And my personal thanks for managing all the special prediction threads for Championship. I have to admit I do not know most teams there except of course from previous participation in the Premier League but it makes me wonder, with people like Norwich, Watford and now Fulham, if it is very common for teams that drop to go next season as champions in their league.

Norwich City actually have been one step on relegation drop to championship next year behind 8 points from latest team relegation as Everton but still have two match left. Norwich City have play with 29 games and left 9 games although have half of left match play as home, still not give guarantee for Norwich City could save from relegation and back drop to championship competition. Another team maybe Watford as candidate for drop to championship competition have 22 points and behind 3 points from Everton as collected 25 points but Everton have play 27 match and Watford have 29 match.

I was referring to when they and Watford dropped out of the Premier League and got relegated to Championship, but then fought to win the Championship the very next season. Fulham also look like they might go and do this too and I wondered or asked if this was a common thing because if so, it would be really cool to bet on the odds like this except your money stays in there the whole season.

For Fulham and Bournemouth their chance to playing at premier league are wide open next season especially Fulham they had showing stable performance this season but for Luton their position on standings league is not secure because their current points equal to Huddersfield and only 2 points ahead from sheffield united and Blackburn so the compete for 3rd position still very tight because on the paper 6 teams still had opportunity to finish at that position

I agree with you that Fulham and Bournemouth will be in but I also have my doubts about Luton's performance, clearly the odds indicate that he can get in, it would be a matter of very bad luck if they are left out, I don't know, it would be a serious blow, seeing that these teams have given a great football show where I know that they have fallen in love with more than one Luton cannot disappoint, in fact it would be a very bad thing if they did not qualify, it would be something painful and I think that even I would feel a lot of pain not to see them in the main league.

I'm with you. Huddersfield will be on my acca tomorrow, sandwiched between a number of very important top-tier games. I have to say though, wholly unfamiliar with their setup this season but I would really like for them not to clamber back up to EPL. Precisely why they need to win. The ones with the least safest positions should be the ones fighting hardest to win at the end of season. I don't think anyone's counting on them to win the league, it's just the playoff spots they're interested in, so it's really not about looking at #1 but #4.

In fact, at this stage, martingale on a team like Huddersfiled (and Derby) probably a good idea. I just might do that!

Most matches are finished for Round 40 Championship and we only have Birmingham vs West Brom scheduled for Sunday.
I wont dare to make any predictions in match that can go in any way, but West Brom is much better in H2H matches and they are favorites to win.
They miss more players for this match and in next few days they are playing against Bournemouth at home.

Derby won their match against Preston and they still have hope for survival if Reading and Barnsely starts losing in their next matches.
My main picks for this round was good, that was Huddersfield anf Fulham to win.
Huddersfield is now third and it's going to be direct fight with Bournemouth for direct Premier league promotion.

Fulham are getting close to the championship every week. The current gap with Bournemouth is eight points now. I know that Bournemouth have played one less game than Fulham but it is still not going to be easy for them to catch up with Fulham. And there is still a huge competition for the playoffs now. Everything can change in only a few weeks. I love the competition in the Championship a lot but the teams are playing too many games which is a con for them. There is a much tougher fight compared to the Premier League I think.

I think I watched the Hull City - Huddersfield game on Friday night, as they had a very tight first half with the score level and we did see one of the teams grabbing a red card before the first half.
Chances was created but not all of them was converted, the goal came as a result of the header, the punch from the goalie and then the rebound from the player back into the back of the net.
Ended a single goal too nothing!

See then, as discussed by some of us last week, Huddersfield a sure thing, even if the goal was something out of ping pong craziness, you just don't make stuff up like this ha.

But the best news for me is Derby finally, for the first time, have lifted themselves up from rock bottom. Yes, having played one game more, but I'll take points from games any day over games in hand.

Their GD is far healthier than anyone else in contention with them too, so they just need more wins, possibly more draws rather than losses. Amazing.

Round 40 finished today with Birmingham win against West Brom, and after looking on table I can say that Bournemouth still have slim chance of taking over first place, but they need to win all matches in next rounds and except for Fulham to slip.
Both teams will have chance to prove themselves in two days against West Brom and Middlesbrough, and they play each other in April,

Fulham next opponents are Middlesbrough, Coventry, Derby, Preston, Bournemouth, Nottingham, Luton and Sheffield Utd.

I think this can end up as draw on Swansea so I am betting double chance here.

I have to remember to check back often as I had no idea a whole round of games was ready until I was looking at Sportsbet Specials page to take the Brett Lee cricket special, and then saw something irresistible.
