West Brom were the much more effective side in the first half even though they are playing away. And it was very unlucky for them to finish the first half without scoring a goal. aLthough they got exactly 5 goal opportunities, they couldn't benefit from any of them. I hope that they can find the goal they need in the second half.

Barnsley vs West Brom is one match played today in EFL Championship and West Brom is looking like big favorite, but I would be careful betting on them.
Odds are low for away match and they have bad H2H history with Barnsley winning only two times from last six matches.
If we add that West Brom is missing few players for this match this makes me stay away from this match even more.
Barnsley is a team that had seven draws this season and most matches they played with under 2.5 goals, and West Brom is not much better so this will be my bet.

A very good decision in current circumstances because even West Brom having time, but they fail with very good ball possession and many solid attacks, nothing giving them a goal for having 2 crucial points from this relegation zone team now match is ended with the result of goalless draw with you already won your bet.

Now its already 5 in the championship for saturday and i think before matches start we might have even more. Even lower leagues in England are mostly postponed only maybe 6th and 7th are played much more then others. League two o most all postponed.

I am following the news from rest of the clubs and I did not see any big list of cases and missing players, so we should have six more matches played this weekend, unless something changes tomorrow.

My first prediction was correct, and West Brom played only 0:0 with Barnsley, so it was under 2.5 goals like I said.

Middlesbrough vs Bournemouth
Bournemouth is without win for five rounds and I think this would be great chance for them to return on winning ways with 3 new points and get Fulham under pressure in Sunday.
Middlesbrough should not be underestimated but in H2H matches they only won one time against Bournemouth with best away record in league.
I like that bookies made home team favorite so I am going against that with double chance because draw is possible here or away win in my opinion.

Blackburn vs Birmingham
Blackburn is in best form now with Brereton and other attackers on fire and I think they will beat Birmingham in this match.
Recent H2H meetings are on Blackburn side and last time they won 5:2 just few months ago, and we could see both teams scoring again.

Amazing win for Blackburn with four goals and Brereton scored two times again, he is now only three goals less than best goal scorer Mitrovic from Fulham.
Blackburn is on third place in table with only one point less than second placed Bournemouth who lost their match with Middlesbrough.

Now it's all on Fulham that plays a tricky match with Sheffield Utd tomorrow, and both teams have some injured and questionable players.
H2H matches are on Fulham side, and Sheffield won only one time in last seven matches with Fulham, but they are in very good form winning last three matches in league.

Sunderland! That has been a club once in EPL but always maintain almost relegation before it was relegated to Championship, later relegated to League 1. It is not doubtable that Arsenal will win Sunderland.

Arsenal is indeed experiencing an increase in performance, if we look at the previous 3 games Arsenal managed to win in the EPL and managed

Well that's clear, now there are no more representative teams from the Championship as they have been eliminated from the EFL Cup event, so it's just a discussion for the teams in the Championship here. Regarding the Championship itself for now it looks like Fulham looks good, relegated last season from the EPL it seems that Fulham has a chance to return to the EPL next season, who knows because the competition is still very fierce with a very close points gap.

EFL Championship Round 24 is starting this weekend on Sunday December 26 and we already have many canceled and postponed matches because of positive cases.
I am not sure if this is the full list but so far I did not heard any reports of cancelation from other clubs, except this matches:

Barnsley - Stoke
Cardiff - Coventry
Peterborough - Reading
Fulham - Birmingham
Millwall - Swansea
Preston - Sheffield Utd

This means that we have this six matches that should be played in Sunday and Monday in Championship:

Huddersfield - Blackpool

Middlesbrough - Nottingham
Derby - West Brom
QPR - Bournemouth

Only two days after that we have Round 25 on December 29 so it's going to be interesting to see who is going to play.
Predictions for this matches should be posted in next few days, and I have nice one with good odds.

I can see that there are already seven games which have been postponed already for this weekend. But there are still three games which are waiting for being played. I hope that they won't be postponed too and we can watch some action at least. Covid-19 really damages this league now. It has affected so many players already that we can't even watch nearly single game without a problem.

Well we wont know until 4 or 5 hours before matches start if they will be postponed.In championship even more postponed matches then in premier league and this is starting to become seriously annoying. I hope this three matches are played so we can bet on them.
