increase their profitability to miners, tap Uno's higher hashrates, and leverage the Un community (including me) to help promote merge mining of their coin to our mining pools, and our exchanges. The more coins that do this, the more profitable and secure we all become. There is a Bitcoin merged mine ecosystem; what's needed is a faster 3 minute merged mining ecosystem to provide a profitable alternative. I'm hoping we can some traction here soon. Are you a coder with some talent, wanting to take on a challenge and help provide a merged-mining roadmap for other devs to follow? I would like to talk with you further about this. 5. Is there a number 5 and I've missed it? Probably there is and you can add to this strategy. Uno is an open source community driven initiative. Feel free to lead.

Just bought a little extra hashrate and pointed 500GHs at UNO in my Genesis Mining account. To those wanting to do the same, don't forget to add a payout wallet address in your account first, or the UNO setting won't be saved on the mining allocation page Thanks, Mike18feb, that's good news for Uno. I can't match your entire 500gb right now, but I was able to add 250 gb today at Genesis. It will always be on Uno. Will add more next month.

Genesis Mining Added Unobtanium to there Mining coins! The total Hashrate will go up for sure now Genesis Mining is supporting this coin. This is a Huge Thing guys! By usig the promo code MOON you will get an extra 3% discount on every purchase, the code is valid for both SHA-256 and Scrypt cloud mining hashrate at Genesis Mining. Woo hoo! (at dawn)
@ Blazr's Stable of Coins: I've noted that DVC's trading pair will be Uno/DVC; but TTs are, of course, free to trade DVC for other coins. All that matters is that the DVC themselves are traded only by TTs.

It's not the best way to word it. Gotcha, and thanks FK! I just signed up, but I screwed up doing so -- thinking that choosing USD payment would allow me to use a credit card. No, bank wire only. I hate bank wires. I've got a support ticket in on hopefully changing it from USD to BTC where I could then do a simple coinbase transfer.

Just do make another order for bitcoin. The USD order will expire on it's own.

Still thinking on how to make 'cheap' Physical Unobtanium chip-like items that include a loaded private key. Bigtime already offers a 'premier' Physical Unobtanium that can be used as a cold storage device, with the additional feature of being pure silver. I am trying to conceptualize something that holds 10grams or 100grams of Un, looks good and can't be destroyed by water. These would be great for freebies or street vendors. Mass distribution and give potential new investors a taste for Un.

The USD order will expire on it's own. Well, actually you can cancel an order yourself from the Dashboard page. All orders are there, at the bottom of the page, including status and a cancel option if you haven't paid yet. Bank orders suck. Every bank that touches the transfer in some way will slam a fee on top. If you're really unlucky then your transfer will go through several banks. I received first payment also, 0.16 UNO. But it's not based on a full day of mining of course. My rig at home does 1 UNO per 3 days now I think, and it's 550GHs or something like that. Without power costs added (or rather, deducted), so we'll have to see how the daily fees at GM (0.02USD per 10GHs) play a part in this. Considering future value we're talking about making $100,000 a month, so who cares

An easy and fast way to market would be to put a hologram label on the back of one of the cryptochip tokens.

Got my first Uno already from Genesis Mining! Give me a break, it was only a few hours of mining. They pay every day. I love all Un, even the dust! The deposit from CoinKing was about 2 days at 60 Gh/s Genesis deposit was a few hours at 250 Gh/s I see that Chainz is reporting a network hashrate of about 25 th/s this minute.

July 2011 ... wish I was smart enough to have collected btc 'notes' then ... actually wanted to but Getting to buy some was not so easy (silk road catchy back then real murky murk). Cards are standard credit-card size, 3.37" x 2.125" good idea ... I might make a few experimental of these just for fun ... a secure priv key is the tough part. But yes this is one variety of what can be done. I just was inspired ... and got a glimpse at what could be secure, small, very durable, and in your hand by the grams. But under my hat until I surely know it is possible. Changed the layout of the OP a bit. Hope you like it. Thanks to ProminerOne for the header graphic. Also updated addnodes list.
Another case of UNO gets it right. go read some OP of top100 coins, then read Knifes ... you will see a difference ... mainly information and a presentation that is not intimidating to new coin collectors. I still want to do .info site, but I think the UNO thing is this thread thing. The tread shows we are active and constantly working towards improvements. A case of 'don't screw with a system that works' is my excuse for not getting .info done, but I do have an idea that should complement the Un collection of website resources. (nothing flashy ... i can't even count how many 'fancy' website coins turned out to be total stinkers)
